| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. Mitchell heard a sigh from behind him. Here we go again... He moved so he could see Fera, "Is something wrong?" Mitchell asked, a slight hint of sarcasm could be heard in his voice, but it was subtle. Slow. Take things slow. He raised his eyebrows and folded his arms across his chest. Mitchell wondered what this girl could have been thinking about. Probably something stupid... But nevertheless, he still had to check. Or is it that you can't keep your nose out of other peoples business? He curled his lip and laughed silently to himself. |

"Nothing," her tone was acid, and Fera panicked within. Her eyes were unable to settle somewhere, until she forced them to stare down at the slytherins mouth. She looked as they curled into a smirk, feeling hatred build up inside her. "Stop smirking," she hissed, her face turning into a sneer. |

Mitchell held up his hands so they were level with his shoulders. "Ok, ok. Jeez." he said, sounding offended. Truth was, that he didn't care what Fera said or did. None of it mattered to him. Rolling his eyes, Mitchell turned his back on this girl. "Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed today." he muttered. Sure enough, Mitchell was still smirking. You've got to change your attitude, man. Unsure what this girl would do if she knew, it was quickly wiped off his face. Mitchell's eyes lowered and he found himself intensely staring at the table. |

"I'm glad enough for getting out of the bed." said Fera, not lying, not dripped in sarcasme. But, her face soon displayed a arrogant smirk, "Someone seems to have male pms..." said Fera, talking about his moodswings. Fera adjusted her plait, not offering him a glance. |

Mitchell faced Fera. "Excuse me?!" he said, frowning. Who does she think she is? "What is that supposed to mean?" he glared at her, before 'hmphing' again, and gritting his teeth. Why? Did she really have to say that? Still determined not to argue with Fera, Mitchell gripped the edge of the table. His breathing became deep and his jaw clenched. Why bother. A small glance at the professor reminded him. No more trouble. Not today. Not ever. |

Fera laughed at his reaction. She must have hit a nerve. "I'm just pointing it out... Don't shoot the messenger." Leaning backwards, Fera was roaring with laughter within. She brushed a stray lock behind her ear, "Oh well, it's not fun to have your emotions disregarded as hormones, I feel with you..." She smiled a sugar-coated over sweet smile. |

Mitchell eyed Fera cautiously. One second she's all hate, the next the opposite? Something wasn't right. Mitchell wondered what had changed over the past few seconds. Girls. "Oh well, it's not fun to have your emotions disregarded as hormones, I feel with you..." she said. I am nothing like her! Nothing! ... Am I? Mitchell shuddered at the thought of being similar to a Gryffindor. This one in particular. With a quick glance at Fera, Mitchell set it in his mind. "Nope. Nothing." Only a few seconds after saying this had Mitchell realised that he spoken aloud. Whoops. |

This was final proof, he was nothing like her. She'd have been on his throat if he had said it to her. That was a relief, and dissaparated most of her hate. Does that mean I hate myself, because I hate what is alike me? She thought more about it, I might act arrogant, but I'd hate if others got hurt when I can avoid it. But I hurt them all the time. With a strict voice, she cussed at herself, You're weak. Remember the oak, stay stiff, when the straws cannot. Sticks and stones might break their bones, but words will only toughen them. Suddenly, she shot up her hand, "Sister, I don't have my wand hand anymore, how am I supposed to do those spells?" |

Margo strolled into the Charms classroom, not particularly sure what she was doing. Releived to see she wasn't the first to arrive, she started looking for a seat. Sh*t! Lucy AND Fera. Who do I pick....... On one hand, she should sit by Lucy, who she was sure was brimming with news. On the other hand, she already knew Lucy's news (it wasn't a big surprise), AND Lucy was likely to find someone else to sit with, whereas Fera might not be so lucky. In the end, she chose Fera, though vowed to visit Lucy the SECOND class was over. Margo began to walk over to Fera when she asked "Sister, I don't have my wand hand anymore, how am I supposed to do those spells?" Margo thought she'd be playful, so she tossed her own wand at the back of Fera's head and yelled "Here, take mine!". The minute it was out of her hand she regreted it. Fera didn't even know she was there, much less chucking a piece of wood at her head. D*nm! |

Although Fera nolonger had her agility or her depth perception, she still had her reflexes, and she caught Margos wand at once. With wide eye(s), she stared at Margo. "I do have a wand, Margo, it's the arm I'm lacking," she smirked, winking jokingly before she waggled her stump. |

"I will talk to the headmistress about your condition Fera and I will see what I can do. For now you may participate as best as you can. Maybe take notes so you can at least pass your theoretical OWLs. I could try to talk the headmistress into giving you a spare." Sister Evelyn addressed Miss. Collis privately. After a few more minutes of waiting for the tardy students, she shook her head. "Attention please!" She said clearing her throat, displaying an authoritative demeanour. "Now, I know it's Halloween and you are all very excited for the choosing of the champions and the grand feast tonight, but being late for class is unacceptable! I too wish classes didn't start until noon, but unfortunately I don't make the rules. I won't punish you with detentions, but we will have to figure out a way to get you here on time in the mornings…" Sister Evelyn started to think. "Ah-HA!" She said decidedly and waved her arm in front of the board to erase the planned notes for that class. Giggling, she turned to the class, "Alright. I want you to pair up with someone not in your house and someone you don't normally spend time with." Sister Evelyn turned to the board and wrote down various charms in columns while the students re-arranged themselves. "Now," She started a bit louder since students were making noise, "On the board I have columns of various charms. In order to make them work you must combine the words from each column. I want you to try them on each other and record what kind of results you get! The wand movement today is simple, just pointing… if you push your wand forward, in a jab, you will notice stronger effects. Enjoy!" ![]() || for a better viewclick here || || OOC: You are to RP giving your partner a makeover. Have fun! "Well, I would've thrown you my hand, but I thought that would be quite gory for a classroom...... You're pretty good, you should play football. Margo strolled over and took a seat by Fera, dropping her bookbag on the floor and tapping her quill against the table. Then she noticed who was sitting in front of the pair. Turning to Fera, she rolled her eyes and mouthed the word 'REAL fun lesson', then resumed tapping the desk with the vigor of pent up energy. Ok, so she was a little excited for the ball tonight, considering she had more friends then she had ever had in the past. |

Mitchell gulped. Someone not in Slytherin? He glanced around the room. First there was Lucy, well he had gotten off ok with her at the world cup, but it had all gone downhill from there. Next there was Fera, who Mitchell certainly wasn't in the greatest of moods with. I don't feel like being on the end of one of her spells. Especially as she'll be using the wrong wand arm. Finally there was Margo. Well Mitchell hadn't had much interaction with her, aside from the previous evening. Decisions, decisions... Sighing, Mitchell stood up and drew out his wand. But who to go with? He didn't fancy working with any of them. A Slytherin would naturally have been his first choice, but seeing as that was out of the window, it seemed he would have to pick someone else. "Hair girl. Margo, right?" he abruptly said, remembering it as what Fera had said the previous evening. "You and me" Mitchell said, it was more of a statement than a question. |

Perfect! Margo thought happily to herself. She gathered up her stuff and began to move toward Mitchell, but paused to whisper to Fera "I'll mess his face up so much, he looks half as bad as he acts."

Tinsley was heard screaming from the back of the classroom abruptly. "We're trying this on..each other?" she screamed shrilly. "None of you are touching me," hissed Tinsley, her voice a cruel whisper, like a snake. And yet, she knew she needed to pass .. Charms was one of Tinsley's worst subjects, right after History of Magic. She needed to get more than one O.W.L. to get anywhere in life. What could see do with her Outstanding marks in Divination?! Open up a Muggle fortune telling station on a boardwalk where people had funny accents?! Tinsley would rather be partners with Fera Collis for Christ's sake. "Alright, don't all try to be my partner at once," she sighed. |

Mitchell watched as Margo moved toward him. Hurry up! He was keen to get going with the magic. As soon as Margo reached him, Mitchell drew out his wand and pointed it at her. "Ready?" he warned as soon as he felt it was time to begin. So. Think... Well, she likes her hair, and that's what Saeta means... right? This could be fun. Mitchell smirked as an idea crossed his mind. "Saeta tondeo argentum!" he said clearly, jabbing his wand forward as he did so. Mitchell grinned as he watched Margo's hair turn a silvery colour. That's it? He was sure something else was going to happen. Something in the form of hair to no hair? Suddenly, Margo's hair began falling off in clumps. Mitchell fell to the ground in laughter. He clutched his stomach and made a massive effort to stand up. Once he did so, her hair was in a pile on the floor. Trying to calm himself down, Mitchell picked up his quill and a bit of parchment and sketched out a table to record down the results. Fera turned towards Tinsley, pulling her chair around. Standing face to face with Tinsley, Fera smirked, "Shall we work together. I'll be nice, I promise," her eyes glinted mischeviously, but Fera had honestly no idea of making Tinsley look stupid. "I'll be your canvas first, it's not like you can make me worse." She shrugged, she hadn't really bothered about Tinsley before. Tinsley wasn't weak, which made Fera like her, but, Tinsley was fake. To the bone. "I can try translate the words, but my latins not so good anymore," Fera wanted to be good, she couldn't fail all her subjects. Quickly, she noted down the first ones, Dentibus - Teeth Oculus Occulto - hidden eye Labiae - Lips Letifico - ? Saeta - Hair Viseo - Face Finxis - ? Fera passed the note over to Charmichael, wondering how she would react. |

Margo watched helplessly as her hair began to fall out in clumps. At first, she was upset, but then she realized it was mainly from the shock of it, then, not so much. Margo released that Sister would have a counter-curse to all these jinxes, especially so close to the ball so many students cared about. And if she didn't get upset, Mitchell would. Plus, it was pretty darn funny! Soon, Margo was laughing so hard she couldn't cast a spell back, clutching her stomach and feeling her bald head. |

Tinsley shrugged. Secretly, she'd been dying to give Fera Collis a makeover since their first year of classes together, and now the whole missing-arm thing didn't exactly help her case. "I suppose. But, trust me, Collis, if I walk out of this room with Precious pink hair, you'll be out of another limb." Curtly she snatched the notes from Fera's grip and sighed. "Just a warning. I'm dreadful at Charms. Ab - so - lute - ly dreadful." Smirking, Tinsley whipped out her wand and spat, "Vis-eas-eo?" Nothing happened. "See?" sighed Tinsley. |
