| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. Jarrette had returned to the family farmhouse for what seemed like eons ago already. it's had only been a few weeks, but most of his time was spent out on the farm helping the workers and packing and selling the fruit then all over again. He was sitting in the kitchen of the old home, having just finished eating after another hard day at work in the hot sun. It would be dark soon, and he found himself often glancing up at the clock above the sink to check the time. 7:14 p.m. already? Hm... I wonder if everything's ok.. He knew that soon enough, the doorbell would ring, and a good friend of his would be staying for a couple weeks before returning to Diagon Alley back in the UK. Maybe she could help him practice Quidditch a bit more? He chuckled to himself. Right, Quidditch. After his little flying accident, Jarrette had sworn off trying to play the game ever since, though he would never stop loving it as a spectator. "No signs yet Retti?" Jarrette recognized his mother's voice coming from the living room entrance. He turned to face her, "Nah mah, not yet." Her small deep green eyes began to wrinkle with worry, "I hope they didn't get lost. If she hurries along, she'll get back before we have to reheat dinner." "They'll be fine, mah." He gave her a reassuring smile. She smiled back at her son warmly, "You're probably right. But you know me, old worry wart." She turned back and walked into the living room to continue her painting. Jarrette turned back to face the door and leaned against the chair. One last time he looked at the clock. Almost 7:30 now... C'mon Jesse, what''s keeping ya? he sighed and waited for the door to open. |

Jesse appeared in Roger's gleaming Black Chevrolet Camaro which he had finally finished making. Roger had a knack for all things muggle, especially cars. Roger drove the car onto the driveway and in front of the doors which behind them lied Jarette Loefler. She was dreadfully excited to spending some of her summer at her best friends house. It was better than living in a house with only guys around. "Bye Jesse. See you in a couple of weeks," Roger got out of the car with her and hugged her briefly. He came around to the back of the car and pulled out her luggage and walked up to the steps of the house and placed them near the door. Jesse farewelled her oldest brother and watched him briefly drive out of the residence. She turned back to the door and gave a huge sigh before knocking on the door. She knew she was late and she felt kind of bad. But that was her, unintentionally late as always. A motherly figure appeared at the door and smiled. Jesse returned the smile and introduced herself," Hi, I'm Jesse. Jarette's friend who was coming over for the Summer Holidays." "I know. Jarette has been talking about you a lot to me," the woman chuckled. She turned back over her shoulder and called out," JARETTE YOUR FRIEND IS HERE! He'll be over in a sec dear." |

"JARRETTE YOUR FRIEND IS HERE!" Jarrette almost jumped out of his seat. He stared at the door in the kitchen for a moment before thinking out loud, "Oh yeah. Kitchen. Back door. Haha." He had been gone so long that he forgot visitors generally came in the front door in the living room, not the back door in the kitchen like family often did. He got up out of his chair and walked out to the living room. "Jesse!" he exclaimed, waving at her to welcome her into the home, "C'mon in, do you need help with your stuff? I'll have to show you to the room you'll be staying in the next couple weeks. It may be a little smaller than what your used to." He gave her a hug and went to grab a couple of her bags. He was happy to see someone outside of the muggle world. He had asked his uncle off for a couple of weeks, and he was kind enough to give it to him. He'd have to back the day after Jesse went home though. It was a drag, so Jarrette found it best not to think about it. |

Jesse returned Jarette's hug and shook her head declining his offer in carrying her bags. "I can carry them, thank you very much," Jesse gleamed ass he held her bags, one on each end. She walked into the house feeling warm and cosy. She hadn't experienced this sensation in her house. It was all guy BO and the smell of cold marble and plaster. Her place was like without a mother. But Jarette's house felt motherly and loving. Whilst where she resides was deep with a cold ancient feel and deep and dark history. Jesse shrugged, a small room was fine for her. She had experienced it anyway, before they got into the bug estate where she now lived. "It's cool Jar. You'll need to give me a tour first though," Jesse beamed. She was really excited that she was away from her brothers. ((OOC: crappy post --")) Edited by Jesse Desmount, Aug 23 2010, 04:40:50 AM.
