| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Nicole trudged into the Great Hall, dinner on her mind. Seeing no one, she was utterly surprised to be alone. Losing interest, Nicole grabbed a seat at the Ravenclaw table. She thought over the task, about the Yeti. It was huge, and it would just not release the Beauxbaton champion. I wonder how she's feeling. Nicole thought to herself, pouring some pumpkin juice and sipping it slowly. The other students were not to far behind, she was sure. Ginny Weasley included. Nicole thought, remembering the scene that had occurred previously. Katie Clearwater had been hurt pretty bad. I simply must go and see her later. See for myself what truly happened. {OOC: Once again, crap, but my brain is dead. >.<} |

Rosalie entered the Great Hall. She made her way to the Gryffindor table with her arms crossed. Ginny and Criselda had to enter soon, and maybe Oscar. She wanted to know who won the Task, and what happened to Katie Clearwater. Did Ginny get in trouble after all? Questions bubbled in her head as she reached for a goblet filled with water. |

Lily entered the Great Hall, biting her lower lip. She was positive that tonight, there was going to be some form of celebration. She didn't mind a party here and there, but Lily liked to get her beauty sleep. She headed straight for the Ravenclaw table, taking a seat at the near edge. |

Precious entered the Great Hall, she stopped near the entrance, to search the hall with her eyes. It was almost empty, and her eyes caught on a small figure sitting alone at a Ravenclaw table. The smirk on Precious' lips widened. She strutted towards the figure, her hips swinging and her lips pursed. She slid into the seat next to the Ravenclaw table. "Lucy! How do you like my hair?" asked Precious, running a hand through her newly cut bangs. |

Ginny and Criselda entered the Great Hall and sat down at the near-empty Gryffindor table. Ginny hadn't eaten since breakfast--and she'd barely eaten a thing, there--so she was starving. She began to pile food onto her plate and eat rapidly, awaiting Bannishtar's arrival. She knew she was about to get in trouble, although punching Katie had been totally worth how many ever house points got taken away. She only hoped her housemates would agree... |

Rose eagerly watched the doors of the Great Hall, waiting for someone she knew to come in. She watched Lily Hindert come in, then ugh, Precious Hindert. Finally, Ginny and Criselda stepped through the doors. They made their way to the Gryffindor table, without even acknowledging Rose. "Well, I never!" Rose said sarcastically, her mouth in a big 'O' shape. She approached them, then sat across from Ginny and Criselda. "How dare you guys don't invite me to sit with you!" she said with a giggle. The Gryffindor leaned forward, resting her elbows on the table. "So, Ginny. How'd it feel to punch Katie Clearwater?" she asked eagerly, raising an eyebrow. |

"Heh, sorry," Ginny laughed as Rosalie sat across from them. How had she not seen her friend? There was no one else at the table. "Oh my goodness, it was awesome!" Ginny gushed. "Well, you know Katie. She had it coming.I swear, she's so strange. One minute she's your friend, then the next, you're punching her in the nose." She rolled her eyes. "Whatever. So where were you today? I didn't see you at the task, but I guess I didn't see a lot of people..." She trailed off, thinking of Oscar and Jack and Dave. |

"Really?" asked Rose, her voice filled with interest. "Figures. I think she's hot n' cold." As Rose's green eyes rolled up to the ceiling, a smile breaking onto her face. Her eyes fell onto Ginny again. "'Cause you're hot n' cold, yes then you're no." sang Rose, moving her shoulders to the beat of the muggle song. She laughed at herself. She thought she was an idiot. "I've never punched someone in the nose, but it looks fun." she said, wrinkling her nose. "I skipped the task, because I know drama happens like this," she yawned and stretched. "I hung out by the lake, caught up on work, you know. Kept to myself the whole day." the Gryffindor reached for a green apple. "So what else happened besides Katie getting punched?" |

Ginny burst out laughing as Rosalie sang out part of a Muggle song. This is why she loved her friends. "That would be Katie's theme song," she said through her giggles. "Yes, it was very fun," Ginny said, nodding solemnly. "Ah, how fun. Actually, nothing much. Naturally, I didn't get to watch the actual task. Trina and her little 'clique' almost got smushed by a Yeti, which I personally thought was quite hilarious. But her boyfriend was nowhere in sight." Ginny shrugged her shoulders and took a sip of water. "I'm actually glad. I was not in the mood for drama today." |

Leighton strode into the hall her gaze sweeping it for familiar faces. Spotting Precious at the Ravenclaw table, Leighton held back an eyeroll. She also spotted Ginny Weasley who looked as though her hair was constantly on fire. Giggling at her own cynical thoughts, Leighton walked over to the Slytherin table, sitting down at a quite end of the table she gazed around and waited for some more of her housemates to arrive. Lith entered the Great Hall gazing around slowly, she wandered to the Ravenclaw table and sat down. She was absolutely starving and cold! She waited patiently for the food to appear and the warm drinks as she rubbed her hands together slightly so they'd get more warm. She looked up waiting for Eve, she wanted to talk to her about her 'cat scratch.' They were friends now and she wanted to know where it came from, she was slightly worried. She waited there patiently, rubbing her cold hands together from time to time. |

Eyran nervously looked down the table and watched her. She was so beautiful and perfect in every way, and yet she didn't even know Eyran existed, but isn't that they way every love story begins? They were on two different sides of the world, star-crossed lovers- well actually star crossed lover. The thought was always in the back of Eyran's mind to give his love a token of his feelings toward the other but he hadn't acted on this small notion. But until he came across an odd item in a book he had been reading, the thought stayed hidden in the back of his mind. Yet with all the practice in the front of the mirror, repeating the same lines over and over again, Eyran still couldn't bring the words out of his dry throat. "Precious, I got you a gift." Something simple, yet elegant filled with emotion and love... Or not. Even to an imaginary Precious he couldn't find the right words to say. All he had to do was to approach her and give her the candle. "I can do it!" Eyran thought to himself, his confidence taking a lead. "Wait, no. She's talking to some one else. I shouldn't interrupt." And his self confidence and pride took a step back. Looking down at the black candle in his hands, he sighed. He was nervous and he didn't think he'd ever get over the fear of saying what he actually felt. It'd be best if he didn't, he wouldn't want to scare her. "Precious I love you!" The scene played over and over in his head and the same event took place. Eyran shouts, everyone looks at him and laughs and Precious runs away screaming at the top of her lungs; "Creeper!" "OK I can do it this time!" Eyran stood once more and began to walk toward Precious.. He didn't care if he interrupted a conversation. This was important. Actually, on second thought he'd wait for them to finish. As he tried to turn back and sit back down, Eyran had stepped on his own shoelace and had fallen face first on the floor. "Ow!" If that didn't win her over, he didn't know what would. |

Juliet entered the Great hall, finally managing to walk without stumbling. Pausing to subconciously check if John had arrived yet, Juliet was thankful that she didn't see his dark head of hair. Forcing a smile, Juliet walked her way toward the Gryffindor table spotting Ginny, Rosalie and Criselda. She sat next to Rosalie, and across from Criselda and Ginny greeting them half heartedly feeling her eyes sparkle with fresh tears. Juliet couldn't believe that she had anymore tears to shed. "Hello again." She said in the strongest tone she could manage. "Thanks for punching Katie earlier Gin. And Crissy, thanks for sticking up for me." She added honestly. At times like these she loved her friends to death and wouldn't trade them for the world. But she was also a blubbering mess at the moment so her thoughts shouldn't be counted for anything. |

His hair still wet from his recent shower, Salvador entered the great hall. He had recently skipped the second task and confined himself in the common room to train. Since most of the students were gone, Sal had the whole common room to himself. It was cold outside and it wasn't often the common room was empty so it was an great opportunity to catch up. Recently he had been having trouble maintaining his flexibility, stretching when he woke up only gave him strange looks so he had stopped working out inside and was outside jogging by at least seven o'clock. But now the winds were bitter and the snow was cold and Sal was doomed to training sessions inside. "Hey, Man." Salvador greeted, while taking a seat next to Noah. "How was the second task?" |

"Hey, people oohed, they ahhed and the French girl got covered in Yeti spit. So all in all quite entertaining." Noah replied with a smile. "Let me guess, you skipped the task to train?" He asked already knowing what Salvador would say. Noah glanced around the hall spotting Juliet and her friends sitting at the Gryffindor table. He also noticed that she looked a mess. He made a mental note to ask what was wrong later. He had a feeling it had something to do with John. This thought gave him the hopeful idea he would finally get the chance to punch the Gryffindor square in the face. |

"Let me guess, you skipped the task to train?" Noah Asked. Sal smiled and shook his head. "Yeah, I've been behind." Noah's eyes glanced around the hall and Salvador's eyes followed and caught sight of his sister. She looked upset and Salvador wondered what was wrong. "What's wrong with your sister?" Salvador asked. As wrong as it was Sal had always thought Juliet was hot but would most likely never tell Noah. The bro's sister was way off limits and Sal knew that. Plus Noah and his sister seemed fairly close and if Sal screwed up with either it would not end well. Some things are just best left alone. |

"Cousin actually. But most people call her my sister." Noah replied automatically. He had though told Salvador himself many times Juliet was like a sister to him. Most people were convinced they were twins. "Don't know. She had a fight with her boyfriend. But by the looks of it they broke up. He was a jerk anyway." Noah added feeling pleasure at Juliet not being with John. But he still didn't like seeing her upset. "Although it was suprising. He had been her first Gryffindor boyfriend. Guess thats an improvment on her old type of guy." He said thoughtfully. |

She knew it was wrong to think about two people, especially now that she was in a- Trina looked around the Hall, and found that quite a few have skipped the Task for early dinner. She focused her eyes on her house's and saw Lily already perched on the bench. She wound her way and sat in front of her. "Lily." Trina greeted her politely, going a bit red. |

She looked around the Hall and saw Trina Tadpool walking over to her friend Lily Hindert and looked away immediately, turning to talk to Rosalie and Ginny. "Yeah, I've seen no sign of Bauer today. I wonder why..." |
