Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Sierra Fillipelli
Member Avatar
Sixth Year

Student

Full name: Sierra Loretta Fillipelli
Nickname(s): Valentine, affectionate pet name given by her mother, Etta, given by her older siter, Si (Pronounced like the letter C) , given to her by her close friends
Gender: Female
Birthdate: February 19
Age: 15
Year: Fifth Year.
Blood: Pure blood, Sierra's parents are very high profile Italian wizards, both coming from a long line of pureblood socialites. Her parents had an arranged marriage but did in fact grow to love each other.
Wand: 10 inches, Cherry Wood, Cornish Pixie wing. Surprisingly flexible.
Preferred House: Slytherin

Appearance:

Height: 5'7"
Eyes: Sierra has large, green eyes with gold flecks in them. However, the light sometimes hits them a certain way that makes them appear entirely golden.
Hair: She has dark brown hair that goes down to her lower back. Her hair is typically worn down or in a high ponytail. Sierra's hair is naturally straight, but she often puts magical straightening products on it to make it even straighter. This results in a pin-straight look.

Physical Description:
Sierra is extremely tan as a result of her Italian heritage. Many people find her exotic, but other than that they do not find her extremely attractive. She's very slender, but has a moderate of muscle on her body as a result of playing Quidditch with her family and frequent swimming in the lake in her backyard. When not in robes, Sierra enjoys wearing dark wash jeans and green tank tops. She loves wearing dresses and often wears them as well. She also likes the wizarding equivalent of the muggle converse, wearing those with her jeans as well as dresses.

Personality:
Sierra holds the same views as her pureblood parents, ‘Pureblood is better than half bloods and muggleborns'. She enjoys putting people down as a result of her low self-esteem, verbally attacking people as a defense mechanism. However, she would never resort to physical violence, which she finds herself above. Cold and aloof to those who she doesn't know, once you break past her walls and facades she is an insecure and kind person who is fiercely loyal to those who befriend her. As a result of her insecurities she can be swayed towards other people's decision if she thinks that it will make her seem more popular or be better liked. She uses sarcasm freely and doesn't think about the effect rumors will have on people. She is very helpful to those who are deserving of help, and trusting to those who are worthy of her trust. She also has a good sense of humor, sometimes more hurtful than funny, cracking jokes all the time. She enjoys gossiping with friends, and often finds ways to incorporate it into insults. If you listen very closely, her voice is very lightly accented. She has worked very hard to lose her accent, though it is not completely gone, and she is very self conscious about it's existence. Every so often, if she gets extremely close to a person, a happy, cheerful, bubbly girl comes out of her shell. However, very few people other than her family have been able to see that side of her.

History:
Gabriella Archangelo and Luigi Fillipelli both went to Hogwarts. Gabriella was in Gryffindor and Luigi was in Slytherin, and while there the two hated each other with a burning passion. However, once they left Hogwarts, they discovered that their parents had arranged a marriage between them. The two fought to try to get them to reverse the decision, but their parents refused. Nine months later, the two of them were married. The two frequently attempted to obtain divorce papers, but were unable to contact the right person who could supply them. Though nobody was quite sure how it happened, three months later the fighting and divorce attempts simply ceased. Nine months later, Sierra's older sister, Giovanna was born. Giovanna was the apple of her parent's eye, bubbly, blonde, outgoing, constantly cheerful. Praised because of her beauty, she was given anything she wanted, and thought very highly of herself. She was sent to a prestigious Italian wizarding school, as was the wish of her Grandparents. A year after her birth, Sierra was born, and her parents had a new child to spoil. With tan skin, and dark hair, she was an exotic looking child, the polar opposite of Giovanna. Quiet, secluded, and introverted, Sierra constantly grew up being compared to Giovanna, which resulted in her low self-esteem as a teenager. However, neither sister is extremely jealous of each other, having a slight rivalry compared to a blowout feud. Sierra is very close to her grandparents, adopting their biased views and old prejudices. As a result, she is the stereotypical pureblood, holding on to the notion that pure is best and that muggleborns, half bloods, and blood traitors are the worst scum on the planet. Gabriella was relatively wary of this, and attempted to keep Sierra from her grandparents in the hope that it might change her views to spend time apart. That seemed to work for a little bit, but every so often her old attitude would arise. One day, she seemed to just snap and her new, cheerful attitude disappeared. Gabriella gave up trying, and instead embraced her daughter's new personality with open arms. Luigi found no problems with his daughter's attitude, as it was the same attitude he had as a child. When at home, Sierra adopts a relatively different personality, acting more like her sister than she does at Hogwarts. Luigi is convinced that her varying personalities are the result of highly prejudiced notions at Hogwarts. He has been considering transferring her to the same school as Giovanna if her self esteem doesn't improve.

Family:
Gabriella Fillipelli, Mother
Luigi Fillipelli, Father
Giovanna Fillipelli, Older Sister

Pet(s): Barn Owl named Luca
Possessions: Nimbus 2000, a ring with the family crest on it, dress robes, secrecy sensor, remembrall
