Read Today's Daily Prophet: Knights of Walpurgis attack Hogwarts; Belleford steps down as Hogwarts closes until further notice
Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Taking Fera's hand, Margo hoisted herself up and brushed off her uniform. "Oh today? Today would be the utter stupidity of the human race. A few select humans - humans being a loose term - in particular." She leaned up against the tree next to Collin, not particularly thrilled with being this close to someone like him, but thoroughly tired out, and therefore she put up with it.. Then Margo nodded her head towards Collin. "But he's helping the cause along quite nicely, if I do say so myself."

"Yeah, well You-Know-Who escaped from their custody already. And he destroyed the Ministry, I doubt they'll be up and running 'buisness as usual' by the time the holidays get here, but we can hope eh?" Abe said, his eyes flashing to a gaggle of students clustered around a tree. One was seriously red-headed, the poor girl. Abe shrugged, the drama some people caused was nauseating. Rolling his eyes and averting them, Abe played with a few spades of green grass.

"So, you're spending the holiday's with Rodrigo? You must be excited." Excited to get away from your crazy family. Abe was being good though, a slip of the tongue and June would be stalking off. So he maintained his current 'nice guy' attitude, honestly curious about June's extra-curricular activities.

Collin shoved himself away from the tree, letting the armless, eyeless weirdo he recalled was named Fera push him aside. "You know, I really don't think you know how to interact with people," he said, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "First the Great Hall scandal, now just pushing me out of the way like you own the grounds?" he asked. "I didn't mean to cause a disturbance, my apologies," he said, sounding more strangled with anger than apologetic.

"Do your deformities hinder your ability to have a normal conversation with people?" he asked raising an eyebrow. He smirked at her comment on the Beauxbatons. "Are you jealous that the Frenchies have more of a chance with me than an obnoxious pile of missing limbs does?" he asked. This caused a smattering of giggles from the Beauxbatons at being called 'Frenchies' and he turned to wink at them, then turning back to glare at the red headed duo.

June nodded, "Yeah, it'll be really fun, I mean, Italy? If that isn't awesome, then I don't know." She looked over to the trees as well, rolling her eyes. There was a slytherin and some red-heads, who she indentified as Fera Collis and Margo Wright. She didn't really care, "It will be nice to see how real families are, I don't think I'll stand being home," With a grin, June asked, "I guess you know my family rather well, but I don't know anything about yours, how're they?"

Now that she thought of it, June realised how interesting it was. She hadn't paid any attention to thinking where he came from, or what his past was like...

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that you qualified as a person. 'Cause she's interacting with me just fine." Margo stepped forward as menencinly as she could. "But then again, I don't expect you to know how converse with anyone but your gold-digging whores over there." She jerked a finger towards the Beauxbatons and leaned in closer. "Let's face it honey, you don't have any other attractive qualities. Unless being a shallow, self-absorbed, immature, ignorant, ugly, cold-hearted GIT is suddenly a turn on." Now Margo was only a few inches from his face. "So why don't you take sorry arse and go find someone who cares?"

Abe grimaced, his family was pure-blooded and as far as he was aware, they were just like any other wizarding family. Raising a shoulder and letting it fall, Abe spoke. "Well, I have a younger sister...Kale. She's four, almost five. My mum just wrote and told me she started levitating the furniture. Mum and dad were real proud - thought she might have been a squib, you know? And Heaven forbid we had a Squib in the family!" Abe spat bitterly, his voice coated in distaste. His parents Scarlet and Travis didn't care about their kids enough - the only thing they cared about was maintaining their blood-status.

"I don't know, uhm. Me and my dad used to go camping a lot. At first we tried to do it the muggle way, but dad was really bad at doing stuff without magic. We used to travel all over looking for magical creatures. It was awesome. But we haven't gone in a really long time. And my mum, well she just stays home and takes care of Kale. And my dad works for the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. That's really it." Abe told in a dull, uninterested voice. His family was typical. There was nothing different about them, well...not them - maybe there was something different about Abe but his family was boring and mundane.

Fera Collis

Fera gritted her teeth, what did he know. She didn't give a knut what people thought of her, "I see no reason to beat the bush with polite remarks when the person in question is nothing more that a-" She allowed Margo to step forward, and come with her verbal attack. With a smirk, she added, "Oh gee, that really stung. Please, I've heard first year olds come with better insults after I told them that the Gryffindor Password was 'Petrificus Totalus' and had to be said with your wand directed at yourself, and they weren't even able to talk."

"And why the hell would I care who had a chance with you? Merlin, I even pity that girl who ends up with some inbred bastard like you,"

Collin's eyes widened and he started glaring daggers at the girls. "If you're the only person she interacts well with, then perhaps you don't qualify as a person and that's why she likes you," he suggested menacingly. What had this turned into? All he'd wanted to do was see what the girl was so angry about. He was really innocent. It had been a joke! Didn't these Gryffindors have any sense of humor?

He heard the Beauxbatons pout audibly in protest to the girl's words, one shrieking something in French. "And you accuse me of being a git?" he asked, the color rising in his face, "At least I don't go about spewing insults at people who are innocent passers-by," he said, slightly baring his teeth in such a fury. He clenched and unclenched his fists angrily, "Don't act like you know me," he said, eyes wide. She'd hit his sore spot. The place he lacked in confidence. Before he knew what was happening, he'd swung his fist around towards the red headed brat.

June smiled towards him, trying to imagine a little Abe-lookalike, "Aw, I've always wondered how it was to have a little sister," But, judging by his tone, Abe wasn't that fond of this family. She didn't want to make him uncomfortable, and instead she just nodded, imagining Abe going camping, or hunting for magical animals. Her parents weren't half as cool.

"So they're pretty much normal?" She fixed her skirt, making herself ready to raise herself up, "I think the task is starting soon," Once standing up, June stuck out her tounge, laughing, "And I won't need help brushing off the grass off my skirt, just so its said,"

Margo scoffed at Collin's weak attempt at insulting her. "Hey, at least I'm liked. Whatever it takes." Then she stompted her feet, thrust her hands downwards, and imitated the obnoixious whining noise the French girls were making. "That's definatly attractive. I know what you see in them."

"Oh yes, my apologies. I simply mistook deformities and pile of missing limbs as insults. Silly me!" Margo stepped backward to rejoin Fera. "And by the way, I'll act however the hell I wanna ac-" Margo broke off as Collins fist collided with the side of her head. She fell to the ground and just barely caught herself before she slammed her face into the dirt. Margo grit her teeth and pushed herself up into a standing position once again, determined not to show the pain she was in, though the side of her face was throbbing and probably covered in a giant bruise.

Abe too stood up, "Aw, shucks." He said, swinging is arm in front of him as he spoke, snapping his fingers and then smiling broadly. "Just in case you change your mind, I'm always available." Abe assured her, glancing towards the Forbidden Forest where the First Task was being held. He grimaced slightly, as he witnessed the gang of students he noticed earlier. The boy was about to take a swing at one of the girls - the red headed one. The other one, well Abe didn't blame the boy for not hitting her she was armless.

Shaking his head in disgrace, Abe growled, "You'd think that'd boy know better than to hit a girl. Obviously he comes from a country where it's okay to be rude to people..." Abe eyed the Beauxbaton's girls passing through the grass between Abe and June, and the group gathered by the tree, "Probably French," Abe stage-whispered to June, winking coyly at the passing French ladies. "Do you want to go down to the task together, I don't know if I'm supposed to meet Emm..." Abe stopped, looking sheepish before quickly retracing his steps.

"So, want to go down together?" He amended, sending a charming smile in June's direction. He and Emma hadn't made definite plans, in fact, they hadn't really resolved anything - they sort of just...kissed and left each other, knowing that they'd both be back for more. That was what was amazing, the fact that Emma trusted Abe enough, knew him well enough that she didn't have to think twice - she knew he would return to her. Abe wondered vaguely what she was doing, before realizing who he was still with.

"You did not just hit her," sneered Fera, too angry to turn and help Margo up, "Yes, I might be a ugly cripple, a pile of missing limbs, but that does not mean that I'm going to take everything you throw at me," She stood face to face with him, trying to calm herself down, "Do what ever the f*ck you want to me, and I'll just return it, but hit my friend, and you're going to regret your miserable little life,"

With that, Fera's fist quickly zoomed towards his face, aiming for the nose, before quickly ending up next to it, as if she had missed. What she hoped he didn't realise, what that it was a distraction, for at the same time, her knee was getting ready to permanently sterilize this guy. Whoops.

Collin backed up, utterly stunned by what he had done. He felt a horrible lurching sensation in the pit of his stomach. It was a mixture of guilt and the desire to apologize profusely, and even some lingering anger at the girl. But what had he done? For once in his life he felt like he should hide, just run from the rest of the world and not be seen. A few of the Beauxbatons girls tsked and scattered, sensing the commotion.

He barely registered what Fera had said, zoned out in his misery mode, feeling like an utter... well, he felt like everything the girls had been calling him already. He was disgusted with himself. He was supposed to be kind, charming to girls, even if they were a pack of missing limbs and a... whatever that other one was. He was pitying himself still...

...until Fera's punch almost collided with his cheek. But the fact that she'd tried it made him feel like even more of a lowlife. He twisted out of the girl's reach before they could try to inflict any more pain on him, or him them, unfortunately, he was a bit too late.

He hadn't seen Fera's knee assault, but now that he had, it was too late. Luckily, he'd managed to avoid it some, but he still felt a large wave of nausea as his 'area' exploded in pain. He shouted out loudly and involuntarily at the immense amount of pain that he felt, almost numbing him. It took all his dignity and physical effort to keep from falling to the ground and wallowing in the pain. His eyes watering and his privates numb, he stood up as tall as he could muster, trying not to be too doubled over in the pain.

Collin slammed Fera against the tree, glaring down at her, his face inches from hers, his eyes wide and bloodshot. "You... imbecile," he whispered, his voice cracking from the pain. His face was barely a half inch away from hers now. "You know, any other girl would love to be in such a position," he said, grimacing. "But I can tell you don't like it," he said, smirking as best he could as he fought the pain, holding her arm tight against her side. He was keeping an eye on Margo from the corner of his eye. No more tricks.

June laughed, brushing off the grass herself. Watching the slytherin hit Margo, June felt a need to run over and help Margo up, but she suppressed it, not wanting to leave Abe. She laughed at his comment on the french, before smiling ever so sweetly at the girls, "Seems like Collis is taking charge of it though-" June turned to look closer, and saw Fera punch, and miss, but suddenly noticed the girls knee, "Oh no, she is not going to..." She poked Abe in the ribs with her elbow, "Isn't that supposed to hurt... Like, very bad? Gee, I don't want to be in the slytherins shoes, he really shouldn't have hit Margo,"

"So, want to go down together?" June blinked. Then she blinked once more. Then she decided to pinch herself, to check if it was a dream. The 'ow!' escaping her lips seconds later told her enough. Abe had just asked her. Just as friends... Still, he had asked her. Almost a little to quick, she answered, "Sure," before she decided to add, "Why not?" She hadn't noticed the bit about Emma, and one could ponder if it was because she actually didn't hear it, or if she just didn't want to hear it.

Her chain of thought was suddenly interupted by a howl of pain, and the sound of someone getting slammed into a tree, "Oh. My. God." She stared towards them, feeling bad for Collin, and... Both, actually.

Aiden Minami

Aiden was very surprised to hear that Amaya hadn't really acquired that many friends. He didn't see why she wouldn't have. She was kind, smart, a little quiet to start with, but otherwise a very good person, from what he'd already experienced. He couldn't do anything, really, other than offering her a smile. He could at least be her friend. That would be at least one, right?

Suddenly, Amaya started speaking again. But, what she said was rather unexpected. He blinked, thinking about it for a moment. Why wouldn't he want to spend more time with her? "Yeah, of course!" he replied, grinning over at her. He kicked a rock along as he walked. "You know, I was just thinking the same thing. You're really nice, and spending more time together would be awesome. When it's convenient…"

He gave a quiet chuckle. Did he just ask a girl out on a date? It was normally more direct than that. He normally just…asked. But now it was, "I would like to spend more time with you." Was that a Japanese custom? He pursed his lips, thinking about it. He really couldn't decide what he'd just done.

Fera Collis
Fifth Year

Fera's face bore a grin of pure, sick pleasure. Watching his eyes water was too fun, too satisfy-

"Ugh!" was all Fera came with when she was suddenly slammed into a tree, a halfcrazed face only inches from her own. She struggled to get free, hissing and growling, "Let go of me," she sneered, trying to weasel her way out, kicking towards his legs, feeling a deep, pulsating pain in the back of her head. All Fera wanted was some peace, not to be pinned to some stupid tree.

Searching for a way to get him off her, she tried to bite the arm holding hers, "At least-" Fera tried rip her arm away, grimacing of the pain, "give me," her voice was getting slurred, her mind fogged. Pain... "The chance to" Fera noticed that something wet was running from her nose... And her ears, and her eyes, "fight back..." The cobber taste of blood hit her tounge, and Fera panicked, not sure what had happened. Her neck was so stiff, and everything was far too bright, she had to keep her eyelids almost completely closed. The muscles of her body kept tightening, then untightening, "What did you do...?" She felt like she was about to throw up. She felt like crap...

What had felt like hours, had only been a couple seconds. Then, her eyes slid together, and her body became limp.

OOC: I think I got the syptoms right...

Margo watched in horror as Fera - well she wasn't exactly sure what happened to Fera. Way, way worse. She was sure she had to get Collin off of her, though. This was even worse than yesterday. Rushing forward, Margo screamed at the top of her lungs. "Get off of her!" She punched, kicked, clawed at Collin. Anything to get him off her friend. "Get off of her! Get off of her!"

Collin was numb. Numb. He couldn't feel a thing, let alone think. Even so, thousands of thoughts seemed to be whirring through his mind at once. Only pieces of them making sense.

Margo... Fera... tree... me... pain... blood?

All he'd wanted was to figure out what was wrong with Margo in the first place. Even after all of that, he still had no idea what the tree-kicking had been about. Now what was happening to Fera?! As she fell limp in his arms, he felt like he was about to pass out as well. But that wouldn't solve anything. Suddenly he was aware of Margo's kicking, clawing, and punching his back. It didn't hurt much. He was used to bumps and bruises. Really, it was doing more damage to his clothes than it was his body.

He turned around and swatted Margo away. "Look, I'm not trying to hurt her, okay?" he said, his voice cracking even more. He was done with that. Moreso, he was really cradling Fera in his arms, trying not to kill her. He was almost crying. Collin Wickham! Crying! Well, almost. Close to it anyway. "I'm..." Sorry? Yes, that was what he was. But to say it? No! She'd deserved it! But he never meant to get so carried away. Instead, Collin shifted the limp Fera so that he was carrying her, unsure what to do, still completely numb with pain, bruised all over, covered in both his and Fera's blood, shirt ripped to shreds, thanks to Margo. Now only one string of thoughts flowed through his head.

What did I do?

You're not hurting her? You've got a girl in your arms that could be dying for all you know and all you care about is clearing your name?!?

"Ok fine! You're not hurting her! So do something!" Margo stood there, waiting for Collin to do something. Anything. Show some sense at all whatsoever. He just stood there, shifting Fera and looking confused. "The infirmary! Go! Now! Hurry!" As extra incentive, Margo got behind Collin and began shoving him in the direction of the castle, much like she had done to Gabe just a little bit before. If the situation were differant, this would've made her angry, or sad even, but know all Margo could think about was the bleeding girl in Collin's arms.

Abe winced slightly, watching from a safe distance as the Slytherin boy was kneed below the belt. Abe's legs locked instantaneously, almost as if he himself had been kneed. "June, image the worst pain you could ever possibly feel in the entire world. And then double it." He informed her. Abe had endured the pain many times in his life, mostly from ex-girlfriends, or girls who thought they were his girlfriends, or girls he had never spoken to again after their ... interaction. Familiar pain, yet not welcomed. No guy deserved that, no matter what he had done - it was so horrid it should have been illegal, criminal, triable by law.

"Do you think we should see if everything is ok?" Abe asked tentively, eyeing the armless girl with distrust. She knew pain, that was clear from her wounds, but one would think that a person who know excruciating pain would not want to be the bearer of it. Abe grabbed June's hand without waiting for her reply and began tugging her a bit. "Unless, you don't want to..." He added, as he stopped, squeezing her hand slightly.
