Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? They go after her (Edward would likely be angry because she's acting like this - e.g. being flirty around boys and freak out when he's with one girl), I think he could leave after (breaking) the fight and the two girls might do the realizing/admitting. That way he wouldn't know what Scarlett saw and we could enlighten him in summer as we planned? And maybe if he touched Scarlett, she could find out something about him as well.

I think i'll make that day the day Jess and Will split up. I think if Edward were to stop the fight Jess would just storm off, I don't think she'd stick around. So maybe Scarlett see's how much Jess likes him and possibly goes after her? Or if Edward did go off before Jess had the chance to Jess would try to go after him.

She tries to be nice to everyone and they are in the same house sooooo y'know. Jarrette Loefler- Probably friends- maybe even since first year? I could see that. Royce Merlotte- Eh... maybe friends? It's not impossible, but they would probably be more acquaintances. Jaimie-Duke Attson- Probably not close, but they might know each other. Emma Carter- Emma is a little bit dull, but a good friend- we could say they are friends. Walter Beck- I wouldn't mind seeing these two in a relationship of some kind if you can fit it in- what do you think? I know, a little boring!

Natalie - Of course! I'm sure they'd get along nicely. Jarette and Beth have similar personalities in some aspects. Maybe we could plan something with a Slytherin (e.g. Alexa?) when they would help out each other. So, yeah, old friends but not overly close now, I'd say. Royce - I kinda like him, but being in different houses, and Beth not being overly sociable... She wouldn't likely approach him (we might do something with Jarette being his enemy) Jaimie - maybe they know of each other because of Edward (Beth's former best friend) (BTW, you have Jaimie under Emma in your siggy ^^) Emma seems like a great girl - in Beth's eyes she would. I'm just not sure how would they get to know each other. Anyway, I think they could be really good friends, we'd just need to find a way for them to get to know each other. - I just noticed I already have her down as acquaintance, heh And Walter... hmm. Beth can't stand a thought of being in relationship with someone at the moment. Maybe we could do a thing where she would talk to Walter, thinking they were friends, and he would try to take it further, startling her by that? She is usually okay around boys but gets nervous/scared when they happen to seem 'interested'. Oh, and add Emma: I noticed she has authority issues, so maybe we could have a small RP between her and Blackwood (who could catch her in the corridors after curfew?) if you were interested.

Everything sounds good, I especially like the ideas with Jarrette and Emma! I know it's a little difficult sometimes to get an adult involved right now. I don't know how you could use her for him, but I think it would be interesting- did you have anything specific in mind? Cos to be honest, all I can think of is a little on the twisted side, and though it would be interesting to plot out and roleplay it's a little risky maybe. And Walter is pretty good about letting someone know how he feels, so if we do get them to talk and become closer till he likes her (Or- say that they were distant friends already and start to get a bit closer,) he would just bring it up and surprise her. And what did you have in mind for Emma and Septimus? I had a few small ideas, depending on what she would be doing and how she would react to him. We could involve an NPC Auror but with Emma it might be better without them (just because she has those authority issues). But tell me yours! ^^ We could say they already know each other, and maybe Walter likes her a bit? Then we could proceed with that plot right away. But I wouldn't mind extending it either.

So, yeah, click here if you're interested because it's like 6 times longer now, lol. Also, I'm looking for someone to fill a space in her romance section between the first and second generation. I would like her to start dating someone, only to part later with some bad blood between them. It would be mainly Beth's fault, as she wouldn't love that person (despite trying to), but he could contribute by not being very nice about it ^^ It would be even better if that person had some role in second generation.

I was just thinking Beth doesn't have a best friend ATM. Her relationship with Alfie has grown sour ('cause she luvs him and he's marrying Alexa, and he kinda kissed Beth last month, which made her realize how much it affects her, so she avoids him now - in short) and I haven't RPed with Rod in over a year. She is going to have a male best friend later and, much like Jessica, she usually gets along better with guys. Which is why this could work. They could like admit things to each other they wouldn't say to anybody else - therefore Jess could be the only person who would know of (/suspect) Beth's true feelings for Alf. Also, I would really like Beth to have a friend who would force/persuade her into things, like getting a new haircut or making her more sociable (because she's not, really). Maybe even daring her to ask some guy out, lol. And in return, Beth could lend her her broom and show/teach her some Beater skills ^^ Well, and as for being in different houses, maybe they could have gotten closer while Beth hung out with Alf. So.. whaddya think?
