| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. Scarlett paced back and fourth down the Fourth Floor Corridors for a few minutes before deciding where to sit and study. She carefully chose a spot next to a window as she figured she'd be most comfortable there. She chose this new spot to study, not because the library was packed (it never was), but because she wanted to change it up a bit. Though a few feet from the library might not be a big difference to some, it was as biggest change that Scarlett was willing to make at that time. After the disaster that was History of Magic, Scarlett needed to make up for lost time. She quickly ate lunch in the Grand Hall, eating alone and quietly. After years of practice, she was very good at avoiding people now. Well except that Bennett kid apparently, the reason why she felt the need to catch up. During class she realized that she really didn't know that much about Werewolves. After lunch she made her way to the library, found a few books and now here she sat. Another afternoon studying like always. But she knew it was worth it. After school, while most of the kids in her class will be doing mediocre jobs, she would be at the top of her game and very successful. She wouldn't except anything less. Granted, she still had to figure out what it was exactly that she wanted to do but she figured she would know enough, that by the time she chose she would just fit right in. While thinking everything was going to go according to plan, Scarlett conceitedly got lost in her thoughts. After awhile she came back to reality and got to work. In 1990s, the Ministry passed a anti-werewolf legislation... |

A half hour had gone by when Scarlett decided to take a break. A lot of the information that she was reading was already familiar. She had read it before and it now all coming back to her. Of course this would have been more useful in class but at least she was prepared for the next lesson. She pulled out her Charms book to prepare for her next class. She sighed and wished that she could have a burst of energy to motivate her. There was only so much she could do to keep herself awake. As much as she knew all this studying was only helping her, Scarlett couldn't help but feel worn out. She was exhausted, mentally and physically. She was constantly going and going and she was waiting for the breaking point. She chewed on her quill as she looked outside and saw students outside hanging out. The familiar feeling of wanting friends was creeping up again. It was a routine she could not escape. Class, study, eat, class, study, wishing she had friends, study, sleep. Not always in the order but you get the idea. Right when she was about to go back to studying, she noticed writing on the wall. As reached out to trace it, her head suddenly felt like it was about to burst. She saw flashes of a hand, writing on that exact wall, writing exactly what she was seeing. "AHHHEA," she yelled out in pain. She closed her eyes and when the pain subsided she opened them. She was thankful no one was around her and went back to the writing on the wall. What the hell just happened? What was it that she saw? She sat there baffled, still rubbing her head. She thought it over and figured it must've been an illusion of some sort...but that didn't make any sense. Who would take time to charm writing on the wall just to have whoever touch it see it being written? She wondered if it was a one time thing only. She slowly reached out her hand back to the writing. This time she was brought into a sort of flashback. A young student, a first or second year, had been there, etching on the wall. So someone else had done this. But when? And how was Scarlett seeing this? So many questions all of a sudden and she knew books didn't have the answer. her head hurt again but not as bad as before. All of a sudden she was scared. Quickly, Scarlett gathered up her belongings and ran out of the Fourth Floor Corridor. She needed answers and fast. Edited by Scarlett Fischer, Jun 4 2011, 02:13:36 AM.
