Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Deleted User	General Information: Full name: Beverley Amanda James Nickname(s):Bev, Mandy Pronunciation: Bev-er-Lee Gender: Female Birthdate: 26th May Age:16 Year: Sixth Year. Blood: Halfblood Wand: 10 ½ inch cedar with unicorn hair. Preferred House: Beverley would be ideally suited for hufflepuff, she is kind, loyal and hardworking and would rather do something against her beliefs than offend or hurt someone. Appearance: Height: 5,2ish Eyes: They are a deep hazel colour. Hair: A dark brown colour, long with a slight wave and is often worn down or in a pony tail. Physical Description: Beverley oddly inherited a slight olive skin tone despite both her parents being pale as sheets, she believed this was due to the fact that her mothers mother was Spanish and therefore something had been passed down through her. Beverley has small delicate features and is overall short for her age. She considers herself to be reasonably pretty not a knock out but she has had the attention of a few boys before. Because it is so hard to find clothes that fit her height, she quite often customises her own clothing, she doesn't stick to one particular style rather switching depending on mood. On her happy days, she would wear girly sundresses and skirts. On her more down days, she would wear hoodies and jeans or generally whatever was comfortable. She has a slight scar on her chin where she fell over at primary school when she was five but other than that she has no distinguishing features. Personality: On the surface, Beverley seems like the perfect student, well behaved, kind, loyal, hard working. However she has a deep urge to please people and this often impairs her judgement. She is a little shy at first and is easily manipulated by those who are more outgoing than her but she wouldn't allow someone to bully her.. too much! She is very charming, having been raised in Ireland, she has the gift of the gab and can ‘talk the hind legs off a donkey'. She's a curious student with a quick wit who enjoys asking questions but isn't necessarily the brightest student. She has the attention span of a gold fish at times and mood swings to match but it tends to go from ‘cheery' to ‘on happy pills' and back down again. Deep down, she knows that she is a bit of a doormat and wants to change and be more independent especially when it comes to sacrificing her beliefs in order to please people. She has a deep need to be liked and this struggle between being liked and doing what's right will always be hard for her. History: Beverley is a half-blood which, the daughter of a muggleborn, Felicity Quinn and half-blood, Richard James. Her mother is half Irish, half italian but was raised in Ireland and her father is English. So they decided the best place to raise their family was in Northern Ireland. She was born in Belfast and has a younger brother called Kieran aged 4. She first showed signs of being magical at the age of about 5, when she knocked a glass of the table and it hovered in midair for a few seconds before crashing to the ground. Her family life was nothing special; she was raised in both the magical and muggle world, her mother wanting her to get some idea of what it was like to live as a muggle so she went to a local primary school before coming to Hogwarts.
