| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Juliet felt the tears pour faster as her hand touched where his heart beated showing her every reason why this moment wasn't a horrible dream. Her eys though fogging up didn't even shut as she gazed at John feeling for the first time in her life the two most heart wrenching emotions. Someone seeing into her soul and love. Did she love John? Yes, and that terrified Juliet. Leaning in her lips touched his slowly as innocent of a kiss as their first one after the ball. "When we leave here, everything will change I don't want to leave because I am scared." She said feeling the most vunerable she had ever felt letting the words pour out even though they were shaky and miles from her usual bubbly and happy tone. "Promise me that one day we'll give this another shot. Please." She almost asked desperately but whispering it instead. She guessed that John could here it seeing as they were sitting there with their forheads meeting like they shared some big secret. In a way they did. OOC: An odd post but I think it fits. John felt as though an electrical shock had passed through them when their lips touched. John wrapped his arm around her, it was strange, despite having ended their relationship, John felt as though it was still like they were a couple. "I don't know, in here we are removed from everything else. We both know that the way we are here isn't like the way we are in the castle. It's why we are in this situation in the first place" John said, stopping short of blaming Juliet for being here. How could she change so much from the girl that made him look like an idiot without a second thought at the task to the sweet loving girl that was practically melting in his arms. "Promise me that one day we'll give this another shot. Please." John stared blankly ahead, he didn't want to commit to that. The silence was awkward. He didn't want to be apart but knew they couldn't be together. "What if you find someone else? I can't make that promise Jules" John said, asking her the question. It was a great fear of John's, but he would certainly not let anyone know this. |

Juliet broke her gaze from his and her eyesstrayed to her gloved hands. "I'll try to save a moment more for us. All I know now is no one else has ever made me the emotional mess I am right now." She said her gaze raising back up to his. The tears stopped and in that moment Juliet felt bliss. Not because she was at ease with what had happened, far from it but having someone see what no one else had before made her feel as though it was Summer instead of the snow they sat in. "Well, if you ever need a back up date for a dance or something..." She trailed off with a nervous laugh unsure of what else to say. |

"Dammit Jules, we can't keep doing this every single time this happens" John said, standing up quickly and brushing the snow off of his coat. He knelt back down till he was eye level with Juliet again. "I love you but we can't keep pretending like everything is perfect. This isn't easy, but if we keep going along this track we'll end up hating each other. I know as friends, I'll probably long for something more, but we can't, we mustn't, not now, not yet" John said. His heart was being torn to shreds and Juliet was playing with his emotions like it was a muggle toy called a yo-yo that you could bounce around and was hugely popular in the late 90's era with high school students and elementary students. |

Usually Juliet would snap back and argue stubbornly as everyone knew her for but for once she bit her lip and took it. Each word he said pireced her in a way similar to which she had felt as a child each time her mother walked off to work without even saying good morning to her. It was a feeling Juliet both despised and feared. It made her lip tremble but she responded in as steady a voice she could manage. "I know." She replied simply the two words sounding like an unforgivable curse. Sighing with what Juliet knew to be finality she added. "So what now? Do we walk out of here together and act as though everything is dinky-dory or do you want to leave first? Your choice." Juliet said in a almost broken voice. In a way she was, but in an area no spell could repair, her heart. She didn't want to leave or John to either, but if she didn't let go now, she knew she wouldn't be able to. OOC: Maybe Juliet should storm off after John says something stupid and offensive. John immediately regretted using such harsh tones with Juliet. "I don't know Juliet, why don't you make up your own mind for once?" John said, unable to stop himself. He could feel the building frustration mount and bubble inside of him, these weren't his feelings towards Juliet, this was all the bad stuff that had happened to John over the past bit, most of it had nothing to do with Juliet, his parents probable death, the torture of his brother, the will and inheritance arrangements that made John at the age of 15 the head of the family, set to inherit the family business and trust account at the Muggle adult age of 18. His brother was currently receiving treatment at St. Mungos as well, due to the injuries caused by the torture. All of this had been bubbling up inside John, slowly ebbing away at his happy moments. It had finally come to popping point. |

Something inside Juliet burst and her eyes fell like an ocean as tear began to pour out at a heavy rate. Blinking to adjust to the sudden emotion she glanced at John and sighed feeling a little annoyed in spite of her upset state. "Fine. Goodbye John. I am really sorry about everything if my thoughts account for anything." She said bordering an angry tone but the saddness and heartbreak managed to rule her mind and emotions as she stood up and walked out of the forest, not even bothering to neaten her hair of clean off her clothes. |

Part of John was glad to see Juliet storm off, it would help with the pain. The frustration was pumping through John's body, coursing through, almost as if it had replaced the blood in his system. John punched a nearby tree, and the bowtruckles on the tree scattered. John's fist began to bleed, which left little red drops in the small patches of snow in the forest. John's right fist stung, but John threw a left, then a right and another left. Rage surged through his body. "AGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" John yelled, the sounds echoed through the forest as birds in nearby trees took off in fright. Still angry and upset John left the forest. Ginny smiled as Beth's eyes lit up, and the girl hugged her. The idea had sounded crazy, but maybe it wasn't so insane after all. "Of course I would! I'm gaining just as much from it as you are," Ginny assured her. "Yeah, we can look that up tomorrow. I might not be going into Hogsmeade," she sighed. "I hate Valentine's Day." She shook her head and chuckled to herself a little bit. Ginny picked all her stuff up from off the ground. "I think I'm going to go to dinner now. The task is probably over, and I want to find out what happened. I, err... I left before it was over. I kind of might have, like... punched someone in the face." Ginny giggled and waved to her new friend. "See you at dinner maybe? We should definitely meet tomorrow at breakfast!" With that, she waved goodbye and left the Forbidden Forest. |
