Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Member #1,443 Joined: Apr 19 2010	I've already sent out some PMs to the owners of characters that seemed interested in a Junior Auror Academy, but just in case some other parties might be interested after hearing what its for, I've created this thread for all plotting concerning the Junior Auror Academy: Basically, it would be an RPing opportunity and a chance to be involved in overall plot for the year in some way. Kemp will start the Academy as open for all students to begin early training. It will be done at Hogwarts. Now, as for the plot, it will greatly involve these students in that they will be the ones closest to Kemp, and they will be the first witnesses to his degenerating practical sense and his increasing paranoia. I know most students probably distrust the MLE, but here's the thing: You don't have to be evil to be involved. Kemp and the MLE aren't even necessarily evil, but will do many more increasingly evil things as they become more paranoid. There WILL be an opportunity, if you wish, to be involved in a sort of thing similar to the Inquisitorial Squad in HP5 in that Kemp will ask some trusted students from the Academy to sneak around and rat out subversives (much like Umbridge did in HP5) but you don't have to be involved in that in any way, even if you choose to be part of the Jr. Auror Academy. However, Kemp will still feel like you are one of his trusted few at Hogwarts, and, as such, you'll know more about what is going on with him and the MLE than other students. Reasons for joining could be varied and vary between each student. Perhaps you're simply naive about the MLE, and think they they're a basically good organization (even if you have your doubts), only to be shocked when they begin doing terrible things. Or perhaps you're just in it for the training? Or you're afraid of Amaranth and want to protect yourself by learning from the MLE or simply by aligning yourself with this powerful organization? Or maybe you really do want a taste of the power? Any other reasons you may have? All up to you, as is what you do once you're in the organization (if you choose to be involved) and when you discover what's going on. I'm open to any plots those involved want to make out of or tie into this. If you're interested, post in this thread. The MLE is pretty eager to bring a level of influence on the new generation (as they believe their way is the right way), and so may even make special exceptions for those students whose grades or OWLs do not meet the normal requirements for admittance into the regular 4 year Auror Academy.

The academy would be able to bring a previously unknown side of her out, the side of her that is trully interested about something and is willing to be a part of it. Additionally, she'd love to feel the power and know she is an important person around the school. Even though her grades don't meet the normal requirements, she would be very ambitious towards joining, and would do anything to get what she wants. Plus, I need some plots for Chloe and this just seems so awesome

At first, I think she would join Kemp's Inquisitorial Squad, but slowly start to realize the rules are getting ridiculous when she gets to know everybody and the professors. She'd join because she wants to believe Kemp really wants to change the ways of MLE, and feels that he isn't a bad man. She'd doesn't want power or anything, but wants to make a difference in what's happening at Hogwarts and with Azariah. If she gets a task that she knows is wrong, she'd try to find a way around it, or maybe even secretly warn someone. She'd still want to say, though, because she'd make more good knowing what's going on. Beth may be a Huffie, but she's also got some Snape's blood flowing in her veins, lol.
