Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

I mean, Ron, doesn't have to end up with Hermione (no offense to shippers ^^). Harry doesn't have to be the most popular guy at school. What I'm trying to say, if they work for it through RP than sure, but I definitely hope all characters will be equal. Still, I have a feeling it will end up like : "Oooh, he's Harry Potter! I have to be friends with him!" BTW, I don't want another canon of course, but I would really like to make this really cool professor (already have his char sheet written and all). Just putting it out there

We already have a Hermione and we have a Draco. I don't think either of them will have kids yet. Also, guys, none of this is finalized. Riddle and Luna have been reserved all this gen (as well as Angelina), but Dave said we shouldn't set anything in stone.

Just putting it out there THIS. Also I agree with Mary in that I like how our RP is heavily OC and I'd be really sad and kind of miffed if we lost that quality. I've RPd places that are mostly canon and only slightly OC and it's harder to play OCs that way. I think having some of these characters would be cool or maybe more minor characters who don't have an established personalities/etc.

Aside from Tom Riddle, who is heavily involved with next gen. But we would probably play them how we play this gen's canons. Not main characters, not following canon lines. Terry is one of those small charries in the books (only mentioned 14 times), so I kind of took him from there. As Anna said, we are AU for a reason. We want to play these characters, but not take over with them.

It'd be fun for some canon's to be integrated into our original plots, but if we literally have everyone it'd kind of annoy me. Idk, I don't want to say that "some people can have canon characters and some can't" but I'd like to have ideas. Maybe a list of a restricted amount, and first come, first serve?
