We got some bad thunderstorms last night. I completely unplugged my computer for a while to protect it. The temperature today is supposed to be about 90° F with a very slim chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. So we will probably be in the clear today. |

The weather is wacky these days. One day warm, the next day cold. It will be 50s/60s for the next couple of days again. Definitely chill in the air right now. |

Today was 44, last night was 27. We got an early cold snap, but I don't mind it at all. I took a walk to the ballpark this morning and there was a pretty thick frost on the infield grass. |

Rumor (okay, the forecast) has it we're going to get whacked by a Nor'easter tomorrow... Some stations are going overboard, some forecasters are saying it won't live up to the hype. Tomorrow my friend is having a Halloween Party, same guy who had a party the night we got visited by Irene. He says he's getting ticked about the weather trying to kill his parties! Problem is, if it DOES turn out to be bad, many bars and clubs are having Halloween parties tomorrow night... |

Weather reports tonight are saying that we could get as much as 6" of snow over the weekend as a Nor'easter moves through the area. |

Here it's basically like this - very cold in the morning, warm in the afternoon. |

Whoah! I little early for the four letter word - SNOW! I hope you guys don't get bombarded! Jeesh! It's cold and rainy here in the "mitten" state. About normal for this time of year. The fall colors are absolutely beautiful, but I've heard nothing compares to the fall beauty of the eastern u.s. |

We got about 8" overnight with heavy winds and several area cities have no power at all since around 1- 2 am. |

We only got about 2" along the shoreline, but go only 10 miles inland, it was over 4", and higher as you went north. The northwestern part of the state lost a lot of power, due to downed trees and limbs. Many won't have power back until today or tomorrow. It's still pretty cold for this time of year, and still some patches of snow on the ground. |

Rain, rain, and more rain here today. I just hope it lets up for the kids trick-or-treating tonight. |

The majority of the snow that fell here over the weekend is pretty much gone now but there are still almost 900,000 residents without electricity. |

We're under a winter storm warning until 0600 Weds. morning. :: sigh :: I wish it would stay fairly nice, if windy, so the corn would get dry. Although it was a beautiful day and night for Halloween. At least for those going trick or treating. |
