Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

After this the two share a mutual dislike for eachother, their friendship ending abruptly. -Delaney Lanter meets Justin Loomis and becomes fond of him quickly. She views him as one of her good friends until their friendship starts to turn into something more. -Matthew King, her childhood friend, convinces her to transfer to Hogwarts and they attend the Yule Ball together. Later, he offends her by making a comment about her boyfriend, Justin Loomis. The argument ends in a kiss which makes Delaney realize she has feelings for Matt. She is very much a realist and his imaginative way of thinking and inwardness would probably get very annoying to her. Laney would probably seem pretty boring to him. So I'd say she dislikes him.

I'm thinking Laney and Matt could be childhood friends who grew closer as they entered Hogwarts. Laney knows all the little things about Matt and vice versa. When Laney starts dating Justin it gets really weird for Matt. At one point, he would probably make a comment and Laney would react. However, instead of shutting up like he normally does, he starts yelling back. They keep yelling until the point where he spontaneously kisses her. She slaps him and the two avoid each other until they get a detention together. At that point, Matt apologizes and the two go back to being friends. You can decide if they should date.

Her parents hadn't wanted her to go to Hogwarts at first so she had attended a small magical school in Italy. Maybe, Matt could have been the one who convinced her to transfer, finally? And then they become as close as they were when they were children, but Delaney still doesn't view him romantically, or realize she does. After the argument and the kiss, she can't stop thinking about him, but doesn't want to break up with Justin either. At some point when and if she and Justin break up for any reason, she would tell Matt that she has feelings for him and so on.
