Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

It's all fabulous. I think this is the best Harry Potter RP site I've joined yet (and I must have joined about fifty in September and October alone). The only thing I have a slight issue with is the accesibility of people's character and plot pages. Now, most people are smart cookies and post links to these things in their signatures, or they at least have a link to one which holds a link to the other. But then again, a lot of people don't. Several times, I've tried to find people's character pages or plotlines, and I had to spend fifteen minutes or so surfing through the entire forum, reading the titles and original posters meticulously so I didn't miss what I was looking for. I understand that you can't FORCE people to put it on their signatures, or somewhere else easily accessible, but maybe if there was a link to the character sheet and plotting pages when you click the person's name? Because most of the stuff on the personal pages is pretty useless compared to what you expect to find when you click someone's name. This is just a suggestion, but I think it's a suggestion that would make everything a little easier if it was at all possible to implement it.

Real Name Dave Character Age 17 RP Relationship Status What is this I don't even? RP Location The Room of Requirement	I don't think there's a way for us to add links inside profiles to these threads. Not everyone has one, and even if everyone did, there would be no way to link to them because of the way the thread URLs are. What I normally do is click on the person's name, then in their profile, hover over their name and a dropdown box will appear. From here you can go to "Find topics by member" or something like that, and unless the person is an administrator, chances are they won't have more than a page of topics to their name (which should include their original sign up, their character sheet, and their plot thread if they have posted one). Additionally what you can do is, if you're looking for someone specifically in the individual plots section, hit CTRL+F in your browser and type in their first name. This will allow you to search the page for their name, which should lead you to their plot thread. You might have to go into the second or third pages of the section to find it though. Hope this helps. Edit: I also went ahead and increased the maximum number of threads per section page to 100, so it will make searching easier.
