I've seen episodes here and there, but never the whole series. I have decided to record and watch the following:

A Thing About Machines – 9:30am (12/31)
And When The Sky Was Opened - 10:30am (12/31)
Escape Clause – 11:30am (12/31)
Mr. Garrity and the Graves – 12:00pm (12/31)
The Old Man In The Cave – 3:00pm (12/31)
Walking Distance – 4:30pm (12/31)
Monsters! – 7:30pm (12/31)
Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up – 10:30pm (12/31)

Third From The Sun – 12:30am (1/1)
Probe 7, Over And Out – 3:30am (1/1)
The Arrival – 7:00am (1/1)
I Shot an Arrow into the Air – 12:00pm (1/1)
People Are Alike All Over – 2:30pm (1/1)
The Invaders – 7:00pm (1/1)
Where Is Everybody – 8:30pm (1/1) Since it is the first episode
To Serve man – 9:00pm (1/1)
The Obsolete Man – 11:30pm (1/1)

Hocus-pocus And Frisby – 4:00am (1/2)

The thing I have noticed is that Syfy rarely deviates from their established list of shows when they run their marathons. I wonder if that means that they only have the rights to certain episodes?

Probably.

Are those about the same episodes that ran last year?

I find it odd that they don't run the episodes in order at least even if they were skipping over some.

They have done enough marathons over the past couple of years of this series now that I have noticed many recurring episodes. I really don't know why it is though. For the longest time the only did the original series, but lately they have begun to include the occasional one from the 80's revival. Not many and, I noticed the other night, that their screen info for an episode touted it as the 80's remake version of an original but what ran was the original. So, even though they have a number of 80's episodes on the list, I don't know how many will be among the airing.

I don't think any of the episodes airing over the course of this marathon are from the 80s. I went through many of the episodes listed, and all that I saw were the original episodes.
