Florida Teens Attempt to Rob Police Station

Quote:

Two Florida youth are facing armed robbery charges after a patently outrageous attempt to rob a police station. Two boys, ages twelve and fourteen, saw fit to walk into the Pt. St. Lucie detachment and demand money from the desk worker.

The worker, protected behind a glass enclosure, was startled when the 12-year-old moved his hand in his pocket as though he had a gun. She promptly ran into the back screaming for help.

Within moments, the bumbling kids saw themselves surrounded by cops, some with their guns drawn. Both were apparently amused with themselves afterwards, remarking that from that point on they would be famous.

I read about this story somewhere else. These two youths qualify as some of the dumbest criminals to ever walk this earth.

Youth can excuse a lot of mistakes, but this is just outright dumb. I wonder what their punishment will end up being?

These kids certainly don't have to worry about taking a gifted test.

Their punishment should include writing "doh" 10000 times, but they probably couldn't spell it.

Of course, this would happen in Florida...

Probably time in juvenile hall and then released when they turn the age of majority. If they have to stay in that long.

Just guessing though.

Maybe if the Florida state legislature allocated more funding for schools these kids would have learned more productive things to do with their time.
