| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. It was colder than Aiden had planned outside. That scarf he'd thought about in the common room was starting to sound like a really good idea. Thanks, lazy ass, he commented in his head. Now your cold, and there's nothing you can do about it. He stuck his hands in his pockets again, his shoulders hunching just slightly. How could it be cold when it was sunny out? Winter never made sense to him. And...wasn't it a little early for winter, anyway? That's what he got for not checking the weather section of the Prophet. Though, he was pretty certain that most everyone else wasn't checking that section either. Not after the front page. Tossing his head to flick hair out of his eyes, he turned around to walk backwards and face June, who he had lead out of the Great Hall. He had to think of something that wasn't about the article to talk about. Something exciting, but not the triwizard tournament. That was too talked about. And talking about school was just...boring. And the weather was to common, though it was unusually cold. He had to stop thinking about the chill, or else he'd want to go back inside! So, he changed the subject in his mind and asked without thinking, "So, June, what's your type of guy?" As soon as he said it, though, he realized his potential big mistake. Especially since he'd really just met the girl (though, had that stopped him in the past? NO!). But, what was said was said. He didn't make any move to correct himself, but instead continued walking backwards towards the lake, waiting for June's answer. |

June came out, and was glad she was wearing her scarf, but looking over at Aiden, she felt bad, she didn't want him to freeze. Silently, she took of her scarf, rolled it out and handed him one end of her long scarf, and then she fastened the other around her neck. She nodded for him to take it, "I don't want you to get a cold, theres enough bad things happening already." With a sad smile, she looked over the lake, wondering what they should talk about. She didn't want to depress him or herself more so- "So, June, what's your type of guy?"- June looked at him, big eyed, "What?" She blinked, once, twice, "Do you really want to know that?" June could answer of course, Normally I fall for good looking guys, mostly guys I really shouldn't fall in love with. Such as Abe Halifax. She laughed, honestly, what could happen? He'd get a bad idea of her? Honestly, what did it matter. With a smile, she said, "My type would have to be goodlooking, fun to be with... What type of girls you like?" |

Aiden was a bit surprised at the offering of half the scarf. Sahring something like that already? My my, weren't they moving fast? He accepted the offer, though, rarely one to say no to something like that from a girl. He wrapped the end offered to him around his neck. It was a little awkward, walking like that with a scarf connecting them, but it did make him a little warmer. He spun a 180 so he was walking next to June again instead of infront of her and backwards. This way, he could see where he was walking. He couldn't hold back a slight chuckle that made his shoulders hunch further for a moment. "Good looking, huh?" he asked. Did her telling him that mean that he wasn't good looking? Or did it mean he was, and she was just messing with him? He couldn't figure it out. Hearing her return the question, he sucked air sharply through his teeth, making a hissing noise as he thought. What would he say to that? An honest answer would be: blonde, busty, and in a bikini. But that was so shallow, and if he was here, trying to put the moves on a girl (when he should have really been worrying about other things), shallow really wasn't the way to go. Though she had said "good looking," so he started with, "Cute," then added, "And strong willed. Someone who's not afraid to say what they're thinking, no matter the situation." So, that was true, too. The last was a quality he admired in anyone, not just girls. But a girl like that would be nice. |

June giggled, waiting for his answer. When it came, June nodded. Cute. She knew she was cute, but cute just was boring. Anyone could be cute. The next, she knew wasn't her at all. She wasn't strongwilled, she'd easily change her opinion if it was needed, and was rather naive. And June almost never dared say what she thought. Her thoughts were too rude most of the time, "Cool, yet you're make me sound pretty shallow though," the dark lord had completely dissapeared from her mind, it wasn't even lurking in the back. The nice thing with going after your heart.... With a grin, June said, "Ok, new question. What would your favourite outfit be on a girl?" June smirked, wondering what he'd answer. |

Aiden thought to himself, looking up at the sky for a moment. Shallow? Oh, he was shallow as hell, he just knew what to say at the right times. He wasn't an idiot, though why did he really care what this girl thought of him? Was it really all because she was cute and blonde? Oh, he was more shallow than he realized. he was so caught up in wondering why he cared so much to get on this girl's good side, that he wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying anymore. So, when the question was asked, his first reaction was, "Oh, a bikini, definitely." He blinked, then laughed. "Damn, you got me!" he said, taking his eyes away from the sky. Had she been a guy friend, he would have punched her on the shoulder. But, he would never hit a girl. Ever. He was better than that. One hand slipped out of his pocket and he pulled at the blond streak at the base of his neck, right behind his right ear. "No taking it back now, I guess," he then said, still laughing lightly at his mistake. As with June, he was no longer thinking about the Dark Lord. Instead, he was having a fun time, beside the lake, talking with a new found friend. He didn't have many friends in other houses yet, so this was a good thing for him. And she was still cute. And still blonde. Score~! "Your turn, June-bug," he said, nodding sharply to her. "What do you like to see guys in, huh?" |

June laughed, "A bikini? How sweet," with a grin, June straightened herself up, "Hm, I think that boys look really nice in suits, or" June bit her lip, and muttered the last, thinking she ought to be honest since he was, "pyjamas," she blushed, and smiled sheepishly, "I don't know why, but pyjamas are nice. Its sort of like a informal suit, and it says quite a lot about the person who wears it," June giggled. Aiden was fun, just like Rodrigo, and it was like she could just talk to him. She didn't worry about what she said right now, it was like... She beamed, "Ok, I'll let you come up with the next one," |

Suits or pyjamas? What an odd choice, in his opinion. Though, he did always hear that girls liked men in suits. He looked down at his own outfit, untucked and lazily buttoned. No, that didn't at all count as a suit. And he then thought about his pyjamas. A pair of jersey pants and a loose tee. Did that mean he was a messy person? Well, he wasn't exactly tidy, other than his hair, but he wasn't a total pig-sty, either. He shrugged to himself. Well, she could like what she liked, he wasn't going to say anything about it, though he might call her "Pyjama" from now on. After all, it was rather fun to say. "Oh, I'm no good with this kind of thing," he said, sucking his teeth and thinking. "So, Pyjama, I already know you like good looking, fun guys in suits. But what color hair and eyes do they have to have? How tall? What kind of body type?" They were all serious questions, since he figured he might be able to find out just who this girl liked if he kept asking, but some of the inflection in his voice started to show that he was getting silly with asking these things. It was becoming a fun game for him, swapping questions about the opposite gender. It was already proven that they were both a bit shallow ("a bit" being the wrong phrase for his side of things), so why not joke about it all? |

June laughed, so her new nickname was pyjama. Great, "Haircolour, preferably dark, but I'm rather open there, eyes are nice any colour," June straightened out her skirt, "Taller than me, but most people already are. Not so tall that I need to stand on a desk to be face to face though. Body type, they should be fit, but not muscle-ish, enough for perhaps a nice stomach, but not body-builder type," June imagined her dream boy, and giggled again. Medium toned skin, nice body, dark hair, tall. June shook away the image which came to her. No. That can't be my dream boy. No, no. no. With a slight motion, June waved her arms as to help the thought escape, "out, out, out". Rodrigo was NOT her dream boy, it was simply gross. He was her best friend. She turned towards Aidan, "Bad mental image, sorry. Ok, hug, kiss, make out or...?" She grinned diabolically, wondering what the boy would answer. |

So she liked the tall, dark, and handsome type, eh? Aiden tried to think of boys who fit that category. Naturally, he thought of himself, but there were a few others that came to mind. When she started waving her arms, he pulled away slightly, almost getting choked by the scarf that connected them, but he didn't want to get hit by her waving hands. Apparently, she had thought of someone that wasn't who she wanted to think of. Oh, but who was that? Laughing, he realized then that he had lost all interest in trying to sneak this girl away for a nice kiss or two, and was more interested in just being friends with her. This was a total first. But, somehow, he really didn't mind it. Having a female friend might be helpful in the end. hearing her question, he grinned too. "I'd like to say I'm experienced enough, buuut I'm going to have to stay with 'make out' for now," he said, emphasizing the last two words. "For now." Yes, one day, he'd find the right girl and... Totally being silly now, he tossed serious questions to the wind. "Boxers, briefs, or otherwise? What does he have to be wearing for you, Pyjama?" he asked, nudging her slightly with his elbow. If she was getting down and dirty with the questions, he was going to start slipping too. |

June's jaw fell at the last question. They were getting worse and worse, still, it was fun. "Oh dear, thats hard... I haven't seen much boys in their underwear to be honest," June laughed, "That... Came out wrong," She blushed, trying not to come off like some girl who'd slept with... June tried not to think about it, "Oh well, I'd have to say... Boxers? Seeing a boy in breifs would be somewhat like a tights, and boys no NOT look good in tights," June bit her lip, "you're nasty, you know. Comeback time," Time for the little blondie to figure out the worst question ever. "Don't hate me for this, ok?" June took a deep breath, "What type of protection do you prefer?" June bit her lip, blushing wildly, "I can't believe I just asked that! You must be a very bad influence Aidan," she pretended to scorn him, before giggling. |

Aiden grinned wildly at how flustered he seemed to make June at first. He was good with that sort of thing, though normally, it happened by accident. This time, he was actually trying to get June to blush. It was all part of this silly questioning game that he was playing. And she chose boxers. Good, because tighty-whities were just stupid. And, like she said, they were a lot like tights. Men just couldn't expect to look good when wearing them. Being given the comment that he was nasty, he only laughed. He sure was, when it came down to it. Oh, her question was a good one. A hard one, too. He'd never actually...done it, so it was really hard to answer truthfully. He supposed he'd go with the fallback, so as not to make himself look like more of a fool than he already did. "Well, condoms, naturally," as if it were an easy question. In reality, though, he was trying his hardest not to have his cheeks color, too. That was a pretty embarrassing question to answer. He chewed his tongue, adding, "I really am a terrible influence, aren't I?" Now it was his turn for a comeback. He wanted to see just how red June's face would go. The closer to "cherry" the more points he scored for himself. "So this dream guy is good looking, fun to be around, wears a suit, has dark hair, any color eyes, is taller than you, and is wearing boxers. But the real question is this: just how big is he?" He laughed again at his own question. Maybe that was taking it a bit too far. ((OOC: Mods and admins, if that really is going to far, tell me, and I'll stop. Just trying to stay in character ^_^;)) Edited by Aiden Minami, Jul 30 2009, 06:57:07 PM.

She poked him in the ribs, "Yes, noone wants a STH," said June, before sticking her tounge out. With a laugh, she kicked a pebble, smiling, "Terrible," she lifted her hand to her head, "Oh, the poor sanity of my untouched mind, you are polluting it with your words of pervertingness," June giggled, "I don't think its a word, though, but who cares!" "That sounds so wrong," the little blonde girl flushed even more when she heard how it came out. It sounded so weird when he said it, "How big? Didn't I answer that, taller than me, strong, but not body-" June suddenly turned a deep red shade, she had never blushed so much all her life, and June blushed a lot. Her ears were one of the most vibrant shades of red she could imagine, quickly, she tried to hide it, "Oh my god, you did NOT just ask that," "That is SO CRUEL, how am I supposed to know that?!" June peeked out from between her fingers, "How am I supposed to answer that? I haven't... You must be the King of Pervertingness, Aidan," she winced, "I mean, does it matter?" June cringed even more when her mind added a its how you use it. The King of Pervertingness, must he die young and rot forever, had spoiled her little innocent mind. June would never, ever get these thoughts before, "Whats the price of not answering?" June suddenly regretted saying that, now she just handed Aidan the opportunity to give her the worst possible 'punishment' for not answering, served to him on a silver plate. Great. Ella walked out of the heavy oak doors, barely aware of the fact that she was outside on a cold, November morning wearing only her school robes. She felt...confused. Well, no, that wasn't the right word...she knew exactly what was going on, she just didn't know why...or rather, didn't want to admit why. She had never been a particuarly brave person. Sure, she had a temper and would often do things on impulse, but if she actually though about doing something beforehand, she rarely did anything risky. Particuarly where Dark Magic was involved, or people who were known to use Dark Magic--it had been three years since Yvette had attacked her, but that didn't seem to matter. She was terrified of it! So, in turn, she had slowly become afraid of her housemates...and what they would do to her if she continued acting the way she had been. At this thought, Ella hugged her knees to her chest (she had somehow ended up sitting against a tree, too wrapped up in her thoughts to notice) and looked at the lake. However long she had been acting on this fear, she had yet to admit it to herself...until now. She sighed, her eyes drifting towards the spot on the ship where she had met Piotr. Perhaps she should owl her mother, just to make sure...but surely she would have heard by now...her dad could take care of himself, right? He was fine, he had to be...he wasn't at the trial, and she doubted that even he would stay that late... She kept up a stream of firm, hopeful thoughts, all the while twirling a strand of hair around her finger. |

Pervertingness. No, that definitely wasn't a word, but it made Aiden laugh again, none the less. June obviously hadn't got his question at first. And, he was about to explain when she went the most brilliant shade of red he'd ever seen a girl turn out of embarassment or anger (and he could make a girl turn pretty damn red with anger). He had to clutch his stomach, he started laughing so hard. One hundred points. A perfect score for the most "cherry" he'd ever gotten out of a girl. No, it didn't matter, really. That was the point of this conversation now: nothing mattered, and it was keeping their minds off of larger scale, more dangerous things. Finally calming down from his fit of laughter, he had to cough once so he wasn't chuckling when he told June her punishment. He had it all sorted out. Not that it was about "getting the girl" or anything, but if she wouldn't answer the question, he could at least say, "One kiss! Right here, Pyjama." He then proceded to point to his right cheek, directly below his eye and on the same level as the tip of his nose. Something caught the corner of his eye and he turned his head to see a girl. This girl did not seem very happy at all, just in the manner that she was walking alone to sit under a tree. "Hey, who's that?" he asked, not being able to recall a name. "You know her? Should we...go say something?" He, of course, automatically assumed that this girl under the tree was upset from what had been seen in the papers. He was blindly oblivious to the fact that this girl was struggling so hard internally over the people in thair own school. |

June forgot her brilliant red shade when she saw Aidan laugh, and joined him pretty soon. June wasn't sure how long they laughed. It could have been seconds, or it could have been a hour. It was almost sad when he stopped laughing, and June wanted nothing but to continue. Then, he announced his punishment, and June was nervous. A kiss on the cheek? Honestly? June had expecting something a lot worse. Jumping into the lake, for example? Without another thought, she leaned forward to peck him on the cheek, but she couldn't reach up to the exact place he pointed to. Closing her eyes just for a second, she didn't notice that Aidan turned his head. June wondered what had happened when her lips hit someting soft and not-so-boney. Quickly, she opened her eyes, and once she saw what she had done, she pushed herself away, getting chocked by the scarf. Her violently red face would have gone even redder, if it hadn't already reached it limit. A swearword escaped from Junes lips as she terrified pretended like nothing had happened. (It was the best reaction she could figure out right now,) Then, she looked to where he was looking, and squeaked out a, "That's Ella Collins," June looked for escape routes, she needed to get away. Fast, "she'll be fine," June did not want to have another witness to her bright red face. Not now. |

Aiden's thoughts about the sad-looking girl were cut off by something nice and warm touching his lips. He looked away from the girl under the tree to pin his eyes on June. Well now, that was unexpected! Their first time out together, and already kissing on the lips. It only took a moment, though, for him to realize what had really happened. As June went even redder (one hundred fifty points, not that he was counting) and told him that this girl, Ella, woukd be fine, he tried to think of something to say. "Oops," was about the only thing that came to mind, though there were some choice words, one of which June had already said. Now, what if June had a boyfriend? He'd be getting in trouble with that guy pretty darn fast, if this ever got out. So, to solve that, it wouldn't get out. They wouldn't go talk to Ella, since that would only make things worse. No, they would walk in the opposite direction around the lake, he decided, pulling June along with him since they were connected by the scarf still. He waited for June to calm down before saying, "Won't tell anyone, I promise." He liked his girls, he really did, but he didn't kiss and tell. Now that was just disrespectful! And if it was one thing he didn't want to do, it was disrespect a girl. |

June stumbled after Aiden, vowing never to use a leash on a animal ever again. With a wince, June took a long step, and tried walking faster so she could keep up with him. The silence ripped at her, and she turned to look at Ella. She should be like that, nervous, worried, but instead she was fooling around with a boy again. Her shoes became suddenly interesting, and June noticed that her feet were moving just like Aidens, a perfect mimic. Yet, the second she thought it, it became uneven again, and she was instead taking shorter, quicker steps. June should be inside the great hall, she should be comforting her friends. She felt like a traitor for being able to have fun whilst... In the middle of everything. Then it hit her, if there was going to be a war, and June had to admit that it probably would be one, then she didn't want to spend it worrying. She knew wars meant death, blood staining the ground, screams filling the air, it might even mean her death. Everyones death. The hufflepuff realised that if there was going to be a war, then it didn't mean that she'd have to give up the good moments. It didn't mean that she had to stop having fun. It just meant she had to be careful, to try protect herself and her friends and family. She felt enlightened, wise. June knew she wasn't a thinker, and wouldn't even try thinking she was a good fighter. All she knew was that she could try make life happier while it was at the worst. She could try give people things to laugh about, keep up the spirit. That was something she could do. "Won't tell anyone, I promise." June looked up, and smiled, "Thanks, you know," Her grin widened, "for being the King of pervertingness, you're actually a nice guy," "But I'm pretty sure you turned your head on purpose," June laughed, poking him. |

A compliment was just what Aiden needed to bounce back to his regular, prideful self. One side of his mouth turned up in a sort of "I'm great, aren't I?" smirk. "You're right, I'm not half bad," he said, whereas most of the guys he knew would have said something more along the lines of, "Oh, no, I'm not as great as you think." Psh, modesty! Who needed it? Surely not he! Getting poked with a comment, he shrugged, saying, "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't..." No, he hadn't turned his head on purpose, but he'd leave it all vague for now. He wasn't going to say he didn't enjoy the kiss, seeing as how he always enjoyed a kiss from a cute girl, but he was still a little worried about one little condition: "You don't have a boyfriend, do you?" he asked. Not to say he wouldn't be able to fight off the guy (he could take 'im! He knew he could!), he just didn't really feel it was the right time with everything that was going on to have a raging mad boyfriend coming after him. But, realizing how his question had soudned, he quickly added, "I just don't want to have to hurt him while while defending myself, you know? That would make you all sad, and that's no good!" |

June giggled at his comment, and took another breath of the cold, fresh air, "You must have known I wouldn't reach up," she lifted some of her hair out from the scarf, June hated when it was stuck. June searched his face when he asked, and grinned, "No, just a Italian best friend," June smiled at the thought of Rodrigo, she loved her best friend. Roddie and June... Chanted her head, and June wondered why she needed so many siblings when her mind was good enough at teasing herself, "Everything else is just rumors," Like the trophy room? -Shut up mind. June shoved away her thoughts, "Hah, my imaginary dream boy will so beat you up," her white rows of uneven teeth popped forward when another smile broke across her face, "Besides, your bikini girl won't like if you turned up with a busted lip, would she?" "What about you? Any Queen pervertingness?" |

Aiden was glad that the awkwardness seemed to just fall away. It was always good when that happened. He never liked dealing with awkward situations. They were mostly just a pain. Hearing about the Itallian best friend, he shrugged, not really knowing who it could be. Wasn't there someone in Hufflepuff with the name Rodrigo? That was pretty darn Itallian. Maybe it was him. He didn't know how right he was. Hearing that June's imaginary boy was apparently stronger than he, he grinned and shook his head. "I can take him, I bet!" he said with a laugh. There was his pride again. If he was any one of the seven sins, it was definitely pride. He was smiling just as wide as June, his own teeth not the straightest in the world. "And then, when I get back with my busted lip, my bikini babe will nurse it back to full health!" Hearing the last question, he pulled at the little blonde strip behind his ear again. "No, actually," he said, almost sounding embarrassed at the fact. Someone that liked girls as much as he did should have had a girlfriend. Yet, there he was, single and living it up. He supposed it could be a good thing, though, since it kept his options open. He glanced over at June, then remembered something he'd heard later on in the feast. Something about, "You'll never guess who I just saw sneak off to the trophy room!" Apparently the boy that had told him such a rumor thought it was absolutely amazing. At the time he'd been told, Aiden hadn't really cared, but now here he was, talking to June, and she was saying she was single. So, slyly, he smiled again and said, as casually as possible, "You sure there's no boyfriend somewhere, and you're not just lyin' to me? I mean, I could have sworn I heard something about Abe Halifax..." |
