I know this has taken forever. because I can get lazy. (also, I know this app sucks. BUT I have major writer's block right now, and can't think of good sentence variation. Anyone who has roleplayed with me knows I don't usually suck...)

Name: Amera Lori Percy
Requested Ability: Lycanthropy
Ability Specifics: Transition from human to werewolf during the full moon. Happens only when exposed to said moon's light. So, transition can be avoided - but is nearly impossible. Amera is drawn to the moon during her 'cycle', and experiences many ailments when she does not transition. Including, but not limited to: so called "moon thoughts" - her mind becomes passionately obsessed with moonlight. She has urges to go outside, and it is hard to think of anything else. Also, she begins to crave meat up to a few days before her transition. This also takes over her mind, and she won't eat anything else.; Extreme Hunger: As said before, abnormal craving of all types of meat. Nothing she can control. Nothing seems to fill her, and up to the transition - she is painfully hungry.; Mental pain caused by not transitioning, including: the burning of her skin, caused by it's craving of moonlight to change. The magical elements within her cause her body to torture her into submission, so it can be released. As well as the aching of her inner beast wanting to emerge. Amera suffers pain in her teeth, legs, and back before a transition - because the magic is preparing itself for transition into her monster.

When transition occurs, Amera sprouts auburn fur - close to her actual hair color. Her blue eyes darken, and grow wolfish. Her entire body becomes a large, hairy, monster in which she cannot control. A werewolf is carnivorous by nature, and holds a lot of spite - so Amera's teeth become very sharp. Her already large mouth becomes one of a wolf, ready to kill her or transition her unfortunate prey.

The few times Amera has transitioned so far, she has killed muggles. Their authorities passed each murder off as wild wolves.

Plot Reasons: ---
Amera acquired Lycanthropy in Ireland over the summer. Not realizing the risks, and being very curious about animals - she went wandering through an isolated woods a broomstick ride away from a cousin's house. There, she began tracking wild rabbits through the woodland - trying to record there niche and the type of community the forest really was. This process took a good portion of the day, and Amera grew weary from her hardwork. Since she didn't want to fly back on her clunky broom so late at night, she decided it was easier to find a clearing and pitch a tent. Afterall, she had her wand on her - if something were to go wrong, such as a straying muggle - she could defend herself. The ministry in Ireland was rather loose on protection laws, anyways.

With her wand as a protection, she pitched the tent from some loose supplies she had packed in her backpack. The Percy's were rather used to her adventures, so they didn't think much of her disappearing that night. Amera always turned up in the morning. There was a full moon that night. Amera was in summer mode, and didn't pay attention to the significance of this.

So, she ate a packed dinner of vegetables and finished recording the data of the day. However, before she got to the conclusion - she felt full and fell asleep with the flashlight on and on top of her sleeping bag. The tent was partially unzipped.

Odd thing about this forest, though. It wasn't just a shelter for animals. In fact, a few nomadic werewolves had traveled into for safety purposes as well. They generally isolated themselves in wildlife during transition season, because they were victims of purposeful attacks. Mainly, this small group of wolves had parents who angered hidden Irish beasts. Either through magical debt or opinion. Obviously, not every witch or wizard is the good guy- and a few had banded together within the Irish borders as a gang.

The point is, these nomadic werewolves were victims of this gang. They never intended for a human to be in the forest, so they had hidden themselves there in hopes it's isolation would protect lives. Instead, they generally destroyed caves and wildlife. In the case they do whiff human flesh, they cannot help but attack. It's in there, (and Amera's) nature. It's normal for the victim to die after an attack.

This group came across Amera during their transition, and regrettably - and uncontrollably, attacked. They maintained some control over the attack, since they did not willingly kill. Just from instincts. They fled the scene, and spent the rest of the night chewing there way through the rabbits - leaving Amera for dead.

Amera didn't die though, instead - she became one of them. Not that night, that night - the magic seeped into her veins and began to rewire her mind. She was to return to home, with a story of a vicious wolf. Tastebuds switched from veggies to meat, and she was unaware of her new state. That is, until her first transition. Amera attacked a muggle village a few miles from her home, killing two of the elderly. With her meal, she disappeared for the rest of the night into a nearby woodland.

Throughout the rest of the summer, she learned about her new ability. Unable to control it, she hid it and fled during full moons. This led into her sixth year of Hogwart's. Nobody knew about the problem, as she would escape deep into the forest. It would be a while before she revealed this problem to anyone, who she wore to secrecy.

It would consume her as well, and many of her conversation (especially with Alistair York) would be of meat and animals. People didn't think much of it, other than the fact it was a miracle she wasn't fat.

Sara Walsh will find out about this problem, and use it to her advantage. Possibly through the imperius curse, or something similar. Amera will be set on students, as the evil werewolf gang once did to her maker. Finally, she will be in the final battle of Hogwart's. The ability will increase as she learns to control it: Strength, endurance, and tracking. She'll be half human/half monster. In the battle, she will be forced to attack students in her human form, before trying to fight the curse. She'll escape and hide in the forest, away from the innocent. A mental battle will ensue, causing her to lose once simple innocence. She'll hide for the rest of the battle, before admitting herself to the authorities/victorious. Once she is registered and free, she will find a maker of wolfsbang, and begin to control the problem. After that, she'll live a somewhat normal life. She'll have to be self-employed as a chef, because many workplaces won't hire murderers, even unintentional ones. Though she opens up a very popular all meat cuisine, she secretly hates what she has done.

Amera will deal with self-hatred and denial all her life. It will cause her to be a bit bitter towards the end of her life.

(I have not written the end of her life, understandably. It is situation based)

Reasons You Should Be Granted This Ability: Well, it makes sense with what I have roleplayed so far with Amera. She is an avid animal lover, and meat lover. I have set this up already. I'm going to make this section short, and just get to the point. I want this ability for several clear reasons. One - I am a very active roleplayer, and want to do something different. Amera's ability will keep my posts fresh and interesting in the years to come. It is different than my other characters. Two - I would like to be more heavily involved with the plot. A threat outside of the Knights would be a different type of twist. I think it would have good reception. Three- this ability makes complete sense with Amera. It will help with her character development as well. It wouldn't be surprising for the carnivorous, animal loving red-head to be stupid and get attacked. As well as being manipulated easily from shame of the murders she has performed in the past. Simply, it's her worst enemy, yet so much apart of her. It's simply a twist, and a cruel one.
