Police: Dad threw 4 children off bridge
Those poor children. This man is monstrous. He had been in this country long enough to have an idea (IMO) that he could have given the children to Child Protective Services if he couldn't take care of them. I don't know if he was high at the time or not. |

Absolutely horrible!
I don't blame family and friends for holding on to hope, but if I understand correctly, those kids landed in water and I can't imagine they would be able to swim at their ages. The only chance they have of living IMO is if someone was able to rescue them quickly or if they were never actually thrown off the bridge. (The article mentions a witness saw "a bundle" thrown off the bridge and three kids in the car. The bundle may have been the baby, but who knows what happened with the three kids after that. The bundle also could have been something else and the baby, who probably wouldn't have been very visible in the car, may have been in there too.) If he actually sold the children, that's pretty disgusting as well. |

I suppose he could have been high on drugs and thought he threw them off the bridge. And the witness saw someone else. That doesn't seem to be the case. If no bodies are found, I suspect his lawyers will make that claim (i.e. that he was high an made the story up). If he sold the children, I think he would have admitted that before claiming murder. The former probably means several years in jail. The latter will probably mean the death penalty. The guy isn't too rational though. The authorities may never totally figure out what he actually did with them or what his motivation was. |

I don't think anyone with a drug addiction is very rational most of the time. But this kind of behavior is repugnant. |
