| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. John stepped off the train onto the platform at Hogsmeade. John looked around and took in the scenery, it was almost surreal to be back at Hogwarts again. Looking around the platform, John only recognized Carter, the boy from the compartment. John continued to look around, he spotted Daniela talking with quiet an attractive girl that looked the same age. John didn't recognize this girl, but regardless, turning to see Carter's face once again, John decided it was time to move on to the carriages. John made his way to the carriages. |

Finally. Samantha exclaimed in her mind as someone did actually approach her. She felt content enough that it had been Winnie who drew near to her and figured she had more courage than she had anyway. Samantha had been quite lousy on her social skills and struggled to improve it over the years. She was naturally shy ever since she was little, always reading books or writing stories, but she did notice the change in her when she started to go to school, no matter how little of a change it was. Aware that Winnie spotted her, she reciprocated the smile and added a little wave into it. She listened closely as Winnie tried her best to speak in a manner that she would hear clearly. Her eyes followed to look at the carriages that would be their transportation as Winnie had pointed out. "I suppose so.." She replied rather coolly, keeping her voice calm. "Uhm, no, not really. A walk with you would be fine." Samantha painted a smile on her face and motion for them to start walking. "Let's.." |

Winnie felt a great sense of relief when Samantha said she would walk with her. Maybe she had a slight fear of rejection, in her lifetime she had always only seemed to be rejected by people, namely her father because she wasn't anything like the child he would want. It also seemed like every time she put herself out there, things never played out in her favor so after a while it seemed she just stopped trying and hoping. The two began to walk towards the carriages which appeared to be being pulled by nothing, but most knew by now that you could only see the creature pulling them if you had seen death and Winnie personally never had. She hadn't been there when her mother died. Momentarily, Winnie wondered whether Samantha could see them or not. She knew nothing about the girl other than her name and she thought she recalled her mentioning what house she was in, but she found she couldn't exactly remember. "So what house do you belong to, Samantha?" Winifred didn't discriminate anyone based on house, but she did rather fear Slytherins. She had never known one who she had actually gotten along with. Mostly, she tried to avoid them. But her guess for Samantha's house was either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. As they reached the carriages, Winifred carefully stepped onto one taking a seat on the forward-facing side. She waited for Samantha to get on too and felt a flutter of excitement as she glanced upwards and saw Hogwarts in the distance. |

Archie and Joel were acting like thirteen-year-olds. Kiran turned away and rolled her eyes, but as she did so, she saw a familiar face bobbing through the crowds. And that face was waving brightly and Kiran with a wide smile on her face. "OHMYGOD! KIRRIEEE!" Her squeal attracted the stare of some of the younger students, but Kiran ignored them. The voice belonged to Nicole Flannings, one of her best friends in her earlier years of Hogwarts. Kiran bounded forward and threw her arms around Nic, completely ignoring Archie and Sierra for the first time since... since they'd started dating. "Oh my God, NICKY! I haven't seen you in forever. Why didn't we talk more last year?" She paused here to breathe. Kiran had missed her friend... and she was a good distraction from the current situation. She turned to wave at Archie, Joel, and Sierra."Bye guys! See you at the feast!" Then she and Nic occupied the last two spaces in a carriage and it sped away. Slightly nonplussed, Archie, Joel, and Sierra got in a carriage of their own and headed down to the school. |

Samantha walked along with Winnie, a feeling of eagerness beginning to sprout within her. Well, this is a first step, she thought to herself. And hopefully, everything else will fall into place. The past year was, well, pretty uneventful. Not for the whole school maybe but for her own personal life. She knew only too well that she could have done it better. Those were the times where she decided it was better to blend in or perhaps stay behind the crowd rather than to get involved in strenuous and dangerous activities. They may call her a coward, but, it was the safest way anyway. Books were her best-est friends and it did comfort her. Of course, not physically, but it somehow satisfied her inner being. Somehow, getting lost into another world helped her calm down. Well, her real life friends are another issue though. Besides, that was the past year already, and a new one is starting to unfold. Who knows? This could be a start of something anyway. Not very far away, she could see the carriages waiting to transport them to Hogwarts. It still gives her the creeps being near it though she already knew what was driving it. The first time she rode the thing, she was wishing 90% of the time that nothing will go wrong. By that time, Winnie was asking her a question and she turned her head to face her and answered with a grin and a little pride in it, "I'm a Ravie. And you?" She asked with courtesy though she probably knew what house Winnie is in based on her friendliness. With just about time, she mounted the carriage with grace and took a seat across Winnie. |

Alejandra Fernandes. The name sounded so familiar yet so strange at the same time. Before Danny could inquire further, the girl had sped off. She sighed, her eyes narrowing. She really needed to stop helping people out so much. It's beginning to get old. Daniela mused, before stepping into an empty carriage and speeding off. |

Winifred couldn't help but be a little disappointed to learn the girl wasn't in her house. She seemed nice and she was really hoping she would be in Hufflepuff as well so she had someone to sit with today at the feast or talk to in the common room. But, the girl confirmed she was in Ravenclaw and Winnie smiled back at, her nodding her head. "I could see that," she responded with a small tilt of her head. "I'm a Hufflepuff," she answered, though not with nearly as much pride as Samantha had. She looked down on herself and her house. Her father had only ever spoken of Hufflepuff as the lowliest house at Hogwarts, and thus she had never taken much pride in being placed in it. Winnie had known she would be in that house, but wanting to please her father, she wished she had been placed elsewhere. Nevertheless, it was where she belonged. She was smart to an extent but not as intelligent or witty as a Ravenclaw, nor sly like a Slytherin or brave like a Gryffindor. |

Rodrigo didn't need to feign surprise when June quickly replied to his statements - he actually was surprised. First off, he hadn't expected her to keep her cool for this long, or to actually be able to respond to the things he was saying. It was a funny thing, this conversation. Perhaps Rodrigo really had misjudged sweet little Juney after all. Still, Rodrigo couldn't bring himself to apologise. He was right, after all. And if he said sorry, or even showed the tiniest amount of guilt... then June would be winning. And that simply couldn't happen. Thus, Rodrigo's face slid back to a careful monotone, and he stared at June intently. "What, Alex Merrygold? The kid who's a part of that 'Rave Five', or whatever it is they call themselves? I bet you mean nothing to him, Brooks. After all, he has better friends," Rodrigo's tone held definite hints of superiority. He was holding his ground, and because June had decided to take this whole conversation to a new level, well... Rodrigo was even more determined not to fall short. Hence, he disregarded most of her statements, as they both knew there was no point in going around in circles. "And I'll probably make new friends at Quidditch practice," Rodrigo blinked, his mind going blank, and a surge of anger overcoming him. "WHAT?" He spat, staring angrily at June. Quidditch was his thing. |

June winced, each of Rodrigo's words were like a stab. The worst was that he was right. June wasn't anyone for anyone. She was just a invisible girl, completely dull and completely friendless. She was nobody. June stiffled her tears, trying to hold them back. Rodrigo wasn't worth them, she lied to herself, and all she wanted to do was cower and apologize, say she'd been a idiot and that he was right. She wanted to take the easy way out, and throw away the little ideals she had for him. Hell, June would give practically anything to be his best friend again. She longed more to be his friend than she'd ever done before. June found it sick how she was returning to someone who hurt her so bad, and so willing she was returning too. The more he hurt her, the more June wanted to be his friend again. What was wrong with her? She wouldn't ever be able to get another friend, or someone to like her. He was right in that, Rodrigo was all she had. Yet how could she return to him when he frightened her so much? June folded her arms over her stomach, digging her nails into her back. She looked toward Rodrigo, trying desperately to hide how she felt. He might as well just have said she was worthless. June was worthless. June was nothing but a stain on a thrown away ugly cup, that's what she was to the world. She'd never be liked. She'd never be loved. Not by anyone, and here she was pushing away the one person who'd made her smile more than any. That gave her butterflies in her stomach sometimes, and who'd hug her and make her feel like she was the most important person out there. She must be crazy. Perhaps Rodrigo wasn't the one who changed, perhaps it was her? Still, she wouldn't return. June couldn't, she just couldn't. Every bit of her told her not to, and June was one who trusted her gut feeling, no matter how wrong it was. So she looked at him, not able to hide the torment she was feeling, and said, "f*ck you, Rodrigo. Just- go to hell. I don't need you in my life anymore," |

He was right. He was right. He was right. He. Was. Right. This thought pumped through his mind, almost in-time with his heart. With each rush of blood, Rodrigo's anger grew. And grew. And grew. He tried to keep his cool, he tried to feel some sympathy for the girl cowering in shame opposite him. His best friend for the past five years was almost in tears, and all Roddie could do was stare. His eyes were filled with disgust, and with every beat of his heart, every pump of blood, every circulation of his thoughts, Rodrigo struggled to keep his anger in check. He should've said sorry. He should've gone over to June, given her a big hug, and told her not to worry... that it was a big game, and it was all over now. But it wasn't, and Rodrigo couldn't. So he stared. His gaze was unfocused, but the malice hidden in his brown eyes made up for that. But despite all these horrible feelings he had for June, a small lump formed in his throat, which Rodrigo was strangely thankful for. It told him he still cared for June, even if only a little. It told him, that through his anger, he was still human. And for that, Rodrigo was grateful. "I-" Rodrigo's mouth traced words which he would never say, and his brain was a flurry of anger and incomplete sentences. So, Rodrigo eventually mumbled the only thing he could. The only thing that was possible in this situation: "Whatever." And without another word, Rodrigo flounced off the carriage, and into the castle. |

June didn't know what to say. She regretted her words so bad, yet the more she thought over it, the more she meant them. Yet, Rodrigo was staring at her like she was some monster, someone he hated. And that tore her apart so badly. She felt so pathetic. So helpless and useless. Worthless. Once he left, June found a sad little whisper escape her, "Please, don't go," Right now, June needed someone. She felt so cruel, like she was the worst person in the world, the craziest and most horrible. Why was she like this? Why did June have to pick right now to grow some bone and stand up for herself? She leaned forward, resting her head in her hands, expecting to cry. But no tears came, just sobs. Just small white knuckles as she pulled at the roots of her hair, and feet kicking into the carriage, trying to let loose all the anger she felt. She couldn't handle this. She couldn't handle not having Rod, not having control. June was weak, and now the world was putting too much on her. She wasn't brave. She wasn't smart or wise. She was just June. Her throat was thick, her nose red and runny, and all June could do was loathe herself. Over how she never was happy before, and took everything for granted. How she would just see the bad and pity herself. Now she was stuck with absolutely nothing, and she deserved it. That was the worst. June needed someone right now, she was desperate. But yet, that she wouldn't allow herself. She forced herself to stand up and leave the carriage. She kicked as hard as she could against a rock, ending only up with a sore foot, swearing underneath her breath. She just walked towards hogwarts, strangely feeling ready for whatever the school had to throw at her. She'd already experienced the worst, and there was nothing left to destroy. June entered the school. |

"Aww. I was hoping we could sit together when the feast begins.." A little frown was shown on Samantha's lips while she notice a feeling of awkwardness about the 'which House are you in' topic. As she thought about that, she changed the tone of her voice and put in a little bit of eagerness in it. "That's fine though.. I think we have a whole year ahead of us to catch up." She offered a smile to Winnie. "I like Huffies anyway." Which was entirely true. She had had Hufflepuff acquaintances here and there for the past five years and they seemed to go along with her well. Overhead, Hogwarts was already towering and Samantha could feel the excitement rising in her. She held her long hair as the breeze blew it and looked back at Winnie. "It's so near. I'm so excited!" Samantha let out a little giggle and stopped herself before it could get any louder. She didn't want her new friend to think she's like a first year again, too excited to be in Hogwarts. Ugh. I sounded like a whiny baby, she ranted in her mind. |

"I was wishing the same thing," Winnie said with a small sigh realizing that she would have to go through the awkwardness of introducing her herself all over again and would have to try to find someone else to sit by. "Yes," Winnie agreed with a small nod and a big smile. Years always passed by so much quicker than one expected. "And I like most Ravies. I believe you fall in the most category," Winnie said with a light laugh and a smile to Samantha. Her social skills were a bit rusty, she hadn't used them hardly all summer. It was hard to get back in the swing of things. "Can you believe it's our sixth year already?" Winnie said in disbelief. Where had the last five years gone? It seemed the two were feeling the exact same thing as they stared at the castle. Winnie was anxious to get there. She wasn't sure which emotion she felt more, excitement or nervousness. Samantha had given her a glimmer of hope that this year would be different, so perhaps it was more of the first. "I am as well!" Winifred exclaimed, wringing her hands in lap a little bit nervously. She hoped Samantha didn't take note of her worry. Winnie liked how giggly and excited Samantha was for this and she let out a small giggle in return. The carriage slowly pulled to a stop in front of the castle and when it came to a complete stop, Winnie stood up slowly, wishing she and her newfound friend didn't have to sit at different tables. |

Samantha sighed as Winnie mentioned that it was their sixth year already. I know right? Time swings by so fast. It just seemed like yesterday they were these annoying, overly enthusiastic first years who can't wait to get sorted, learn how to fly and finally learn how to use magic properly! Well, it was quite a heck of a five years anyway. Perhaps this was a good start for her, and she assumed for Winnie too. She was rather dismayed when the carriage went to a full stop but felt good as well. She was in her second home after all. Realizing that, she missed her kid brothers already who were too hyper the night before. She's going to miss them a lot. Perhaps she'll find one in her anyway. Samantha carefully went down on the side of the carriage, aware of what is driving them. She turned to Winnie and said, "Well, here we are." A grin was on her face and then she entered the castle. |

Winnie slowly made here way out of the carriage, her big hazel eyes staring at the school as she stepped down. Her thoughts shifted back to the first day she had come here. She had been so nervous she was literally shaking as she sat with a carriage of other excited first-years and with her brother, William, she had no idea where he was at the moment. Those days seemed so long ago now. "Yes... here we are," she repeated slowly with a slight tinge of excitement in her sweet voice. She bit her lip nervously, feeling slightly intimidated by the huge castle in front of her. Winnie followed Samantha into the castle as they made their way toward the Great Hall. |

Seventh Year Harold the Great

Harry's ride on the train had been uneventful. He had sat in a compartment with some of his classmates, made a few comments , but otherwise stayed uncharacteristically quiet. The whole holidays seemed rather strange to him. For the first few days he had rarely spoke to anybody, but seeing his family so concerned, he tried to act normal. He couldn't help feeling he had lost his chance to be truely happy. During the last week before school, he decided to stop thinking about his lost friend, and look forward. He tried to think there was nothing he could do to make her stay, no matter what kind of blood flowed through his veins. When Harold exited the train, he was glad to see Hogwarts in the distance again. Not as happy as every year he returned to this school, but slightly better than at home. His friends were already walking to the carriages, and he started to follow them when he spotted something familiar out of the corner of his eye. Turning to the side, his heart skipped a beat. He couldn't believe what, or rather whom he was seeing. Figuring she seemed too real to just be a part of his imagination, he called after her. "Eve." Harry tried to make his way towards her, but there were too many students in the station. "Eve!" he called again, this time louder. --- Harold watched sadly as Eve left. He was sure she must have heard him. But he understood her, and decided to find her later that day and talk to her. The boy sat in the next carriage with only one empty seat, and left for Hogwarts, thinking what he could say to her. Edited by Harold Avery, Sep 18 2010, 04:49:20 PM.

Eve watched the girl exit the carriage and disappear into the crowd. It was not long before a few other students had joined her. She ignored their idle chatter slipping into yet another daydream. And suddenly, she heard a voice cut through the tiny carriage window... an all too familiar voice that she had thought about the entire summer. She turned and looked, laying her eyes on none other than Harold Avery. The students filed past him, blocking him from her view, and before she could act or even begin to comprehend the situation, the carriage began to roll towards Hogwarts, leaving her past flame to be washed away with the crowd. |
