Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Firenza Kondracs
Member Avatar
Sixth Year

General Information:
Full name: Firenza Roxzanne Kondracs
Nickname(s): Fee, a shortening of Firenza, but that's the only nickname she will allow. Someone once tried to call her Fifi and...well, it ended badly.
Pronunciation: Fee-wren-zuh Con-drach
Gender: Female
Birthdate: November 10
Age: 16
Year: Sixth Year.
Blood: The Kondracs are a very small family of mostly pure blood. Though they make no claims of being fully pure blooded, they are probably one of the few families that actually come remotely close to being untainted. They are proud of their lineage, but not snobby like most other "purebloods".

Wand: 9 3/4 inches, Walnut, Runespoor fang
Preferred House: Slytherin

Appearance/Physical Description
"You haunt my dreams," Firenza's grandmother always says to her, and a haunting girl she certainly is. Firenza is tall, around 5'7 1/2", and willowy, definitely waif-like. She carries her height proudly, never slumping or slouching, but certainly never strutting. Her porcelain skin provides a stark contrast to her dark, nearly black features. Her hair falls in messy, raven curls to the middle of her back; her eyes--slightly too large for her oval face--are the same almost black color, framed by thick black lashes and shadowy lids. She keeps her eyebrows neatly groomed and arched, adding to the large appearance of her eyes. Her full plump lips are naturally very pale, like her skin, but she can most often be found wearing a red or pink-toned lipstick to lessen her ghostly appearance.

When Fee isn't wearing her robes she can usually be found in an array of eclectic clothing. Her wardrobe varies from long, billowing dresses to skinny jeans and fluttery tops. She is an offbeat girl with quirky tastes, not to be undermined by her status as a Slytherin. Her funky clothes are all top-notch designers, just not classic Chanel or Prada; she tends to stick to Chelsea and Violet or Betsey Johnson.

Personality:
Firenza's personality is every bit as offbeat and haunting as her appearance. She's an introspective person, often quiet and serene, but she seeks out company of a very select few. She tends to be very critical and judgmental of others, as well as herself. She's not quite the typical Slytherin girl, though she possess crucial Slytherin qualities. She is fiercely ambitious and has been raised to support Azariah and his cause.

Fee is not a fan of drama. She speaks her mind, regardless of the consequences, but will evade the slightest hint of any resulting ruckus. She has an unintentional habit of stirring up a class or a group of people and then quickly disappearing. Notably, sometimes just her presence alone tends to put people on edge. Perhaps it's her large, penetrating eyes, or just the floating way she carries herself, but something about her chills some of her more cheerful peers. Firenza almost has Dementor-like qualities. She's not necessarily an unhappy person, but when she enters a room, her unflappable calm can often be misinterpreted as gloom or depression, leading people to feel the same way.

When one can get past Fee's chilly exterior, they find a trustworthy friend and a deeply pensive soul. Though her opinions are often supported only by fellow Slytherins, she has been known to befriend the odd Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, for she has no house biases. If one can prove themselves worthy and intelligent, she is willing to allow them to try being her friend. Alas, intelligence is a crucial matter for Miss Kondracs. She is a natural at DADA and Charms, and though she struggles more with her other subjects, she is still considered a very sharp witch. Her worst subject is Transfiguration, though with no ambition of becoming an Auror, she doesn't mind so much. In fact, Firenza's greatest ambition is to serve Azariah in whatever way she can. Her intention is to go on to be employed by the Ministry of Magic in order to pass him or his successor whatever information she can.

History:
The Kondracs family tree is a lengthy, but uncomplicated one. The Kondracs were one of the first generation wizarding families, starting with the first Kolos Kondracs. He married a Muggle woman and had two sons, Andor and Marcell. Both sons went on to marry witches of elevated blood status and bore their own sons. Andor and his wife, Serafina, gave birth to the second Kolos Kondracs who followed in his father's footsteps and married a witch he had met in school. Their line continued with two sons and a daughter. The eldest son, Lorant, died in a mysterious accident, but the second son, Matyas, married and sired the second Marcell Kondracs. The line went on for several more generations, every Kondracs man fathering at least one son until the third Kolos Kondracs, Firenza's father.

Kolos III and his wife, Molly, have a somewhat odd history. Molly, an Irish witch of a supposedly pure-blooded family, met Kolos on a summer trip to Hungary where Kolos was taking care of his dying father. Molly was 18 and Kolos was 24, but that didn't stop their blossoming romance. It was a dark romance, one that only two very loyal dark wizards could create. At the end of the summer the two discovered that Molly was pregnant. A hasty marriage ensued, culminating with their first daughter, Sabine. After the birth of Sabine, a red haired, dark eyed Irish-Hungarian, the couple began to become disenchanted with each other. Their premature love affair had been a bad decision, but neither were willing to end it with a divorce.

Six years later, they decided that perhaps they should try to have another child, hoping it would bring them some sense of the happiness they had once known. Two years later, Firenza was born into a family that was rapidly disintegrating. Shortly after Fee's eighth birthday, her parents divorced. This was when she began to show signs of being magical. In fact, one instance in particular stood out in everyone's mind. A divorce counselor was attempting to talk to Firenza--vastly introspective even at such a young age--and made the mistake of calling her "Fifi". Firenza, none too pleased by this ridiculous pet name, yelled at the woman to never call her that again. Just as the enraged little girl was about to storm out of the room, the poor counselor's hair turned an obscene shade of fuschia. Her mother, being employed by the Ministry, promptly modified the woman's memory and dragged Fee out of the office.

Several years went by uneventfully, until the year of Firenza's twelfth birthday. She was spending Christmas with her father that year, and when she came home from the small wizarding school she had been attending somewhere in the south of Scandinavia, she found an unexpected Christmas present from her father: a blushing bride of a stepmother. It wasn't that Addison wasn't nice as could be to Firenza, but the young girl resented having her mother replaced. It was then decided that Fee would live with her mother permanently and the two would move to the south of Ireland, enabling Firenza and Sabine to transfer to Hogwarts.

Family:
Mother: Molly O'Hara-Kondracs
Father: Kolos Kondracs III
Older Sister: Rozalia Kondracs
Step-Mother: Addison Kondracs
Half-Brother: Kolos Kondracs IV
Pet(s): One small tawny owl named Rugby.
Possessions: Nimbus 2000, a small collection of odd dark arts defense mechanisms (think Mad-Eye Moody stuff).
