Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? "How do you feel, knowing that a Professor is telling you to cheat?" He whispered softly, leaning towards her as he spoke. He ran a hand through his messy hair and smiled crookedly. He heard a small voice next to him, one that he hadn't heard in quite a long time. He jerked his head in the direction of the noise and had to struggle to contain his glee. "Hey!" He said in a hushed, yet noticably excited voice. "How have you been?" Grant pressed, obviously clearing away from the question 'where have you been'. He didn't want to put Dahlia on the spot, or have other people eavesdrop on their conversation. Grant would save the majority of his questions for later, as they all pertained to Dahlia's tartiness. Grant was still smiling at Dahlia when he realized his hand was still wrapped with Emma's. His grin turned sheepish.

"Hey, Dahlia," smiled Em. She hadn't exactly spoken much to her friend, and found herself a bit behind on her life. It was true Dahlia looked paler than usual .. everyone did, though. With sadness, Emma remarked that, lately, the color seemed to be sucked out of everything. Never minding that, Emma leaned in and air-kissed Dahlia on both cheeks. "We'll talk later." Em turned her head slightly. "Bye, best friend," she winked, waving at Grant. And then, in a flash - as always - one blink, and Emma was halfway out the door.
	Love Emma? See; Baby & Tinsley. She said she usually cried at least once each day, not because she was sad, but because the world was so beautiful, and life was so short.

One paragraph! Easy first assignment! she thought giddily. With a quick goodbye to the professor, Avery scooped up her remaining items into her carrying bag. Kidnapped! Posts: 2,756 Group: Ravenclaw Member #114 Joined: Mar 9 2007	Tristan snapped out of his funk and realised everyone was packing up. He couldn't believe he had spaced so badly! He hoped the Professor hadn't noticed his inattentiveness. To make up for it he figured he'd put in extra effort with the homework, particularly if house points were on offer. He shoved his book back into his bag after jotting down the homework on crystal ball gazing and headed to lunch.
