| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. ![]() The house's exterior, which is protected by a large, black picket fence to keep muggles from dropping in unannounced. ![]() The master bedroom of La Maison Du Lestair is what Elyse likes to call 'understated elegance' although her daughter has no idea what is so understated. The bedroom exudes elegance and class, and the spacious room is full of antiques, from the canopy bed to the ornate lamps. ![]() Margaux's bedroom was remodeled when she was twelve years old, and even turning sixteen she still loves it. It's a cozy room with an elegant yet modern color scheme, as well as some precisely placed poodles she can't bring herself to get rid of. ![]() Margaux's bathroom, which she commandeered from her parents. Originally connected to both her and her parents rooms, she convinced her parents to remove the door and cover up the hole that led to their side. Her parents weren't thrilled, but Margaux refused to budge so they relented. It's the largest bathroom in the house, which she lords over Christof. ![]() Christof's bedroom was done to resemble a typical muggle bedroom, as he tends to befriend many of the tourists visiting the ocean by their house. Christof rarely cleans his bedroom, and it's typically covered under a layer of clothes and socks. The family's kitchen, which Margaux rarely ventures in to. Due to her mother's refusal to use House Elves, Elyse can be found in the kitchen almost constantly. ![]() The dining room, which Margaux's parents use for entertaining. Typically, the family eats in the kitchen. The dining room can be magicked longer or shorter, and the chairs can be conjured. The room is very versatile because of this. ![]() The family room, where Margaux and Christof spend most of their time. The room is ideal for entertaining muggles, as it contains what her muggle studies book calls a 'T.V.' Neither Margaux or Christof have any idea how to work it, and they tend to spend most of their time talking or playing wizarding chess. ![]() The view from Margaux's back door. She wouldn't trade it for all the chocolate frog cards in the world. ![]() Part of the town Margaux lives in. She and Christof constantly hang out there. |

You enter the living room, pausing to admire the photographs hanging on the wall. ![]() An image of a teenage boy smiles back at you, who you recognize as Margaux's brother Christof. ![]() A recent shot of Margaux's parents gives clear evidence that their marriage is a happy, loving one. ![]() An old photo of Margaux and Christof, back when Margaux was seven and Christof was four. ![]() Nine year old Margaux, during Christmas time. You smile slightly, fingers tracing the photo of Elyse and Jacque gently. She looks the same as you remember, and the thought brings tears to your eyes. Margaux is the spitting image of Elyse, although she inherited your smile. The corners of your mouth tug up slightly, and you pick up the picture of your daughter. "Eric..." You hear someone whisper, and you set the picture down with a bang, fiercely wiping your eyes. "I know." You say, putting your glasses back on. "She looks so much like you." "She got your smile." Elyse says softly, giving you a small grin in return. "I can show you through the rest of the house if you like. Margaux and Christof shouldn't be back for sometime." Tears once again fill your eyes. "No." You answer, "I really wouldn't want to intrude." "Nonsense!" Elyse says loudly, covering her mouth as she realizes her volume. "Sorry. You deserve to see how your daughter was raised." "You and Jacque seem very happy." You say, using all your strength to muster a strained smile. She gets a faraway look in her eyes, and a smile so bright you're surprised your not blinded. "We are." She didn't need to answer that. One look at her face and hearing her tone of voice, you aren't surprised. You know she would never be that happy with you. "I'll be off then." You say quietly, tears pooling in your eyes once again as you look at the daughter you'll never get to know. "Let me know if you need any help." You take off then, walking quickly towards the door. "Eric..." She calls after you, "Eric!" You don't even bother to turn around, tears spilling as you look at your feet and walk. You wrench open the door, nearly knocking someone over. "I'm so sorry! You must forgi-" Your breath dies in your throat as you look at her. Your daughter. You look for something in her eyes, forgetting the tears on your cheeks as you search for some sort of recognition. "No problem, sir." She, the girl with your smile and Elyse's face, grins, breaking your heart in the process. "I think I've seen you around town. Are you from around these parts?" Of course. She thinks of you as a stranger. Still you can't help but smile at her, a real smile. "I come here during the holidays sometimes." You see something flash in her eyes as she stares at you, but you brush past her. Margaux is your daughter. She just won't ever know it. |
