Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

We can't have everyone (and in the end, even if we did, there would be newbies popping up left and right and we'd be back in this same discussion). However, if we limit each banner to only one character per person (barring those secondary characters who have major importance/presence or are teachers/KOW/ect.) then we can be a little more fair. We should do what people have been suggesting and hash out just WHO should be on each banner. And they shouldn't all be a "sea of faces" thing (it worked for KOW and the Professors, but all the banners?) The banners thing was my idea in the first place, and I thought it would make the site more attractive. That was the only point in doing it.

On second thought, multiple banners per house may not be THAT bad an idea. Still, people's main characters (the ones they first joined with or use the most) should be considered first along with all the most prominent characters (Ian, Tinsley, Em, Ella, Tristan, !Xabbu, Addie, Kiki, Hellzy, ect. ect. you get my drift). I would prefer only one per house, but looking at the list of characters that are active/prominent in the RP, even weeding out the ones who are no longer active and only using one character per user, the list per house is still pretty long. I actually like the new Slythies one, but I agree it needs the Slytherin crest or something like that. Sorry for my attitude earlier.

Mine was not made to be a slytherin banner, it was made to show the others. Those who are second place. Hell, actually I made it because Dave seemed to really want one with his characer, I can care less if it goes up. So I don't want to add the crest or something like that, of that reason, and the reason that it would probably look like crap. Btw, Preccie, I've checked out Caution some times, but I'm not so fond of that style, and I mostly use it only when I've got problems finding pictures of this and that celeb. I like making my own graphics, and I like the good ol' siggy style at HIRP. XD And if someone makes a secondary Slyth banner, won't we need a secondary of all the others? And please, don't feel obligated to add June in the hufflepuff one, just because I'm on every now and then, add those who are actually important and essential to the plot. ~~because I'll probably disappear again and then it would just be silly.~~ Edited by June Brooks, Oct 16 2009, 01:02:30 AM.
