Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Muggle Studies Professor Posts: 20 Group: Professor Member #1,469 Joined: May 25 2010 Character Age 25 RP Relationship Status single but afraid to look RP Location alone	Daniela entered the empty classroom. Her first lesson at Hogwarts. Right. Not to mention it wasn't even her subject - she was substituting for another class. Divination was never her best subject back in Hogwarts (this had to be by fate) but today's subject should be easy. Diaries were always easy. She took a seat at the unused desk in front of the room. Students would be filing in any second. Hopefully, she didn't get a lot of snobby Slytherins that would make her job hard. No, you signed up for it. Deal with it.

He looked around, this time he was the first student in the classroom which was hardly the case anymore, with Charlotte's neglect to her turtle. Ever since she had been bought her dearest turtle, Sebastian was instantly appointed the turtle feeder. It didn't mind him at all, he'd do anything for family. Seb pondered for a while, before taking a seat in the middle room, dropping his book quietly on the desk. He crossed his legs on the chair and leaned back with content, closing his eyes. When he had flickered them open, he had expected a proud centaur at the front of the classroom. But this wasn't the case. The female figure almost gave Sebastian a scare when he nearly fell off the chair. She wasn't really recognisable, and she was in the place Banni should of been. A substitute maybe. Sebastian shrugged and smiled and waved a hello at the new teacher. "Hey there professor," Sebastian chirped cheerfully," You must be filling in for Banni, I'm Sebastian Mercury."

I think >.< RP Location N/A	Francis walked into the room, his precious bag close to his side as he glanced around the almost empty room. He looked forward seeing the teacher, it wasn't the usual teacher. He watched her closely, before walking forward once more picking up his pace as he saw another boy sat in the middle. They were the only ones in the room and the middle was the best place to sit. He walked down to where the fellow Ravenclaw was before sitting down next to him and putting his bag on the table. He quickly glanced to the boy, sending a small smile. Turning back to his bag, he got out his books and pens hoping his sketchpad would not fall out. Placing his bag on the floor, he looked back to the boy for a moment. It would be rude not to say hello, would it not? "Hey" A quick hello will do justice. He glanced towards the window, watching the owls fly past and the trees swiftly moving in the cool breeze. He loved Autumn.

Well at the moment anyway. She smiled at the entering students, even though they didn't even bother to glance at her. A particular student was kind enough to even speak to her. She smiled wider. "Hello, hello." Daniela tried to play it off coolly. She wondered how the students would react to her being there. How were they with Banni? Were they going to give her a hard time? Ugh, grow a back one, Danni. She folded her hands neatly on top of each other. "Yes I am. Banni seems to be ... missing, at the time being." Her chocolate eyes fell to the floor. "Nice to meet you, Sebastian. I'm Professor Castro."

Company was sincerely welcome. Seb turned in front of him as he fiddled with the desk with a bored expression, he could hear the Ravenclaw sit next to him. He turned and smiled in his usual cheerful expression. "Huullooo," Sebby extended the word as he greeted him. Obviously he recognised him, as the boy probably lived with him for at least six years now. But Sebastian wasn't that all good with names," Frank is it? Sorry if I got your name wrong. It's Sebastian." Looking up to the desk, the professor spoke rather casually. Sebastian smiled back, acknowledging her welcome. "Mmm, I thought the MLE gave his job again. Or do you mean he's gone AWOL?" Sebastian asked curiously. He wanted to see the centaur again, not that he didn't like her presence, it was just that he felt like asking him about the hassle he had to go through with the MLE. Ugh the MLE. "Oh and nice to meet you too Professor Castro. So if you're just filling in for Banni, what do you teach?"

He knew his name as he had just said it to him, otherwise Francis would have to try hard to remember him. Watching him for a minute, he smiled and nodded to the boy and smiling a little wider. "Yeah, please to meet you Seb" He nodded towards the boy, then looked back out the window. It was just like the great hall, full of bright light that bounced off objects creating shadows all over the room. He rested his elbow on the table, purching his head on his head as his eyes kept locked with the window. He slowly drifted off into his normal day dream state, he wondered how on earth the teachers would put up with him. And his friends. As things suddenly went back into focus, he shook his head slightly turning to the teacher and glancing around. Had the room been this full up when I first looked at the window?

Location Hoggy Warty Warts	Jasmine entered the Divination classroom, a slight look of surprise shown in her face when she realized Banni wasn't there, but rather, they had a replacement. Not that she minded, because it meant they would probably be doing something easy like tea cups or journals or something. Honestly, Jasmine had never liked the class but she since she had missed Defence Against the Dark Arts that morning, she felt like she had to take it. The girl took a seat at an empty table, her eyes scanning the room. There was Sebastian, who she obviously knew, and there was another boy who she just couldn't quite put a name to. "Hiya, Seb," she said, the rest of her sentence hanging in the air as if she wanted to greet the other boy too, but wasn't quit sure how.

Seventh Year Posts: 172 Group: Ravenclaw Member #1,607 Joined: Oct 15 2010	Brynn Barrett entered the Divination classroom still considering the words that had been spoken between her and Emirye. Her thoughts then drifted back to that eventful morning. Henry was still on her mind, despite everything that had happened. She was mad at him and yet she wanted to see him and talk to him. It was an odd mixture of hate and longing. She offered Professor Castro a smile as she entered before taking a seat in the middle of the room. It seemed the only people in the classroom were Ravenclaws and Brynn wasn't exactly surprised at this. She spotted Sebastian and waved at him before sitting down and getting out her books, preparing for class.

He didn't want to be rude and interrupt his thought so Seb stayed quiet, playing with the hemline of his school sweater. Now where were his beloved sisters? He thought that they were taking Divinations, well he thought wrong. Oh well, at least he could maybe...oh no wait, there wasn't anything to do. Just waiting for a couple of student to come into Divinations so he could strike up a conversation and get rid of his boredom. Until then, Sebastian looked down as he played with his sweater. A voice spoke, a familiar voice Seb noted as he looked to where the sound had come from. "Hiya Jas," Sebby beamed as finally another student came to join the class. Now there were four people in Divinations, well at least it's one unit above three. "Brynn!" Seb exclaimed with a grin pasted across his face, responding to her wave. "What. Is. Up. Girls?" Sebastian asked, chortling to himself as he looked at the two Ravenclaws.

Rosalina entered the Divination classroom, carefully admiring the room. It had been a while since she last came here, and the excitement of the class was building inside of her. The girl blinked several times, noticing Bannishtar wasn't present. Ah, well. She wouldn't let that tiny detail ruin one of her favourite classes. Rosie waved at the Professor, her typically happy "Hi" enough to get the moods of anybody up. She proceeded to sit down, calmly, and wait for people to appear. She had no idea of who would be taking divination (she knew that many students thought it was a "stupid" class), but hopefully she would find someone. Rose was positive she would.

RP Location Charms	Janice entered the Divination classroom after a very tiring journey from the dormitories. She got lost and everything but found her way to the classroom. After all, she was new in Hogwarts. New meant she was a loser. No friends, no cliques, no boyfriends, no flings, no nothing. It was weird for Janice to be new as she was always the one establishing groups being the center of attention anywhere she went. But right now, this job could be harder for Janice Fairchild. As she stepped in, her pair of Prada high heels clanked as she walked to find a seat. Looking around, she found this room as insanely ugly. Like, really ugly. She was disgusted, even being in it. Oh well, she could survive. Studemts talked. One student, who was a guy; Janice was pressuming he was in Ravenclaw. He talked to the teacher like they were friends. It was good that some people here were nice to each other. Janice hated it but at the same time liking it as she had never been in an environment like this. All she was fitting in were in parties, fashion shows, etc. Janice sat down and heard the Ravenclaw guy said the name frank. Who was Frank? Janice assumed that Frank was the other guy. Great. He was hot and cute. Janice could take him as a sex toy. But... Meh. She couldn't be bothered to talk right now unless someone talked to her.

I think >.< RP Location N/A	Francis looked around the room realising there were a lot more students in here than before, he also realised that him and Sebastian were the only males in the room. Not that he had a problem with it, he didn't mind that at all he just wondered why this was more popular among females than males. Looking around the room once more, he smiled to each person. He reconised some of them when Sebastian said their names, but others he wasn't sure about. One of the girls had dark hair, it was pretty long and was dead straight. She looked like a nice girl, not one of the usual ones which could sometimes scare Francis; she had a Hufflepuff badge. That would have explained why he may not have known her, he was friends with more people in his house rather than the others. He looked over to the other girl seeing a Slytherin Badge, that would explain even more why he didn't reconise or know this girl. He didn't have any friends in Slytherin, he wasn't use to talking to them since he zoned out so much he expected them to get mad and ignore him back. He noticed she had looked at him a moment ago, he smiled and waved to her hoping she wouldn't scoff him and look away.

She wondered briefly as to where the regular professor was before being greeted excitedly by her friend Sebastian. She crossed her legs and placed her hands on the table, offering him a bright smile. "Sebby!" she exclaimed in response. Brynn was only this way with a few certain people and Sebastian was one of them. She wasn't particularly fond of the other girl in the room though, and said nothing to her. Sebastian was friends with a lot of different people, including Jasmine, and Brynn was okay with that but she didn't put the effort forth to be friendly to the girl. "Nothing new really, what about you Sir?" Brynn responded as she flipped through the pages of her Divination book. She recalled that Jasmine had been in the common room earlier when her and Emirye had been talking. She wondered if she had heard anything they had said. That would require for the unnatural redhead to actual care what Brynn said and that was highly unlikely in and of itself. Brynn herself hadn't cared enough to eavesdrop on Jasmine and Athena's conversation. Athena Brynn could tolerate and the two actually got along fairly well. Jasmine on the other hand, Brynn didn't care for at all.

Andre walked in to Divination and looked around, there was not a lot of people in the classroom. He looked nervously hoping therre would be some one he knew, but all he could see were Hufflepuff,Ravenclaw and the odd Slytherin students. Andre's heart sank at the shock but then thought after a few minutes. "Maybe, this lesson will be alright". He said with a smile, but the truth was he didn't know that many people. He walked cautiously over to the table which had the most people, Ravenclaws. Andre looked up and said with a cheerful tone. Maybe it was his cheerful tone when she was so clearly not in a cheery mood. She looked up offering the Gryffindor an indifferent expression. People usually smiled warmly and bid a person to sit down wherever they wanted, but that just wasn't in Brynn's nature. "Do whatever you please," she instructed coldly, leaning back in her chair and crossing her arms delicately over her chest. If he sat by her it would only add to her annoyance, though the seat next to her was free as usual. Brynn always came off as cold at first and eventually some people she warmed up to. More often than not, she remained cold towards people. Whether she liked this about herself or not, it was the truth. The way Brynn viewed it the truth about herself couldn't be changed after so many years of acting the same way.

Sebby didn't do much during lunch, except met Sylvia's 'boyfriend', Nate, and let them argue amongst themselves whilst he was talking to a bunch of first years near them. Seb was friends with everyone, he didn't see the negative traits people have but look at the positive in them. Which somewhat could be a bad thing, since he's naivety could land him in big trouble. Sebastian watched as a Gryffindor made his way towards the sea of blue. As far as he could see, there weren't any Gryffindors a part from him. "Not at all, come and take a seat," Seb grinned back, hoping that his words softened the impact Brynn's coldness it may have. He didn't really mind Brynn's cold exterior towards people because he knew that she was a warm person on the inside despite everything. "Now, I'm curious, what is everyone wearing at the Halloween feast?" Sebastian inquired curiously.

He turned and said softly. "Hi. I'm Andre, and you are?". Andre thought for a moment if this was the right way he should ask a question. He looked at the girl who then he heard say "Do whatever you please,". Andre knew this time that he should of kept quiet, he looked around and suddenly said "I'm sorry guys". Even though, he didn't even know what he was apologising for making him look more and more like an idiot. Andre knew he shouldn't speak the truth too much but thats how he is. He then heard the boy who had said not at all, come and take a seat finally asked. "Now, I'm curious, what is everyone wearing at the Halloween feast?". Andre looked around and then spoke up. "Events like Halloween, I don't really celebrate, only christmas or birthdays".. RP Location Charms	The Frank guy waved and smiled at her. Oh. My Gosh. His smile was so cute! Janice was wondering why he even tried to interact with her. Didn't he see? She was a Slytherin. And she was Leighton's cousin. Well, of course, some people didn't know that yet. Looking around, she noticed she was the only Slytherin in the class. She cursed under her breath and looked at the Frank guy again. Janice thought that probably she should just smile at him. So she did then shifted her gaze on her table. Hopefully no one would know or no one noticed about that smile other than Frank. Janice was sitting like a dumbass in this stupid class. Why did she enter anyway? She should've just left and ignore everyone. Oh well, she felt like a new Slytherin loser. Great.

"Hello, Professor. she said softly as she made her way to her seat then sat down quietly looking around at the other classmates that were within the room already. She settled in her set setting her books down quietly as she leans back in her chair pushing a few strands of her raven black hair behind her ear. She smiled lightly to herself as she waited for class to start moving her eyes to the door to watch for anyone else that entered, watching the door curiously with a small smile tugging at her pale lips. She gazed off for a moment looking through the room before moving her eyes back to the door, waiting patiently and rather boredly for the moment.

He glanced around the table hearing Sebastain and he couldn't help but grin wide. He loved Halloween, he still had his old costume somewhere which he could wear. "I think i'm going to just splat paint all over myself and be a Canvas... Or a tree if that fails" He smiled to the others, taking his sketchbook out his bag quickly and going to the last page jotting down what he just said so he wouldn't forget like he usually did. Throwing it back into his bag, he glanced over to the other girl keeping the smile on his lips as he watched her. He couldn't see which house she was in, but it wasn't like that mattered right? He slowly got up from his seat placing his bag on the seat to make sure no one would sit down there, he walked over to the girl standing above her, the smile still on his lips. He didn't like to see people left out. "You wanna come and sit by us? Or I can come sit by you, unless your waiting for someone?" He didn't want to see too forward, he just wanted to make sure she wasn't going to be alone the whole class.
