Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Hypocrisy at its worst and a blatantly obvious teacher's pet wanna-be. He gets rejected on a regular basis. A horrible romantic, he is a bit too invested in the idea of love-at-first-sight for his own good. He falls madly 'in love' in quick succession. Rejection means a broken heart for a few hours and his heart changes. Immediately after rejection, he falls in love once again, forgetting about his old love rather quickly. Indeed, he is not a flirt or a player, he is something worse. He genuinely believes that the latest object of his love is his one and only True Love and insists that the loves of the past were simply the follies of one's youth and that his current crush is really The One -much to the exasperation and amusement of his friends. Not to mention his confessions of love can get rather flowery and are extremely cheesy and drive the people around him insane. No one takes him seriously anymore. His reputation is for this is the pits.[/i] How social? -Is irritatingly optimistic and cheerful and never misses a chance to tell someone about how awesome he is and twit them if they dare be dull/pessimistic/sarcastic in front of him. -Has a tendency to drag/force people into friendship. Once he likes you, he'll never stop bothering you. -Has a habit of acting overly familiar with most people. How many friends would you expect them to have by sixth year? Plenty. If not friends, many acquaintances. Would they befriend anyone, or only people of certain blood or their own housemates? -Anyone. Doesn't matter. He can always find something interesting about someone. -Likes bickering with the other houses (not so much Ravenclaw, ‘cause damn, they can be a scary bunch, knowledge is power indeed) -Thinks playing rivalry games and exchanging petty insults is a great way to pass time. That is, as long as he's not caught doing so by a reasonably powerful authority figure.
