Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Professor Aria Canton
Member Avatar
Hufflepuff Head of House & Charms Professor

Professor Aria Rita Canton entered her Charms classroom, a textbook in one hand and her wand in the other. In front of her, a pile of simple, muggle composition notebooks, and a cup of pumpkin juice, floated casually towards her desk. When she reached the front of the classroom, Aria deposited her book on the hard surface of her table, and slowly lowered the items until they were in their proper places.

It wasn't unusual to see random, charmed objects dancing around the classroom. Plain rooms bored Aria, and as soon as she could she had added as many decorations as allowed to the walls. Her favorite item was student made charms, things like colorful snuffboxes and color changing cloth. Even her first years had gotten into the random creativity projects she had assigned through the year, and the left side of her classroom was adorned with random, floating trinkets such as bells or feathers. It was delightful to look at!

The Professor breathed a heavy sigh as she moved the blackboard to the front of the room. Whilst humming a merry tune to herself (and Aria was full of merry tunes these days), the professor pulled out her favorite piece of chalk and began to write on the board in large, curly script. She could of easily charmed the message, but where was the fun in that?

Welcome to Charms!
Today is January 18th, 2013.

Conjuring Spells
- Creating objects out of thin air.

Avis
- Conjures a flock of small, twittering birds.

Today you will be conjuring small birds. Live objects are more difficult to create as you must draw energy from your surroundings. Once we have mastered this art, we will discuss the uses of conjuring animate objects in a real world scale. This is a creativity task, and I want you to try to figure out how you would go about conjuring and controlling the birds. Extra points will be rewarded for creativity.

Before you begin, please turn to page 127 in your textbooks and read the two paragraphs on conjuring animate objects.

You may work in partners. If you have any questions, raise your hand and I'll come by to help.

Homework: You will each take a composition notebook. In the next couple of weeks, I want you to do a research project on any subject in Conjuring Charms, whether it be notable witches or wizards, spell theory, or the uses of these charms. This will be due in two weeks, make it as long as it needs to be. After those two weeks, I'd like each and every one of you to give a short presentation on what you have learned.

Once she had finished the instructions, Aria stacked the notebooks neatly in front of her desk and took a seat. Now was as good as time as any to finish off her pumpkin juice.

Let the right one in

Scarlett quietly glided into the Charms classroom, barely giving a small smile to the professor as she took a seat in the front. She was still distracted from what happened outside the library but she tried not to let it effect her in the classroom. She looked at the board and did what it said by reading the paragraphs assigned. She had to reread it twice as she realized she didn't actually comprehend what she read the first few times. It was then that she decided to try and concentrate as hard as she could at the task at hand, hoping that would keep her thoughts away from what was bothering her.

Conjuring charms...Well, basics are to concentrate as hard as you can on whatever object you are trying to create. Scarlett realized how hard this task was, creating something that was actually alive and had feelings. Well, maybe that's part of it. Not only must you think of the type of bird you want but also how they must be feeling and what you want them to feel. Or...is it how you're feeling that controls them?

Scarlett kept brainstorming and writing down notes as other students wandered in.

average everday sane psycho (super goddess)

Rosalind walked into the Charms Classroom in a good mood. Why was she so happy? Well, no particular reason -- just one of those times when you suddenly feel like the whole world is somehow more open and more sunny and free and it makes you want to stand outside, open your arms wide, and spin around. Today, or at least this afternoon, was one of those days.

After taking a seat and kicking her stuff underneath the desk, she looked up to examine the board. Unlike Potions, which she really was mediocre at, Charms was something Rosalind actually enjoyed learning about. So reading the assigned pages was not necessarily a chore like note-taking in other classes, and didn't make her want to fall asleep, like her earlier class. The theory, the why and how of things, was of extreme interest to this Hufflepuff; magic beyond the mechanics.

Concentration, obviously, was important, as the board suggested. But things like the character of the caster, and familiarity serve as extremely important pieces of the puzzle. Character less for conjuring, but familiarity? Definitely. But the three most important ingredient of spellwork being the focus of mind, intention, and focus of power. Growing up in a Muggle environment where limitations are everywhere, sometimes Rosalind had a hard time expanding her mind to let magic do what it does -- virtually anything a person could imagine. That with the power of her mind and some magic she could recreate something so solid, and real, and alive as a flock of birds was, well, mindblowing.

To create something which was very much alive, one had to create the dynamics that made it alive. Focusing and envisioning not just general physical details but all the little nuances accompanying whatever was being conjured. As people continued to enter the classroom, Rosalind continued to think about the assignment.

Amera Percy

Amera shuffled into the Charms classroom with her head hung low, and her books placed casually in front of her chest. For once, she felt like she had that capacity to be in control of her emotions. Perhaps I should talk to somebody new... Even when she didn't have to deal with the...problem, Amera sometimes felt herself overcome with shyness at the prospect. The Hufflepuff, at only 5'1", had never towered above her classmates. Everyone felt gigantic compared to her frame.

Regardless, she had enough courage to introduce herself to a few people. Maybe I should do that now? It was a difficult decision. On one hand, an empty seat would be an open invitation for her girlfriend, Nicole Henderson, to sit down. On the other hand, sitting next to someone with bring opportunities. Amera would open her horizons to new groups, possibilities, and victims minds.

Oh, did she dare? Was it a good idea to sit with somebody new and learn about them? Or did she want to be stuck in her tiny group of Hufflepuffs for the rest of her life?

During this mental monologue, a couple of minutes had passed. Amera didn't realize how idiotic she looked, zoning off in the middle of the classroom. If it wasn't for a random noise (which turned out to be Professor Canton putting her goblet down), Amera could of gone like that forever. She quickly brushed out of it, and rushed to sit next to a Ravenclaw girl (Scarlett Fischer).

"Hullo." Amera muttered, before pulling out her textbook to begin the difficult assignment.

OOC: If you don't want Amera to sit here, just let me know. I figured it would help with the plot...just a bit.

Sixth Year

John entered the Charms classroom, still slightly injured from his earlier duel with Bellatrix Black

John hobbled all the way to one of the closest seats and groaned as he slumped himself in his chair. He carefully swivelled to face the board and smiled. Despite the extent of his injuries, nothing but death would stop John from coming to Charms, John's favourite subject since he started at Hogwarts, together with Transfiguration and DADA, formed John's favourite subject.

Soon after sitting down, John opened his notebook and began scribbling out the notes, as well as the instructions for the lesson and the homework. "Homework" John thought, groaning at the extra work he would be burdened with at the end of the class.

John waited for others to join, but in the mean time. John took out his wand and decided he would try and practise the spell. Taking out his wand and pointing it in the air. "Avis" John said, alas nothing occured. It seemed that the notes were right, the conjuring of a living thing is much more difficult than inatimate objects. "Avis" John said, and once again, his wand conjured nothing.

John placed his wand on his desk and tried to calm himself by breathing deeply. This new routine John tried when he got frustrated in class often helped John to relax and concentrate, which was important to how he would go in the performance of his spell.

With his mind now clear and focussed. Once again John pointed his wand skywards, "Avis" John called between clenched teeth. This time, however, the spell worked and 2-3 birds escaped from John's wand and flew around in circles above his wand.

"Come on" John said, fist pumping to himself and congratulating himself. Within minutes the birds had gone.

Athena ran as fast as she could and entered the Charms classroom. People have just started arriving and she was thankful that she wasn't late. Before she picked a chair, she looked around and found John. Before she sat beside him, Athena greeted the professor. 'Hey Professor Canton! How are you today?' she waved at her. She enjoyed Charms ever since First Year. The fact that Professor Canton was teaching the subject this year made Athena more eager to try.

Athena then took the seat and watched John conjured the spell. She was quite amazed by his talent. But then again, the birds disappeared. 'Nice.'Still, impressive. Athena caught up with John. She started writing then read the book. When she was done, she took out her wand. Pointing upwards, she chanted the spell: 'Avis.' The first wouldn't work of course. She then tried again for a second time and then, it worked. Only one bird came out of Athena's spell but, it worked pretty well. At first it flew around the room and sat on the ledge of the window. As if observing, the bird flew out of the window.

Athena was satisfied. She smiled at herself, almost tearful. If her brother was only beside her, she would have made him proud. Athena copied out the Homework part of what was written on the board then picked her wand up again. To John, she said, 'Gosh, this is cool.'

Despite the brightly colored decorations and cheery professor, when Katherine walked into the Charms classroom she couldn't help but feel a small twinge of...nerves? dread? both? Having never been very naturally tellented in complicated wandwork, Charms was easily one of her worst subjects.

THe Hufflepuff read the blackboard as she made her way to her seat, and the words written there did nothing to soothe her nerves. It had taken her nearly the entire period to conjure anything at all, and now she was supposed to whip up and entire flock of bloody birds?

Super.

Sighing, Kate pulled her thick textbook out of her bag and flipped to the page. By the time she had filled a page or so with notes in her tiny, slanted writing, most people had already begun to attempt the spell. Several people, including a Ravenclaw (Typical...) and a Gryffindor called John Haviland or something similar, had actually succeeded in creating birds.

Katherine pulled her wand out of her pocket and, after glancing around and trying to copy the wand movements of the others, began attempting the spell over and over again. In her mind she tried to picture the smallest bird she could think of, a bluebird, but her concentration seemed to become more and more lax with each failed attempt.

stupid..."Avis!"...bloody..."Avis!"...birds..."AVIS!"

Still focused, Scarlett eventually was successful in conjuring a bird. She wasn't the first to get it done but she was proud nonetheless. She wasn't one to brag but she knew she would have completed the task faster if she hadn't been so distracted.

She started to think about the essay the professor wanted when she heard a small voice say, 'Hello'. She looked up from her book and realized that someone was sitting next to her. She looked around to make sure the girl wasn't talking to someone else before realizing the tiny girl was talking to her.

"Oh, er, hey," she mumbled. Well this was weird, she thought. No one ever really bothered to sit by her, much less talk to her. ...Well, except for Bennett, but he was a different story. "Do you need help or something," she asked. That had to be it, that must be why she sat next to me. Why else would she?

Beth forced her heavy feet to cross the threshold into the Charms Classroom. She had just enough time to change and pick her satchel in the Dungeon after the football game. "Afternoon, Professor Canton," the girl addressed the young Charms teacher, walking further into the room. So far, there were only a few students present Beth wasn't overly familiar with, and there was no way she could ever sit near John, so Athena was out of the question as well. In the end, she took a seat at the front as usual, not far from Amera and Scarlett, smiling at both girls on her way.

After dropping on the chair, Beth prepared her things on the desk, opening her textbook and reading though it. The Hufflepuff had worked hard to get the best marks in Charms, just as her other Auror subjects, and even though it wasn't her best subject, today's lesson was fairly close to Transfiguration in which she improved enormously in the past year. John and Athena have already succeeded so Beth decided to give it a try as well, trying to ignore the pair. "Avis," she said clearly, following the wand movement precisely. But she was too tired and distracted. Pausing for a while, she tried to summon some better thoughts than those of betrayal. Her whole day could be summarized with that one word.

"Avis," she tried again. This time a pair of small birds flew from her wand, circling Beth's head, making her grin. This had to be one of the coolest spells ever. The two birds sat on the edge of the blackboard and chirped happily. Then she noticed a friend she hadn't seen before, trying the spell unsuccessfully. "Maybe try it with some positive thoughts?" Beth turned to Katherine with a smile. She didn't really know how the spell worked but it helped her just minutes ago.

Alfie entered the Charms classroom completely exhausted, he didn't even bother to look around, he had noticed Beth but as she was ignoring him he thought it best if he didn't sit next to her, so walking over to where Jack was, he threw his bag under the table, sitting down. He looked at the board, rolling his eyes, oh why did he pick this subject? Better yet, why did he just not skip it, he was not in the mood for this.

"Hey dude" Alfie muttered to Jack as he got his stuff out, then double checked the board, "Oh, for...." He trailed off as he noticed that he only needed his wand, noticing the feather in front of him he started to mutter the incantation, a little too half heartidly for him.

Ravenclaw Beater, Seventh Year

Terry strode into the classroom, his expression nearly unreadable. His new prefect badge pinned to his Ravenclaw sweater, but crooked, as if he had thrown it on in a hurry. This was partially because of the football game, which had him running and kicking in every direction. But he also never bothered to straighten it, a ritual he would perform with just about every article of clothing. It just didn't seem worth it at the moment. Tristan's familiar face, which was usually present in every lesson, was missing from this particular Charms class.

"Why do I feel worst after the game than I did before it?" The boy nervously adjusted his tie as he walked, barely glancing at the current occupants of the room. After muttering a quick greeting to his Professor, the Ravenclaw took a seat in the farthest right seat of the front row. After giving off a particularly unattractive sigh, Terry took out his notebook and began to copy the instructions. The boy noticed that most of his classmates had already conjured the birds. Impressive, but he wanted to take his time. How would the bird feel? What color would it be?

Everything seemed blue...If he attempted to conjure anything it would surely be miserable. Did he want to force something into that madness? It seemed too horrible to comprehend, and he never wanted to subject a bird to that. Instead, Terry read through the textbook passages as slowly as possible. It was better to practice the theory then torture defenseless animals.

Lex walked through the hallway and stood outside the charms classroom. As she took a step to walk in, two random bluebirds flew at her. Ducking slightly she watched as the birds through over her head. She continued in, stumbling through between the desks. She read the board, rolling her eyes. "Oh, lovely." She muttered inaudibly, shrugging her shoulders. The worst part was working in pairs. She looked around for someone to work with, and her eyes fell on Alfie. "Ugh. Of all the people partner-less I know, it would be him. Well, at least he's better than no one." She said, dropping her bag next to the seat to the left of Alfie. Unannounced, she sat down at the table.

Suddenly, she felt the urge to forget about all of this. She wanted everything with Alfie to be over with. How did this even start? Him kissing Beth was crossing the line, but this was borderline ridiculous. She quickly leaned over, whispering in his ear, "Uh, can we talk?" She turned then, to the board. Following directions, she opened a textbook, pretending to read.

Trying to make it look like she actually cared about this class today, she took our her wand. She decided to try to conjure a cardinal, and spoke clearly. "Avis! Avis!" she tried. Damn it! she thought, flicking her want once more. AVIS!" She finally managed to conjure her bird, the crimson red cardinal. Before she could do anything, though, the bird exploded, tiny bits of feather floating over the top of her head. "Oh, fuck." She muttered, putting her head down on her desk.

Luce was so confused after the previous time's events. Of course she could not turn back time and watch as the moments are relived in her mind. Luce liked Charms. Luce entered the exotic classroom, a worried look on her face. The same thoughts racked her mind. W-What is Aiden doing? He likes Charms too...he would never miss it. A-a-and he wouldn't miss our birthday!! Luce pushed the thoughts away. Aiden was her twin brother and no-one seemed to remember him...like he no longer existed.

Sitting down in the fourth row, Luce took out her dusty books. She read the paragraphs and looked around. People seemed to be starting their spells. Not many people had started to even get a feather out of their wands. Luce withdrew her wand and held it, pointing the tip in front of her.

"Avis!" She said, not concentrating. Luce had used this spell before and before, time and time again but nothing seemed to be happening. Luce cleared her mind before bracing herself for another spell try. "Avis!" She said. A small flock of blue birds sprouted from her wand. She wasn't surprised. It had happened before, and it would happen again.

"Avis!" Alfie said now a little louder trying to conjure his bird. After a few attempts he finally managed it, whilst his bluebird was flying around Alfie picked his text book out of his bag, dropping a box on the floor, he hadn't noticed though as he was trying to work on his spell, he opened his book to the appropriate page in order to learn how to do the spell properly.

Feeling someone sit next to him, Alfie's head shot up, his heart skipped a beat as he saw Alexa, he looked away for a few moments, his eyes on the textbook whilst he attempted to keep his gaze off his Fiancee, that was until she spoke.

"You want to talk? Don't you think you've had enough chances?" He whispered, his ehad turning back to the book, he did want to sort this out, he loved Alexa, but he was so fed up of finding things out about her last minute, like her blood status and her real side. "Go on then, I am listening" He told her, still reading the chapter he was on.

Alexa looked up as Alfie whispered back, and her glum smile twisted into a scowl. Taking a deep breath, she turned her body towards him and spoke. "Don't you think you've had just as many? I've tried, Alfie. I have. But I can't just turn away from who I was, and neither can you. You don't think I haven't heard stories, about you? About you with other girls before we were together? You must be joking. I thought you had changed, and I thought it was possible. When we starting dating, I vowed to make a change, to become someone that would actually be respected, not the mega-bitch Slytherin people come to expect of me." She said, putting her head in her hands.

Looking up at him with shifting eyes, she continued. "It's pretty damn obvious we can't escape we we are, no matter how much we want to. I wanted to believe we had changed for the better, and when you proposed, it was the icing on the cake, the presents at the party. It was complete. We'd changed. But one little thing changes all that? I think otherwise. That side that you like in me is still there, no matter how hard it is for you to see after Potions." She vented.

She looked up to Alfie then, her eyes wide, brimming with tears. It was hard to even say this, having to say what she had to. But there was no turning away from it. He may not want to sort it, but she had to. No longer could she have it looming over her head. "I get it. You love Beth. But if you really loved her, why did you propose, and if I hated you for that, why the hell is this ring still on my finger?" She spoke softly, raising her left hand. Sure enough, the ring was still on her finger.

"See?" She said simply, turning back to her book, she looked down and read, trying not to land herself a detention for trying to get a little normality in her life by talking to Alfie.

Alfie listened to Alexa, not really reading his textbook, he hung on every word she said, he resisted the urge to release a sad sigh, he knew at that, at that moment, his love for Alexa was more then normal, as he moved his foot nervously, he noticed he had knocked something, looking under the table his eyes widened, he picked up the box and placed it on the table. He faced Alexa.

"Look, Lex, what can I say? You saw what you saw, yes, I love Beth...as a friend" He told her, "I didn't propose to her, I proposed to you...I am in love with you" He told her, he was not sure what more he could say to make it any better, "Right, Lexa, I can't say anything that will make this any better, I can't tell you that I am sorry when I'm not...I was hurt, Beth was there, I was confused, I never planned it, it's not like I woke up thinking that I'd cheat on you" He said.

Moving the box towards Alexa, he opened it, inside was a white-gold bracelet with their names and the date of their wedding engraved on it, "I figured I would give it to you after the wedding, but I do love you" He told her, "I was a player once, I changed, I am a one woman man, I promise" He sighed as he looked at his textbook, then to the professors notes, after a few moments, Alfie looked back at Alexa as she showed him the ring.

"If I had fallen out of love with you, or in love with Beth, that ring would have been on a floor somewhere, I love you so much, so please, if your willing can we forget and move on, I still want you as my wife....if you'll still have me" He properly pushed the Bracelet towards her, "Alexa Kingston, please marry me on the thirteenth of August?" He asked.

Alexa bit her lip as Alfie spoke. "You don't have to apologize." She said weakly, wanting this all to be over. "I-I'm sorry." She muttered, reaching over and pecking Alfie on the cheek. She looked down, then, seeing an open box on the table. In it was a bracelet, with both their names on it. "Alfie, I..." Lex was speechless. Wanting to put the rest of their troubles behind them, she looked up, smiling. "Of course, I will, you silly goose." She said, poking him in the ribs playfully.

Getting weird looks from other students in the room, she quickly looked down and picked her wand up from her lap. "Avis!" she said, still thinking of her and Alfie. All of a sudden, a new cardinal appeared, swiftly flying around the room. Chirping brightly, it flew in circles, before flying out the door. "Wow." Was all she could say after all that had just happened.

Alfie smiled a wide toothy grin, "Oh, how I love you so much!" He exclaimed, taking the bracelet out of its box he opened it, placing it gently on Alexa's wrist, "Perfect" He smiled, "Just like you" He looked around the class, notcing some students close to them watching them, he knew he didn't need to apologise or even propose again but it felt wrong not to. He leant over kissing her cheek before turning back and practicing the spell once more.

He grinned as a thought come to mind, "You're now stuck with me whether you like it or not....your going to have my babies, and they'll come here and have our expiriences....gosh, Lex, I am so happy right now, I could just kiss you right now" He told her.

Maria Rivera

When Maria's hurried steps reached the Charms classroom, her heart's beating slowed down, with her nerves calming also. She was not tardy. She gulped down all her worries and bowed before Professor Canton, also deciding that she was going to buy a watch. It was inevitable that a bad day would soon come—it could even be tomorrow. She pressed her lips together and spotted Athena Bellchambers, who was looking at John Holland again, with a proud expression on her face. Maria wiped her sweat hastily, walked to the seat next to Athena, and tapped her shoulder again before smiling. It was just a simple smile—not the happiest one, like the one she gave back at the Quidditch pitch or breakfast—but it was still a smile. She then averted her gaze to the instructions board, and started to write down notes and read. She did it rather dully, sometimes absentmindedly, so she had to re-read some instructions.

She felt awfully drained, especially after her cheering at the Hogwarts Football Game (which she thought would do otherwise), and after a few moments of writing she was sleepy. A part of her knew that she should pay attention, to perform the Conjuring Charm better, but what could she do? She pinched herself and shook her head a bit before standing up and weakly mumbling "Avis.". This did nothing, obviously. She tried again, and again, and again, and again, until her drowsiness was completely pushed away by her frustrated determination. "Avis!" she said loudly, her brow furrowing. Nothing. Maria swelled with anger. Nothing will ever come from anger, a logical part of her advised. She counted from one to three, humming a Spanish lullaby song to calm her down, and in more or less fifteen minutes, she was cooler than earlier. No time for drama, she told herself. She had to do this. She really did.

"Avis." Maria repeated, calmer than ever, but internally determined and concentrated. She reread the instructions again, mouthing the words ‘…as you must draw energy from your surroundings.'. For good measure, she reread her notes again. Right…she had to be positive. Positive, positive, positive. She had Charms homework—that was positive, right? She was going to start researching tonight and create the longest, most informational, amazing Charms report. She could imagine herself, with a sense of pride, flipping from page to page, scribbling drafts and notes, and then finally deciding on something—hopefully spell theory, she loved spell theory—and then handing it to Professor Canton, who would declare her the best Charms student. That was nice—the best feeling ever. Elated more than ever, although careful to keep her focus, she repeated "Avis.".

A small, yellow bird appeared out of the wand, tweeting effervescently. Maria's eyes widened in both surprise and happiness, her gaze following the bird. For a moment Maria considered keeping it as some sort of breathing trophy, but then the bird could no longer carry itself and dropped on her desk, tweeting again. Fuck no. She wasn't keeping that bird. It was all alone; it couldn't fly; it overall sucked. Pressing her lips, she tried repeatedly, keeping in mind her goal for a perfect flock of birds, and the dream of submitting a tastefully wordy report.

Sixth Year ~ Sleep-deprived ~ What have I become?

Rue was in a spiteful mood, especially when she walked into the Charms classroom. She seriously felt like being horrid to a Gryffindor. A certain Gryffindor. Luce Daniels. Rue had often thought what parent would name their daughter Luce? It must be short for something, like Lucinda or Lucia or Lucelia. Seems like she was in luck.

After sitting down behind her prey, Rue decided to let the taunting begin. "Saw your brother the other day, Daniels." She started. Her brother was a sensitive topic for Luce right now. Especially with him spending all his time in his dorm or in the common room. He skipped lessons and food, but Rue was one of his friends. Rue smirked. "Seemed, happy. Told him you were looking for him. Told me he was avoiding you, has a better way to spend his time. Pity. A strong man stuck with a helpless little girl like you. If I was his twin, well, he would be much happier." Rue sat excited, waiting for her reaction, a reaction that would hopefully get her sent to the headmistress' office, and make Rue seem innocent when she was nothing of the kind.

Rue opened her textbook, but didn't really read it. She just stared blankly at the page. Rue loved teasing Daniels. Luce was an odd person indeed. Rue wanted the world to see the real Luce that only Rue and Luce's family had seen. Rue's family were friends' with Luce's family, and the three were often pushed together... Rue would bully Luce when Aiden wasn't around. Luce got very angry and showed the side that no-one knew Luce was...a dark, mean, angry person.

Rue decided to say something else. "Your brother is a good kisser too. Listen, Daniels. Your a dead girl, walking." Rue used that last sentence as a threat. Surely, Luce would retaliate to that.
