Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Seventh Year

Athena entered the Girls' Dormitory.

She strolled down to her bed which was opposite the door she just walked through. She sat down, her hands in her head and cried her heart out. She haven't been crying since Will and her broke up. Speaking of Will, she still missed him. As much as Athena loved John and definitely she loved John, Athena missed Will's presence. If it wasn't for Jesscia Skidmore they would still be together but Athena was thankful it happened as she found someone she thought she would not be even in speaking terms with.

Athena lied down and thought of John. Where was he? She hoped that he was feeling alright after Janice's insults towards him. Athena wanted to talk to John so bad. She wanted to apologise. But things happen; Athena and John have their own businesses to mind. She hugged her pillow thinking it was John.

So many things Athena was thinking right now. She would implode if she didn't get to talk to anyone soon enough.

OOC: Maria is supposed to go in and have a chat with Athena but feel free to go and RP with her too if you want (:

Maria Rivera

This was, perhaps, the worst day Maria has had in Hogwarts. She woke up late, hardly had any breakfast except for a lone piece of toast (with no butter!), was late in most classes, engaged in a minor fight with Janice Fairchild, and was finally the subject of points and whispers. This was because she was climbing the Ravenclaw Tower staircase, with a distressed expression, and two plates full of food each resting on either two of her palms. She was a funny sight, overall.

Maria was on her way to Athena Bellchambers, for she was sure that after Janice Fairchild's insults, Athena would be very upset about it. And consequently, Athena probably wasn't going to have dinner. Speaking of dinner, Maria forgot to bring drinks. Oh well—they both performed the Aguamenti spell perfectly. They could find cups somewhere.

Thus, Maria entered the Ravenclaw Girl Dormitory, pissed at the whole day; at the people who had dared stare and whisper about her, with cold food on her hands. She knew that if she showed up to Athena looking angry and annoyed, she wouldn't help her already depressed mood. So she forced her lips to an even line, and relaxed her slanted eyebrows.

Maria spotted Athena, crying and lying on her four-poster bed, and walked over to her. She placed the plates on the nightstand beside her.

"How are you, Athena?" She intended her voice to be soothing or sympathetic, but it only came out an audible whisper, also hollow, like as if she was painfully indifferent. Like mentioned, Maria herself had a bad day, so it was hard to be calm and soothing when her hands were itching to rip something apart, or to throw the plates to a wall.
