*** Cylon Spoilers on this thread. Proceed with caution.***

I have not seen the entire series (still in the process of watching), so unless I post a photo/name of the known humanoid Cylon, then please do not discuss others on this thread. If you wish to discuss all, then you will need to create a separate spoiler thread. Thanks. :D

Number Six

The most prominent humanoid Cylon. I thought she was going to be just another pretty face, but the character has been surprisingly multifaceted. The character(s) have been a part of multiple simultaneously running storylines. Playing love/mind games with Baltar, on Caprica conducting experiments on humans...

Danna plays a pivotal role throughout the series. So do the rest of them except Simon. He kind of disappears very shortly.

To put them in correct numerical order:

1 - Brother Cavil

2 - Leoben Conoy

3 - D'Anna Biers

4 - Simon

5 - Aaron Doral

6 - "Six," Natalie, Gina...

7 - "Xxxxxx"

9 - Sharon Valerii

Dun-dun-dunnnnnnnnn...

The IDs of 1 and 7 can be added when you reach the point where they've been revealed, I kept them out in case you hadn't gotten that far.

I can now add Brother John Cavil to the list. He was revealed recently.

I just added Brother Cavil to the list. I'm wondering how the Basestar models fit into the equation. They looked humanoid to me, but I don't think they are being included in with the final 5 Cylon models yet to be revealed.

Not a spoiler, I think, to say that the basestar models are not being included in the final 5.

Base star models? Not ringing a bell. I think I know what you are referring to, but I'll ask in case I'm wrong.

The Basestar models as I called them initially are actually called Hybrids. They are found on Cylon Basestar/Baseships. The Basestar and the Hybrid are integrated. She was humanoid in appearance but was in an immersion tank with umbilicals connecting her to the ship. I think Six actually referred to her as the Basestar at one point too. They appear in Season three.

I've already watched the beginning episodes of Season Three but haven't posted threads about them yet since they haven't aired on BBC... and I'm still posting about Season Two on the boards.

The Hybrid reminded me a lot of the Borg Queen in some ways.

I'm buying the entire series on DVD, or maybe I'll put it on Santa's list :P
Either way, I have to finish watching this. It's one of the better "reboots" (or remakes) to date.

Its one of the best if the best ANYTHING to date.

Also, buy used on Amazon. You can get each season for under 10 bucks in pretty good shape. Beats paying $160 for the whole set
