Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Fifth Year. This year, Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event, The Triwizard Tournament! However, these are dark times we live in, for the Dark Lord Azariah Amaranth has escaped the bonds which have kept him in Ministry custody, and has destroyed the Ministry in the plain sight of several muggles, effectively placing the Wizarding World under martial law and placing our very way of life in jeopardy. Strict curfews have been placed on all citizens, and now that school has started, no one--not students or staff--are allowed in or out of Hogwarts until further notice. So cancel any trips out you might have, because all students and staff must remain in, and everyone else must stay out. Now the Dark Lord is in preparation to topple the stability of both worlds and all races; to deal the final, shattering blow to the current world order. Why all this madness; this destruction and anarchy? Just what is Amaranth's ultimate goal? The first task has now ended. Christmas is here and we all know what that means: The Yule Ball will commence tonight. If your character is planning on attending and doesn't already have a date, be sure to snag one before all the good ones are gone! Today (Day 5) is Christmas day, so there is no class. Fifth Year Posts: 35 Group: Slytherin Member #1,218 Joined: November 7, 2009 Gender Male Age 16 Location Three Broomsticks	General Information: Full name: Archibald Emory Nickname(s): Archie, Arch, Arc Gender: Male Birthdate: June 6 Age: 15 Year: Fifth Year Blood: Pureblood Wand: 12 inches, Holly, Dragon Heartstring Preferred House: Slytherin Appearance: Height: 5'9" Eyes: Dark muddy brown, round Hair: Dark brown and oftentimes unkempt but always trimmed regularly Physical Description: Lean and a bit muscly he appears bulky when he wears his school robes. He isn't too tall but has long limbs and arms. His features are very masculine, making many witches chase after him. In fact, he has a scar healing on his left temple because of a curse by a guy who got jealous of him. His best asset are his eyes, which appear to pierce through the thick frame of lashes when they stare. Personality: Having been raised in a pureblood family who follows strict rules and notions, Archie grew up wanting to be free. His family hated Muggles and half-bloods; something he disagrees on but ignores. He spends his time mostly in his room, reading books and listening to music. He mingles with people, but when he feels like they're treating him nicely because of his blood, he politely leaves the conversation. This is the reason why he prefers to keep his blood status hidden, this way, he could get real friends who will like him as he is. Though he appears to be shallow, Archie thinks beyond everything. He believes everything has reason in it, even when the most complex of problems arise. He gets into fights with his father because of this; his father just follows, he doesn't question whether it is logical or not. He is curious about many things, but prefers to keep them to himself and shares only with a couple of people he really trusts. Although quite handsome, Archie prefers to get to know the girls first before he jumps into relationships. He looks at the personality better than he looks at appearance. For him, appearance is just a plus. But that doesn't mean that he isn't a boy who gets blinded by looks. Just recently, he fell for a girl who is very pretty but made him bow to her commands. History: Archie is of pure descent, his ancestors very wealthy and arrogant. His parents met through a gathering of purebloods and were forced to be married by their parents. Though they did not agree at first, they eventually became fond of each other but showed the slightest affection. His whole family follow the traditions and customs very religiously. He is bored with this kind of thinking and living and so he occasionally immerses himself in Muggle activities for the fun of it. He started to levitate himself a few inches above the ground when he was six.
