| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. General Information: Full name: Sara Michelle Walsh Nickname(s): none Gender: Female Birthdate: September 12 Age: 15 Year: Fifth Year. Blood: half blood (mother is magic, father is muggle) Wand: 8", oak, Dragon Heartstring Preferred House: Slytherin Appearance: Height: 5'0" Eyes: Blue/Green. Smallish. Hair: Medium Brown, stick straight. Usually worn down or in a low ponytail. Physical Description: Sara is slightly pale, and usually looks even paler because she wears mainly dark clothing. She isn't very attractive, but also isn't hideous. She is pretty skinny, and doesn't eat much. Sara doesn't put much effort into her clothing, because she doesn't really care what she looks like. She goes for function over fashion. Personality: Sara is outspoken and blunt, having no patience for manners or political correctness. She is manipulative and prefers to get inside of others' heads, instead of remaining in her own. Sara tries to be strong and uncaring, but she doesn't usually succeed. She hates this about herself, and considers herself to be very weak. She's a very emotional person, though she never lets herself show it. She tries to complicate things, making herself believe that things are beyond her control and that there is nothing she could do to change things. She is too scared to see things for what they are. Emotions scare her; scare her more than anything, because she never learned how to deal with them. Her mother considered emotions to be a sign of weakness, so she never let Sara see her emotional. Sara is, first and foremost, scared of herself. When she does feels strong emotions, she collapses. She has no idea what to do or what to feel, and becomes needy, though she would never admit it. Sara, as a general rule of thumb, doesn't like people. She sees them as useful, yes, but only as tools or stepping stones. She is afraid to get close to others because she is afraid of opening up. Her connections are shallow at best, and Sara sees herself as alone in the world, something that she sees as unchangable. She tries to be strong and unbothered by this, but she is often plauged with terrible surges of loneliness. When she applies herself to something, she can usually succeed. She doesn't often apply herself, though, because she's very afraid of stress and failure. Her fear holds her back from a lot of things, but she doesn't see this. She would rather not try than try and fail. History: Sara's parents met and married almost immediately. They were deep in love and only dated for two or so months. Sara's father was even supportive of her mother's magic, until Sara was born. He tried to remain supportive, but couldn't bring himself to grow attached to a child he knew that would one day leave to go to a school of magic, then graduate and go to live in a world of magic, neither of which he could ever really be a part of. He left when Sara was six months old. Sara's mother was deeply affected by this, but tried to stay strong for Sara. Not once did Sara ever see her mother cry over the loss of her husband, not once did she even express sorrow. Instead, she threw herself into her work and created the outward appearance of a perfect home. Sure, she was a single mother whose husband ran out on her, but everything in their lives was perfect. Even though it wasn't her fault, Sara always blamed her mother for her father leaving. She couldn't bring herself to blame him, and as a result became unattached to her mother. She cares about her, but in the same way she cares for her great aunt or second grade teacher. Sara doesn't wish her harm, she even wishes her happiness, but she doesn't love her the way she should, and Sara's mother doesn't love Sara the way she should either. Family: Melissa Gellar (mother) Pet(s): none Possessions: none |
