| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. Jack beamed. Of course she knew him, he was Jack Desmount after all. He lounged back into the edge of the seat and crossed his arms haughtily with a smirk across his face. And he thought the Junior Auror Academy meeting was going to be serious. Pfft. "Athena Bellchambers..." Jack mused her name with a smile, he had heard of her somewhere but really didn't know where he had. Ah yes. She was William Anderson's girlfriend. A sigh of disappointment erupted from his mouth, she was taken and being the gentleman he was. He wasn't going to lower himself into the depths of Henry Tudor. "As a matter of fact I do know Fairchild," He said, surprised that she was her step cousin. But he was glad to know that she didn't have any of her ice cold blood," The bitch was trying to pull a victory under her belt before first period... no offense." "Don't worry about it Bellchambers," Jack tilted his head towards her and placed one of his hands lightly on her shoulder, speaking in a soothing and calming voice. "I'm actually flattered that you go through all that effort to spy on me. Well done girl," Jack winked and retracted his hands and rejoined back into the knot across his chest. "Of course there are. Obviously, I'd rather be at the Halloween Feast," Jack nodded in agreement. "Drinking pumpkin juice, hanging out with friends, flaunting all my multiple beaus," he chuckled glancing briefly at Kemp before turning back to Athena. He took his future very seriously, even if he didn't like to show it. All his family were successful in life, and he had to do the same before he was well known on the family tree for being the school-failure. "But, I've recently been having all play and no work. The ratio seems to be way off scale and there is only one way to balance it," Jack said, gesturing his head to Kemp. None of it was true though. He seriously could be a Ravenclaw if he wanted to. |

Beth crept into the Unused Classroom, wondering if she had been late. That would have been embarrassing, especially for the first meeting, and ironic because she was looking forward to it ever since she got the letter. Suffice to say Beth had been extremely honored to receive it, even though she suspected dozens of other students did as well. After the DADA class earlier today, her expectations rose even higher, and as the time neared she became increasingly anxious. Instead of going to the feast, she spent her time practicing her flying skill to pass the time and take her mind off the meeting. After several unsuccessful attempts, she got into it and nearly forgot what time was it. Luckily for her, Kemp started his speech just as she came in, so she knew she probably didn't miss anything. Beth came to really value the Head of MLE's honesty, even though it might have scared some people off. She usually found it hard to trust people, but Kemp seemed to be one of the few exceptions. He really seemed to believe in what he said, and Beth wanted to help the right cause, maybe even indirectly help against Azariah himself. And although Divination wasn't her favorite subject, she believed it was her fate to become an Auror and protect innocent people, it was her main motivation in life, closely followed by not wanting to be a disappointment to her father. Maybe Kemp reminded her of him a little, without the foul and snarky moods. However, Beth disliked the thought she could hurt any other students, let alone her friends. She glanced around and saw Athena in the room, which calmed her a little since she would have a friend here. Yet, she understood it's better to suffer s minor injury in Auror 's Academy, than being killed by a Knight. The time came to sign Kemp's contract, and some of Beth's doubts flowed to surface again. She didn't like signing anything, and was warned against it at home. Despite mostly growing up in a Muggle world, she had heard about some magical enhancements on contracts. Beth gathered her courage and stepped forward, where Addie already stood, since they were among the last ones to sign. While Kemp was busy talking to some other woman, whom Beth didn't know, she took a closer look at the parchment to see if there was anything written on it. She felt tempted to draw her wand and check it magically, but the two Aurors Kemp introduced earlier kept a suspicious eye on her. She gave them a small nervous smile and took a deep breath as she raised her hand to sign, silently ordering it not to tremble, which didn't really help. As she turned around, she gave Addie an encouraging smile. Beth had heard a rumor she was running some sort of defense club with Tristan, and despite badly wanting to join, she didn't know how to approach them without an invitation - or if it was really true. At last she made her way to a small group of students. There was Athena, whom she greeted immediately, but didn't want to interrupt her conversation with a boy, Jack, she remembered. And there was also Elle. Beth didn't like the girl much, ever since the last year's ball, when June had been attacked. Maybe she was a little jealous because Elle got to help one of her few best friends, while Beth couldn't, and was all bossy about it. She had felt so useless then. Shaking her head, she shook away the intruding memories as well, and said 'hi' to the other students with a smile. "So what do you think so far?" |

Rozalia gave him a sweet smile, not breaking her firm gaze. Her dark eyes glittered with a mix of charm and malice, but never revealing the fury that had begun to boil in her very veins. Kemp was stubborn and though she knew it was her job to be his inferior she felt obligated to stand her ground. Surely the man could see that they were just children and horrified of him. "Please, sir, I didn't mean to overstep..I just think you might earn their loyalty more easily if you didn't petrify them first. Then once you've earned that trust you can treat them as Aurors or whatever else you see fit." Rozalia slipped her fingertips up to gently touch his left shoulder, bringing her lips a bit closer to his ear as she did. If a little seduction wouldn't get her what she wanted she would consider more drastic measures. But for now she decided to fall back on her natural charms. "I have a little experience with children, Mister Kemp, so...well, it might be wise to heed my advice just this once. You might find it to be very..rewarding." Rozalia shifted back, resuming her former position, the same delicate smile never leaving her rose-tinted lips. |

Addie raised her eyes to meet Kemp's briefly, before returning them to the parchment. Instead of debating her decision, she strained her ears to catch the conversation between the two aurors. Apparently the MLE wasn't so stable after all, not that that surprised her. Addie glanced to Beth as she signed the contract, smiling at her faintly. The girl stepped forward, holding her quill over the sheet before signing it and stepping back once more. She hadn't been able to hear much of what the woman said, though Kemp didn't seem to make any effort to keep quiet. She had to admit, Kemp seemed more trustworthy than this woman, he was blunt. "With all due respect miss, I turn 17 in six months. I'd hardly consider myself a child." The girl commented simply, watching the woman. |

"Please, sir, I didn't mean to overstep..I just think you might earn their loyalty more easily if you didn't petrify them first. Then once you've earned that trust you can treat them as Aurors or whatever else you see fit." When Rozalia's fingers touched Kemp's shoulder, he wanted to smack her. Who did she think he was? He was not so controlled by his base desires that he could be swayed by such an act. Perhaps she had experience in getting her way with others in the MLE using those methods, but Kemp did not get where he was by being so easily manipulated. If sex is what he wanted, he could easily get it, and he could get it from many more younger, more beautiful, and less dangerous than Rozalia Kondracs. Power was like that. And Kemp had power; power he was not intent on losing. "I have a little experience with children, Mister Kemp, so...well, it might be wise to heed my advice just this once. You might find it to be very..rewarding." Abraxas was losing respect for the woman by the second. She was lucky that bad guys fell down when she casted spells. "The kind of trust you speak of breeds complacency," Kemp argued, "and we cannot afford to be complacent. I've no interest in lying to these children about how the world really works." He turned to his students. "Never forget," said Kemp, "Fear can be a viable tool for gaining allegiance. Strength comes from unity. Unity comes from striving towards a common goal. Safety and security is one common goal that is easy to get most people to strive for." Rozalia Kondracs was just a tease. She wanted men to desire her, to fantasize about her, because it gave her power. Kemp, on the other hand, already had power; power, and reality to face. When Miss Lumineux finally made up her mind and signed the damn contract, she did so with a comment of her own on the debate: "With all due respect miss, I turn 17 in six months. I'd hardly consider myself a child." The girl commented simply, watching the woman. She had nerve. Kemp respected that. "Ha!" said Kemp, "There you go. They're not even hardly children anymore. And what childhood did they have, anyway, under Azariah's shadow? I'm sure these 'children' would like for their children to have a decent life. At least, that's why I do what I do. "Very well, then," said Kemp to Addie, "Lumineux. Stand up and join me at the front of the room. You can be the first to help me with some demonstration." |

She was pleased with Kemp's response to her comment, and somewhat surprised at his calling her to the front. There was no hesitation now, she'd made her decision. "Tell me, Lumineux," said Kemp, "What do you know of the Elementium--the power that Azariah Amaranth uses? Come now, this isn't a trap. I know Professor Tortal has done lessons on it, and, no, I'm not going to do anything about it. This is for our defense lesson." |

Elle smiled vaguely at whatever Athena had said; she was no longer paying attention to her. Now she was focused on the woman that had spoken with Kemp. She had been silent before and had escaped Elle's notice, but something about her made Elle think twice. Maybe it was the sort of dark gleam in the woman's eye or the way that she was clearly trying to seduce Kemp into doing something for her. Whatever it was lurking behind that velvety smile, Elle didn't like it one bit. She watched carefully as Addie stepped up next to the small group from the Ministry. Something stirred in her, the instinct to leap forward and push the girl out of harm's way. The whole group put her on edge but she stifled the feeling and drew her wand from the loose pocket of her tunic. At least things seemed to be on their way to beginning. Maybe that would distract her from her sense of impending doom. |

Rozalia ignored most of the conversation playing out between Addie and Abraxas, lost in her thoughts. At the moment her thoughts centered on the various ways she could torture and kill Kemp and take over his position. No one would ever suspect such a sweet young lady of being a cold blooded murderer. Hah. They didn't have any idea who she was. Oh, sure, they'd heard of the masked seductress that had an affinity for the Cruciatus curse, but no one knew the face behind the mask. ...Elementium...for our Defense lesson... Roze snapped to attention. Of course she would like to see some of the children in the room smoked by out of control fire, but that was not supposed to be the wish of an upstanding Ministry employee, especially not one as prominent as herself. She swallowed the bitter bloodlust and gently cleared her throat. "Mister Kemp, perhaps I should be authorized to...step in if things get out of hand. After all, despite any of their personal convictions they are still technically children and it is still our duty to protect them." |

Kemp struggled not to roll his eyes. "Very well," said Kemp, "I suppose you are correct, Kondracs. You and I will demonstrate first. Stand in front of me, please." Kemp cleared his throat. "The elementium is an an obscure branch of magic," said Kemp, "Being an elementus allows one to control one of the physical elements which make up this world. Much like metamorphamagi, one cannot learn to be an elementus, they must be born with the rare genetic defect that awakens this power sometime in one's adolescence. The power is considered illegal and dangerous because it cannot be countered by normal means. Most spells and curses have distinct counter measures; defensive spells, countercurses, special magical devices that offer protection, but none of these work to counteract the power of an elementus because the magic works on a completely different set of rules. You can't dispel a fireball being hurled at you by a fire elementus, and even the enchanted flames of fiendfyre can be put out by a water elementus. Luckily, it appears as though an elementus quickly loses their power if they are not trained to master it, and any instances of their power having awakened is usually written off as any normal kind of unintentional magic. As an added measure, the Ministry long ago outlawed teaching even the theory of the elementium to anyone. This law has kept us safe from an extremely destructive kind of magic ever since. "Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that Azariah Amaranth is a trained elementus of considerable power. We do not know who could have taught him this. He does not seem to be limited to one element, but, it seems, all the elements of our physical world bend to his command. For that reason, the MLE has conducted research in how to counteract the elementium. "We have uncovered one set of laws that governs all elementium powers: The laws of physics. Mainstream Magic is a system of willing the world around you to change to suit you; that system has fewer limits but also an extensive system of countermeasures. Elementium takes the elements of the world as they are and simply manipulates them. So, in order to counter an elementium power, you must apply your logic to the situation and apply an improvised countermeasure that can adequately neutralize the situation. To put it simply: You need to fight fire with fire--only, in this case, if you were going up against a fire elementus, you should probably use water. "It sounds simple, but in a real fight it can be quite difficult to improvise an appropriate solution to a problem. Countercurses have no effect, so you must, instead, utilize an elemental spell that opposes the elementus in question. If they start throwing fireballs, put them out with fire. For other elements, it can be more complicated than that. There is no procedure with an absolute guaranteed chance of success. Countering elementium, it seems, shall remain a tricky business." Kemp turned to Rozalia. "Kondracs," he said, "Neither of us have the power of the elementium, but we're both experienced enough to emulate it to some degree. The spells we use can be countered by standard defensive procedure, but for the purpose of this demonstration, we cannot rely on those. I want you to come at me with an elemental spell of your choosing. Now, wands at the ready." With that, Kemp bowed to Rozalia, then raised his wand. |

Rozalia only half-listened to Kemp drone on about the elementium. She of course already knew all of this information, having been exposed to it by Azariah himself, but the children would have no idea the power of a true elementus. Over the years Roze had acquired a fair amount of knowledge about and experience in emulating elemental magic, particularly in fire. But she suspected that Kemp might anticipate her use of fire; it was the most commonly emulated form of elemental magic, at least in her experience. People seemed to think that fire was easy to control, easy to extinguish. But Rozalia could testify otherwise. The older Kondracs sister was much like a fire; there you saw it, crackling peacefully in the fireplace, looking as harmless as a pygmy puff. Then out of nowhere it could flare to life, ignite everything surrounding it in a matter of seconds, spreading chaos and unbridled destruction. Rozalia stepped back and drew her rosewood wand, gripping the polished ivory handle lightly. She bowed slightly to Kemp and raised her wand. Despite what she was about to do, she appeared calm. After all, the Masked Temptress was in her element here, no pun intended. Clearing her throat softly and pointed her wand and took a deep breath, focusing on the magic burning through her. Without warning she lunged slightly and stabbed her wand through the air. Thick, twisted branches of lightning burst forth from the tip of her wand and crackled in the air, lashing rapidly towards Kemp. For the dark haired woman time all but stood still. She watched in veiled fascination, observing Abraxas Kemp's face very closely. Was her afraid? Did her vicious lightning curse reveal just enough of her soul to inspire in him the kind of awestruck terror that had touched all of her victims? In an uncharacteristic moment of weakness, Roze let the flicker of a smile touch her crimson lips as she watched the lightning pour from her wand. Yes, she was certainly enjoying herself, but no one in that room knew just how much it delighted her. Her heart raced, her pupils dilated, the hair on the back of her neck stood up...the same electricity that charged the air around them charged her very existence, too; and all the while she kept a carefully controlled mask of calm on her deceptively innocent face. |

Beth returned her attention back to the front of the classroom in time to see the unknown woman's advances on Kemp. The Hufflepuff's brows furrowed as she gave Rozalia a cold glare, something rare to see on the girl's usually smiling face. Beth hated how some women used their beauty to get control over men. Even if she ever possessed such beauty, she found it terribly cheap and low to use it in this way. She didn't know if it was just her feeling, but she found she didn't like or trust that woman. "Did you see that?" she hissed towards Athena and Jack, glancing at them momentarily. She was glad to see Kemp didn't seem to buy Rozalia's game, or whatever it was. Beth listened intently as the Head of MLE explained about Elementium. Magical Concepts hadn't been her favorite subject, but she valued any information she could get in order to protect herself and others in future, especially against Azariah. She wished she could make notes, but her memory would have to do. When it came to physics, however, Beth's face lit up like a Christmas tree, but she quickly schooled her expression. She would have to learn to better control her excitement in future. At primary school it had been her favorite subject, and she sometimes missed not having it at Hogwarts as well. Kemp was about to demonstrate with the woman Beth already disliked. Now that was something she wouldn't miss for the world. It seemed everyone was holding their breath as the strikes of lightning escaped Rozalia's wand, and Beth quickly tried to think of a counter spell. The first thought that came up was that of a lightning conductor, but she didn't know how to make one. Dryly, Beth realized that if she took this long in an actual fight, she would be already dead. (OOC: Beth is up for grabs for the practice ^^) Edited by Beth Snape, Jan 14 2011, 10:51:47 AM.

It was the glint in Rozalia's eyes. Unbalanced and manic, it revealed a ruthlessness in the beautiful young woman which was the reason she was worth keeping around. Kemp had to be reminded once in a while why he did so. Even so, Kemp did not flinch at her eyes or at her lightning curse. He'd stared death in the face many times as an auror. Certainly now that he governed the free Wizarding World it would be any different. Kemp pointed his wand at the stone floor. Then, with a swift rising motion, brought up a section of the stone floor. A large metal rod materialized on top of the stone pillar, which absorbed the electrical bolt, acting as grounding to bring the electricity safely down to the ground. The stone pillar he'd raised, however, sparked and exploded, sending rock pieces everywhere. Claus raised his wand and silently summoned a shield to keep the rocks from hitting anyone as Kemp moved to stand in front of the smoking remains of the pillar. "As you can see," said Kemp, "I had no idea what Kondracs was going to do, and I had no ready-made method on how to deal with the spell she was casting. I had to improvise, and quickly. The only method for adequately defending against an elementus is to practice with as many elements as you can and find methods that work against them. So, that's what we're going to do: Everyone get up, take your wands out, and begin practicing with each other on casting and defending against elemental attacks. Don't use any countercurses or defensive spells unless you're absolutely stuck without a proper defense against the elemental spell being thrown at you. This is for practice against a power that is immune to defensive spells, so only use defensive spells as a last resort." He turned to Kondracs. Her facial expression seemed to return to normal. Was it just a trick of the light? "Thank you, Kondracs," he said, before turning and sitting down at his desk. He would monitor the students and step in if things got out of hand. John entered the meeting He scouted some of his friends, including Jack, Addie and Ginny. John watched Kemp with a view of awe, the man seemed to have been hardened by tough battles of the past. Battles John knew nothing about, but the toughness of Kemp was somewhat comforting to John, especially in what John believed to be the case of an upcoming war within the wizarding world, John knew that they needed more people like Kemp to stand up against the Knights of Walpurgis and defend Wizarding rights. John stepped forward and signed the contract without the same hessitation as Addie. John stepped beside Jack and noted that he was hitting on Athena Bellchambers, one of two Ravenclaw's in the meeting. John rolled his eyes at his friends. John watched the fight unfold and his eyes opened wide. The way Kemp defended himself made John very excited by the prospects of what he could learn under Kemp, figuring that if they were going to learn this sort of stuff in DADA under Kemp it would be a very interesting year. John nudged Jack in the back to alert him of John's presence. "Cool display, wasn't it" John said to Jack, knowing that Jack and John had both received the letter to go, but Jack had only chosen to come after John told him to. Jack listened intently as Kemp cleared his throat. The classroom quietened obediently, watching Kemp as they absorbed all the knowledge flowing out of his mouth. He had to avert his attention, reluctantly, from Athena to understand what Kemp was explaining to the rest of the class. A frown altered the tight thin line on his face, the elementus were rather a dangerous bunch from what Kemp portrayed them. You couldn't control or disperse the element expelled from an elementus. Logic was the key apparently, fight fire with water and all that. It sounded pretty easy, nodding to himself. "See what?" Jack quirked, glancing back at Beth who was near them. Her voice rang into his mind, bouncing off the walls as he replayed it over and over again. Shaking his head, he glanced back up at the front of the classroom. It was then when Kemp asked Kondracs to shoot an element spell at himself, he found how difficult it was. He watched with anticipation as Kondracs expelled lightening out of her wand, raking his brain quickly for an answer as if he was duelling her himself. Kemp rose part of the stone floor to shield himself from the up coming sallow bolts. He peered closer, narrowing his eyes as the stone absorbed the deadly electricity. A conductor, of course. "Water could of also worked. Shooting the water at Kondracs practically would of deflecting her spell back at herself," Jack muttered to himself, he made in a mental note in his mind to write it down later. "Spectacular," Jack smiled, turning back to John," Although it seems unfair that Mr Kemp is fighting a lady." He smirked at Kemp's instruction, he had been aching to give it a try. He turned back to his companions, he wondered to himself if his fast thinking would come in handy as it did when he played as Gryffindor's Keeper. "Any of you dazzling ladies want to partner up with moi? Oh and that includes you Johnny boy," Jack asked eagerly. Edited by Jack Desmount, Jan 15 2011, 07:57:38 AM.

'Well, Jack, your way of life is just very interesting that it's making me curious.' Athena commented. She then whispered to his ears. 'Probably you can make me less curious if we hang out more?' Athena didn't know if she was meaning for that to sound flirtatious; she just really wanted Jack Desmount in her life. Even just friends. Or whatever. She was just interested about Jack's existance. Athena pulled away and looked in front of her. Rather than listening to what little Kemp had said, Athena turned around to the familiar voice beside her. 'Beth!' she was surprised to see her friend. But of course, she was expecting her to be here. 'Where have you been? I've been waiting for you.' Athena, at that moment, was hating every second of that meeting. That woman, Kondracs, was so irresistably getting into Athena's nerves. What she didn't understand was why she was doing that. Ugh. Such an awful woman. Athena looked at Elle who was rather distracted of what had been happening in front of them. Athena hated how this Kondracs do her stuff; she was just annoying. Athena glanced at Elle and just smiled. Seeing Addie Lumineux talk to Kemp, Athena felt a pang of jealousy. Of course, Addie was the famous one; always been the one. Athena wasn't angry at her or anything. She more of like adored the girl. How brave she was in front of Kemp and that wench Kondracs... Addie Lumineux was one of the best role models at Hogwarts. Athena grinned at her way. Athena heard what Beth had just said. 'Crap. I did. Eew.' was all Athena could say. Yuck. Athena wanted to spew at what Kondracs was doing. She hated her guts. John arrived beside Jack. She rolled her eyes. Now John was going to steal Jack's attention from Athena. Jack was one of the person that was making this meeting interesting for her right now. Athena nudged Beth lightly. 'Guess who's here...' Athena shifted her eyes on John's direction. Why must he be here? 'And Jack, if you want to, I can be your partner. But seeing as your... friend's there, I don't really know if you would want to be with me.' But in a split second, Athena's attention was caught by Kemp's words. Elementium, Azariah... It all went into Athena's head like a flash. Her eyes focused on all the things that Kemp was doing. Athena would make sure she would be one of the best at this Academy. OOC: Sory I've been away

'Probably you can make me less curious if we hang out more?' The corner of Jack's lips curved deviously, the offer sounded rather suggestive - well she was talking to him. The temptation to violate a fellow Gryffindor's lover was undeniably strong and he would of gone for it if not for his high morals. That and he'd rather have less jealous boyfriends on his back. "Oh but you don't want to give the wrong impression to your beau now do you?" Jack purred back, still feeling the intoxicating tingle on his ear. "I'm sure Mr Holland can live a few moments without me by side," Jack grinned, glancing at John to see if he showed any objection to this. But the thought that he'd have his ass kicked by someone with the exceptional skills that John possessed turned him off. So he turned back to Athena with a polite smile," I'm game if you are." 'Well my beau, if that's what you prefer to call him, is a very perfect and loving guy. But recently... I've been observing that he's been checking out this Cassandra McKinney girl. And so, he's not so perfect anymore. And as for me and you hanging out, I think I won't really care how it would give my boyfriend the wrong impression. She had her Cassandra thing, and if he gets jealous, I don't care. At least he will realise that we're fair and square.' Athena whispered. She didn't want to elaborate the whole William-Cassandra thing. Jack is a guy that Athena would only go for. If only he saw her the same way as she did. 'Of course, Jack. This is going to be the start of us hanging out.' She winked at him. Athena glanced at John and she was so annoyed at him. For no apparent reason; he was just annoying. Athena stood closer to Jack. She would not let anyone distract her with this Jack escapade. She needed to focus. On the Academy; on Jack. Athena realised now about the whole thing with Will: She needed to stop loving him. |

Jack merely gave a flat smile as Athena whispered back in his ear. "Quite the predicament you have there," Jack mused, looking up at the ceiling as if her were actually thinking about it. He returned back to Athena is a smirk across his face," As long as lips aren't locked then I'm all for hanging out. I don't fancy having William burn a hole into my back if things got... further." In the past, he was heartless and hooked up any girl he caught his eye even if they had a boyfriend or lover. This year, things were going to be different. Chivalry was going to be displayed. Plus he didn't want to be like Tudor, hitting on two girls that already had guys shooting for them. The bloody idiot. "Very well then Bellchambers," Jack smirked, revealing his wand from his pockets and playing with it in his hands. He wasn't invited to the Junior Auror Academy by Kemp for nothing. Licking his lips he said,"Please, I insist... ladies first." |

Athena nodded. 'I'm sure it's not going to go beyond that.' Of course Jack knew what Athena meant. But in Athena's mind, she was a bit frustrated of how Jack wouldn't want anything like that with her. She wanted him so bad. Since the day she saw him, he was what she was aiming for. But now that she didn't wait for the chance to meet him, everything got so complicated. She smiled her way through. 'You really surprise me of what you do, Jack.' 'Ok, I'll go ahead then.' Athena relaxly said. Then all of a sudden, she took out her wand and shouted, 'Incendio!' Even though Athena loved being with Jack, she still wanted to be in the Academy. Even if that was Beth; Athena would show no mercy. This was what she needed to do. She focused her attention to her spell. She just hoped Jack would be alart enough so he wouldn;t get hurt. If he did, Athena would blame it all to herself. |
