What character could have not be cast and it made little difference on the show?

I guess for me the whole TCW was something I could have done without and that would likely me getting rid of Silik. Now, if they just gave us the Suliban as an adversary prior to the Klingons, maybe that would have been workable.

I'm not sure I could really choose to be honest, I haven't seen a huge amount of enterprise, but I thought all the characters had a vital role...

I accidently voted for Malcom, but I meant to vote for Travis. He didn't get much air time, and practically no interesting stories were featured for him. Very unfortunate, since Anthony Montgomery has got a full of life personality and is a huge charmer in person.....

Since only Swidden and Scooby had cast their vote, I deleted the old poll and added one back. Scooby, you can recast your vote now. Swidden, if you would please recast your vote too. :shuffle:

I've actually been thinking about it and decided that the series would have been fine without Travis.

My vote went to Travis Mayweather too. He had a few good moments ("Favorite Son"), but he was such a poorly developed character that I would not have missed him if he hadn't been cast.

That is not a dig at Anthony Montgomery. He worked with what the writers gave him.

I voted Hoshi. She was never my favorite and her insecurities in the beginning were too much for me.

Her insecurities were a major turnoff. It took way too long for her to stop acting so frail.

Totally with you, ReedEnterprise. I couldn't stand Hoshi's character.
