Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Alistair is fresh from Durmstrang, he's going to need some sort of buddy to show him around Hogwarts. New friends and acquaintances perhaps even a love interest (if so: he hasn't fully gotten over his ex girlfriend, they broke up because of the distance and still write letters via owls). He's fairly shy so any new friends will probably be outgoing and friendly enough to talk to a random stranger. Any potential friends will have to be able to put up with a barrage of sarcasm and knowing basically nothing about him. Few enemies, if any, he doesn't like to cause trouble but will get on peoples nerves. (not purposefully) FRIENDS Jarette Loefler Natalie Johnson Amera Percy Beth Snape Winnie Anderson ENEMIES NONE! RP Location Wandering	Well right now Natalie is with Finn, we are still kind of working out the ending of the relationship. We could have them become friends and maybe she'd develop some feelings for him but keeps them to herself since she is still with/likes Finn. After they break up, maybe she will turn to Alistair for some comfort. Maybe ending it in a kiss or something. Jeeze. Everything I do with Nat is kind of cliche. Does that sound ok?

Deleted User	I don't really think Bleddyn would mess well with York's sarcastic attitude, but he wouldn't want to completely avoid him. I'm thinking more along the lines of "I know your face and name but we don't talk much."

It sounds like fun. Especially if Alistair lets off on his sarcasm to actually be supportive. (which he'd have to... or forever be branded as a douche) Wellll, if Bleddyn and Alistair are friends with Jarette(and a few other people, most likely) they will have to cross paths... and acknowledge each others existence. Perhaps they're 'hey what's up, let's talk for a few minutes just to be friendly' guys? after and if they end up being introduced?

XD And a fling would be... interesting. I don't think Laine's personality would phase Alistair, he'd actually probably be able to be himself around her since she's a bit silly. Terry sounds fairly similar to Alistair shy and polite. (Only Alistair is a bit more relaxed, less polite, after a while...) Unless something happened I don't think they would become friends, so probably they would just be acquaintances. (because I honestly suck at thinking up plots. ^^)

I'm writing her journal when I have time now, but I'll bring her back to actual RPing in a few days. She is quite shy, but also curious. She would notice there's a new student, and maybe strike up a conversation? What do you say they became better friends with time? E.g. having only brief chats at first, and sharing some of their problems or helping each other out near the end of the year. BTW: "Alistair"? I luv that name. Have you been, by any chance, inspired by Dragon Age?
