Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Muttering under his breath about lovesick birds, he dropped his books into his bag, hefted it over his shoulder and exited the classroom.

At least he had his priorities right. "Yeah I managed to finish mine. I just wrote about it being the pure form of magic, and we all draw on it slightly in some way, but that there's still a lot of unused potential." He brushed his fringe from out of his face, sorted his books back into his bag and then placed his hand on Daniela's. "Did you want to get going to next lesson?" He smiled at her whilst thinking, "I hope we last longer than Dave and Precious, if we even get started that is.

Not only had Dave just broken up with Precious, but he seemed interested in her. This was certaintly a unique situation. Aria smiled as Dave winked at her as he left. Looking at Precious, she decided that Precious would be too pre-occupied with Mitch to think of her, so Aria quickly gathered up her books and went to follow Dave, "Bye Precious, I'll see you in next lesson.". Maybe I'll be lucky enough to catch up to him, she thought as Ariana left the classroom

He didn't know what he'd been expecting, but it wasn't that. Mitch felt kind of bad about it too. Maybe he should have done something differently... but the outcome that had happened was what Mitchell had wanted, right? He definitely needed to think this one through, because Mitch had been waiting for this to happen for quite a while, and now that it had... it seemed almost disappointing. McKelvey might have been right in one respect, but Mitchell was no dog, puppet or whatever. With a small smile at Precious, Mitch walked over to his table and gathered up his things. "You might have to hit me later for saying this," Mitch said jokily. "But it's not all bad," Sure, Prec and Dave has split, but that wasn't a bad thing, or at least, from Mitchell's perspective. "See you in Divination, yeah?" Mitch said, with a little hopefulness to his voice. Mitchell slowly exited the Magical Concepts classroom, with a mix of emotions running through his brain. Tick. Boom. Precious watched with wide surprised eyes as Dave left. Did he just dump her? He?! Precious never got dumped. Never. And if she did, they wouldn't be able to live to tell it. Precious wasn't sure if she wanted to scream, throw a book at Dave's retreating back, claw Aria's eyes out, throw herself at Mitch, or just set the whole damn room on fire. But it was all Aria's fault. If the repulsive girl hadn't been there, this wouldn't have happened. Yes, this was Ariana Ashby's fault. Well, that moron was now out of her clique. She was dropped like a hot tamale. OUT. She began to shake as Aria and Mitch left. Aria couldn't leave. Not without Precious' command. The Slytherin wanted to throw a book at her too. No, a knife would be better. Precious stood up from her chair. Watch out, Doomsday is here. Her eyes flickered to all the remaining students in the room. "ALL of you, listen here. None of this leaves this room, or I will personally hunt you down and cut your head off-and I mean it!" Precious yelled.
