| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Somewhere, out there, some random person would be celebrating Christmas joyfully. And Jason hated the fact that he couldn't do the same thing. As Jason paced on the Third floor corridor, he played with a mini soccer ball that he had bought from the muggle store a year ago, also a Christmas Day. Staying and living with normal muggles made Jason more open on how they lived: simple and very different from wozards. What Jason couldn't understand was why did pure bloods hated them? Although he was a pure blood himself, he had never, ever thought of being cruel to the muggles. They were weak and vulnerable. Jason stopped thinking about it. He remembered Amber, the muggle girlfriend that he had. She was a lovely girl until the day the dementors ran wild and killed her. Jason kicked the ball as hard as he could to the wall out of frustration. Damn it!, Jason thought. He tried to calm himself down by sitting on the floor, held the ball with both hands. He just hope he would feel better soon. |

Rana padded into the Third Floor Corridor. She forced herself to keep her chin up, just in case she passed by anybody else. Rana had no particular destination in mind - she preferred to wander about whenever her emotions got the best of her. It seemed to have become more common during her sixth year, but it was probably just a phase that she would overcome - eventually. For now, she would keep to herself. Nobody else needed to know, and she wouldn't let them find out. "Hello, Professor," she chirped with fake enthusiasm. "Wandering the corridors as well?" Rana couldn't help averting her eyes for a brief moment. He was cute - incredibly cute. She had to remind herself that he was in a position of authority. Jason looked... upset, but he was just a Professor. Whatever. She could still pretend to care. "What's the matter," she asked, tilting her head slightly to the side. Rana stared at the figure, who was sitting with a muggle football between his hands. She had played with one of those. In fact, she found football a rather amusing sport. She favored it over even Quiddich, though she wouldn't dare tell anybody. Sure, Rana disliked muggles, but their sports were fun. Edited by Rana Rosanne, May 14 2011, 11:37:41 AM.

Jason bolted up when he heard footsteps and a female voice. The blonde girl startled him so much. One moment, he was upset then one moment he was alert and smiling. He looked at the girl with great admiration. Oh no. Stop! he thought. She isn't Amber! Jason stopped himself from thinking about the muggle. As he stood up, he straightened his shirt and dropped the ball and held it in place with his foot. 'Good evening to you.' Jason smiled at the girl. 'Yes I am, Miss Rosanne. Just trying to catch students walking around in the middle of the night.' He casually said. 'Like you... jokes!' he chuckled. Jason didn't realise that the girl noticed him getting depressed. 'Oh nothing.' Of course he would never tell a student about his problems. 'What's the matter with you? He reversed the question. He kicked the ball lightly to the girl, hoping that she would become comfrtable around him. |

Rana allowed a smirk to touch her lips for a brief moment. He was smiling at her. Staring at her, even. It made her feel odd, but at the same time, it felt nice. "Hopefully you won't tell anyone," she said, echoing his laugh. Awkward situation, but Rana could deal with it. When he called her by her last name, she grinned. Rosanne was the name that she wanted to go by as a little kid, since she didn't really like Rana. But only her parents knew that. Oh, and her brother, but it was obvious. Plastering a smile on her face, she decided to lie. "Oh, nothing really," she responded. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Obviously a teacher wouldn't tell her the truth. It didn't really matter, but she should have known. She casually kicked the ball back to the Professor, while kicking herself inside of her head. |

'How could I tell anyone? I am the authority here as far as we know at the moment.' He laughed. This girl was quite funny. Jason never felt as happy this evening. When Rana came, everything became lighter. No. problems, no worries. He smiled at her again, appreciating her company for the moment. 'Nothing? Oh come on, spill it out.' He winked at her. He knew that there was something going on inside her head, he could feel it. Jason was a very curious person and he was intending to find out what she was hiding. 'You can't say it's a long story because that is what always people say, it's an old excuse' He chuckled. |

Jason was laughing. Was that a good thing? Perhaps. Either he was attempting to lighten the mood, or he was laughing directly at Rana. Normally she was the one who would be chuckling at others. The thought made her narrow her eyes, setting her lips in a tight line. His next smile seemed... genuine. She forced herself to smile back, the fake emotion on her face nearly causing her to gag. "Oh, but it is," she replied, stepping closer to him, as if to take the muggle ball from between his feet. Instead, she paused, taking in his appearance once more. Rana decided to ask her question again, as if he would tell her the truth. As if she cared enough to demand an answer. "What's really going on?" she asked. "I'll tell if you do." Jason became so powerless on the next event: Rana walking up to him. She was so attractive that Jason was getting hurt. He of course could not have a relationship with a student! It was absolutely, illegal, forbidden and frowned upon! Jason was getting frustrated. He then shook his head in disappointment. 'Err... Well...' Nothing could come out of his mouth; it was so dry and he could hardly look at her. 'Well, you just look like my former girlfriend in the muggle world.' He suddenly said. Thank gosh it aready came out. Jason could now smell her fragrant perfume. This wasn't going well for him. Jason frowned and slightly stepped back. 'Rana... I... This is nnot good.' he said. He like her, yes, but thi was not appropriate. Rana was dominating the poor young professor. |

OOC: I'd advise that you watch where you go with this, guys. As much as this makes for interesting role playing and fun writing, it's not smart to toy with situations like these. A student/teacher relationship is something serious and could have disastrous consequences. Not only is it really uncommon, it also sparks up a moral issue. Please and thanks, Kane. |

(ooc: Dw, Kane, we've been talking about it in PMs. >.< I personally don't see anything horrible as the outcome, but I'll def change anything if it's really that bad. Obviously an actual relationship between a teacher and a student would be pretty bad. It's all worked out.) Rana felt... shocked. A professor, comparing her to a muggle? His muggle girlfriend? She allowed herself a second to roll her eyes before turning her back to Jason. "Muggles are -" she paused and chuckled. It didn't matter what he said, or how he decided to reply. "Gross." Rana tossed her head back, closing her eyes for a brief moment before extending an invitation his way. "Feel free to find me some other time." She felt the anger build. Well, not quite anger... annoyance, perhaps. Who cared if Jason had meant well - his girlfriend was a muggle, in the muggle world. Rana needed to leave before she either blew up, or got in trouble. She sighed and ran her fingers over the wall before exiting the corridor. |
