Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

He was dressed warmly in a black pea coat with a black and white scarf wrapped around his neck. He hated the cold, so his hands warmly hid in his pockets and he buried as much of his face into his scar as he could. He leaned against a tree at the very edge of the forest looking back at the castle. He watched patiently for Cory and Kayla to show up as they had planned. Aiden had been able to slip Kayla a note in the hall after lunch and hopefully she'd read it by now. "Show up soon...PLEASE!" He thought to himself as he observed the surrounding area. The Forbidden Forrest stood a couple hundred yards from the school and was black with browns, reds, and oranges of the falling leaves. He felt somewhat awkward being alone. There were students hanging about on the grounds, probably because they had the period off. Aiden unfortunately didn't have this luxury; he had signed up for divination this period and hopefully no teacher would notice he was skipping class. The sixth year tried to remain natural as to not draw attention to himself, but was becoming anxious waiting on his friends. Edited by Terry Boot, Dec 30 2010, 03:59:32 PM.

Posts: 30 Group: Ravenclaw Member #1,615 Joined: Nov 2 2010 Age 15	Corey skipped out onto the grounds. She took a breath of the fresh clean air as she spotted Aiden. She smiled and headed toward him. Being a bit late, she hoped he wasn't too mad as her. She went to change into non-uniform clothes after her embarrassing incident she had in the Great Hall. Her Ravenclaw scarf waved in the wind, but didn't escape since it was wrapped snuggly around her neck. Her mittens were the same color as her blue Converse. Her plaid coat looked nice and warm. As she approached Aiden, her smile brightened. "Ready for an adventure?"

She was only a few minutes late so he could forgive her. He stood back up from leaning on the tree as she spoke. After grinning slightly he replied excitedly: "Of course! Hopefully, nothing will grab us while we're in there, or a teacher catch us otherwise it may a trip straight to the headmistress!" Aiden had always feared getting in trouble, but the thrill of breaking the rules was exhilarating. He looked about once more for Kayla, but she still hadn't showed up. "Have you seen Kayla?" he asked, "I haven't seen her since just after lunch."

Posts: 30 Group: Ravenclaw Member #1,615 Joined: Nov 2 2010 Age 15	The wind blew Corey's hair into her eyes, and she had to keep pushing it out of the way so she could see Aiden. Sometimes she thought it was just too much trouble to have long hair and that she could just chop it all off and wouldn't have to worry about it. Somewhere deep down, she knew that she would miss it. The thought of an unknown something inside the forrest gave Corey the creeps. She looked past Aiden into the somewhat dark and scary forrest. She suddenly was kind of scared, but she had made her mind up that she would not change her mind. She just needed not to think about it. Corey went to the left side of Aiden and leaned against the tree that he had just been on. It strangely felt a bit safer. "I doubt we will get caught. All the teachers are inside teaching, for the most part."She shrugged looking at the castle for any sing of teachers or Kayla. "I haven't either."

After a moment of nothing, Aiden about faced and walked back to Corey. He was growing impatient and began fidgeting with his hands. Aiden gazed longingly into the forest, squared his shoulders and turned to Corey. "Let's go in. Kayla can catch up with us right?" Aiden spoke then blew on his hands to warm them, "She won't be too mad at us right?" Aiden was beginning to act like an excited child. He paced back and forth, as if he were waiting to go into a really fun arcade or something and the waiting was killing him. He then looked almost pleadingly into Corey's eyes again, awaiting her confirmation to go in the forest.
