Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Sixth Year - So Ridiculous Posts: 135 Group: Gryffindor Member #1,376 Joined: Jan 27 2010 Gender Female Age 5185D	Chloe sighed as the image of her home finally appeared in her sight. It was a nice sigh of glee, a sigh that brought all the sweet memories back. Her lips started to curve slightly, and her blonde hair began to shine with the bright sun of Ontario. Only one window of the limousine was open, and yet the light that entered through it was greater than the darkness inside the vehicule. The beats of her heart went faster and stronger once the car stopped. Even with the great amount of happiness she felt, returning was always something tough for her. The door was opened and Chloe was helped out. She put her sunglasses on, and made sure she was presentable. Her outfit had been carefully chosen to make a good impression to her family; Chloe knew how much they valued elegance. As the girl made her way towards the building, the door was opened, allowing her to get inside. David followed her closely with her stuff as she entered the elevator. As pureblood as Chloe was, the Gryffindor still relied a lot on muggles and their interesting artefacts. After a brief stop at Chloe's bedroom, the girl went down to the living room. It was empty, to her surprise, so she decided to just sit in the amazingly comfortable cough and relax for a while. After all, she had to get ready for her parents interrogation and her sister's bad attitude. It would get tiring. The blonde let out another sigh. She was home at last, after a tough term full of excitement and challenges. Excitement and challenges, yeah right. Nothing is a challenge for Chloe Vaughan.

Just as the girl started to enjoy her holidays, the sound of a closing door entered through her sensible ears. Even if it was just the wind, Chloe felt some shivers. A slamming door meant violence. Violence meant anger. Anger meant family. Everything was linked. Sitting up, the blonde cleared her throat. Her hazel eyes wandered around the room and stopped their journey in the stairs, where a shadow layed on the white walls. After what seemed to be ages, the shadow transformed into a person. Hilary. The image of the girl's sister was extraordinary. Chloe's mind filled up with thoughts of anger, thoughts of hate. But Hilary was her family, as much as she had hurt her. "Sister," she greeted, her word short and serious, "Long time, no see." Chloe didn't dare say a real sentence. Hilary's emeralds fiercely looking at her sister, and not even Chloe Vaughan could escape, or fight, that sight. She was trapped. "You're correct, my dear Chloe," she replied, her voice, teasing. "I've heard many things about you and your fifth year at Hogwarts, little sister." Those words turned Chloe's defense mode on. "But you know me, darling, I don't like skipping to conclusions without prior argumentation." She smirked, her perfect white teeth almost shining. Chloe was speechless. What could have Hilary heard? She hadn't even done anything wrong this past year. Still, she had to answer something. Anything. "I don't know what you are talking about," the girl said, her words a bit nervous. Her enormous ego and confidence had almost disappeared entirely. It was amusing, Chloe didn't remember the last time she ffelt like that. "Oh, please. You thought you were the queen of Gryffindor," Hilary's tone changed with that word, she didn't accept the fact that her sister had been sorted into the "enemy" House. "The queen of Hogwarts. please. You would never be that, Chloe. I'm sorry to disappoint you." Chloe's nervous expresion changed into a one of anger. She didn't think that, did she? Of course not. Well, she was popular and everything, but not cold enough to consider herself a queen. That was the duty of Slytherins like Hilary herself. Even after graduation, one's House and school spirit stayed forever. The blonde made no comments, and for a couple of seconds the only thing that could be heard was her heart beating and her throat clearing. Time passed and Hilary's teasing expression faded into the one of a winner. The girl thought she had won, after all, Chloe had said nothing. Even the Gryffindor herself knew that the battle had been lost. Yet, she knew it wasn't end. It can't end like this. But the summer had just started.

What seemed to have been a lost battle was now just another stupid discussion, one more in Chloe's stupid discussions list. The girl suddenly realized that the night was near. Within a few seconds she was standing next to the window, and with a slight move of her hand the window was open. Chloe felt the breeze in her face as her hazel eyes observed what was left of the day. The sunset had always been Chloe's favourite time of the day; she just believed the colours were beautiful. It was the time that the blonde had to relax, to get inspiration and happiness. But once the cold night had made it's way to Chloe's sight, it was all over. She made her way to the stairs, sighing after another day of her parents ignoring her. Weren't they happy and excited of their daughter finally arriving from school? Shouldn't they be? Chloe knew her parents were young, and that their minds were not the same as the typical parents, but still, the girl believed they could at least say hello. She took short and light steps up the stairs, but the image of the hallway didn't delight her. It was just another place that her parents ignored, another place she had to share with Hilary. Chloe's steps became faster until she entered her room. The girl quickly closed the door and leaned towards it, looking up at the white ceiling, Clearing her throat, she scanned the room. Everything was exactly the same as the last time she had seen it (no, not when leaving her stuff, but before she went to Hogwarts), but it still felt different to Chloe. Her bedroom had an empty atmosphere, the girl felt no kindness or joy in it, something that made her emotionless for a second. She pushed herself towards the bed, and sighed as she felt the soft mattress under. Making her head comfortable on the pillow, she grinned, but even though she was feeling so good physically, there was still a lack of emotions inside her. Aghhh. . .
