Last Sci-Fi movie? Tron Legacy. My oldest treated me :) It was for my B.day, he said.
I decided not to see it at the theater. The movie looked like a "rent me" movie.
It was pretty good on the big screen! Hubby got it when it came on the pay-per-view and it was okay, but I really liked it better at the theater. Esp the games and light cycles :D
I've read many comments about the visuals really drawing a person in at the theater because of the scale. I suspect the story wasn't as up to par as the visuals, which might explain why people aren't liking the movie as much as when they saw it at the theater. But still, it seems to be getting somewhat decent reviews.

I believe the last movie I watched was a bit of Sanctuary. :)

Battle of Los Angeles. Very average. Good claustrophobic "Alien" like-feel at time. Average effects, too much like "Transformers". Style of alien invasion was totally implausible - please, they don't even fight wars on linear fronts now! Not really impressed but I fear a sequel will follow.

Btw, hello :)

I guess I would have to say that it was FX's Superhero Sunday marathon yesterday with my son. And Fantastic Four 2 tonight.

Donner Cut Of Superman II. Not sure what all the hype was though. It is a different movie from the original theater release. And they had some great additions to it. But I don't think it is automatically superior to the theater release, just different. Good but different.

This movie certainly has its critics and its criticism, but I've always been a fan of it. I initially saw it when it came out in the theater and it was just a lot of fun to see at the time and still on occasion.

Will Smith, Harry Connick Jr., Jeff Goldbloom, Randy Quaid are just a few reasons why the movie came together for me.

I have only seen the theater release of Superman II. I think the villains in that movie are what made that movie really pop. I think I read somewhere that Commander Zod, Ursa and Non are supposed to be the villains in the upcoming Superman reboot movie.
