| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. Sawyer grimaced, "I'd rather throw them then fail at skipping them if you don't mind,". She noted that his eyes were a strangly dark shade of green, and that her pulse was beating uncharacteristically fast. Unconciously she moved another half inch closer, and stopped herself. Hng, hng...hng. Instinctively Sawyer bit her bottom lip and averted her eyes from his face. "Besides, knowing how to skip stones isn't really going to help me in the future.." She muttered, letting her eyes drift back until they found his; Sawyer arched her left eyebrow. |

Mitchell grinned. "Ok." he murmered. "You achieved quite a distance there anyway" he complimented. You really are changing Mitchell Kalvor. You really are... But for how long? Mitchell took a deep breath, not knowing what else to say. What he could possibly say that would be right at this time. He bit his lip, and smiled gently, his heart beating so fast that he thought it would burst out of his chest. Calm. Down! Mitchell's eyes became lost in Sawyer's. |

Sawyer laughed, "A compliment? Wow," She said jokingly in a nervous voice. She licked her bottom lip as she took another step closer to Mitchell and pressed herself against him, smirking. She felt his heartrate intensify and giggled. Standing on her tippy toes, Sawyer stopped, almost the same height as Mitchell now. What the hell...She thought as she placed her left hand on the base of his neck and her right on his chest. Before placing her lips onto his softly, she winked. Pulling away after only a few seconds Sawyer looked at him critically. "Sorry," She told him, although her tone didn't suggest that she actually meant her apology. |

Mitchell smiled shyly. "No need to apologise" he said, quietly. Although, part of him knew that she didn't really mean it. Mitchell gently pulled Sawyer against him again, his arms enveloping around her. He leaned his head down slightly and kissed her on the lips. Mitchell pulled away rather quicker than he hoped to. He bit his lip, slightly embarrassed. Why? Mitchell lifted his hand, and traced the features on her face, a small dent appearing on his forehead as he concentrated. He grinned, and lowered his hand again. |

Sawyer's eyebrows arched, and her heart rate quickened as Mitchell's hand stroked her face. When it fell, she took a small step back and smiled. "You have really soft lips," She laughed, her eyes sparkling. Slowly she reached up and kissed him again, smirking as she did so. "Who knew such a schmuck could kiss so well," She teased, wagging her eyebrows at him. Sawyer wrapped her arms around her torso, and began biting her lip again. |

Mitchell grinned. "Schmuck indeed!" he laughed. Mitchell tilted his head up to look at the sky. It was a clear blue and the sun was shining. Perfect. His eyes then flitted to the surrounding lake. Perfect. Finally, his eyes rested on Sawyer, and he winked at her. Even more perfect. He gulped, and steadily, his heart rate began to decrease to normal. Wow. Mitchell took a deep breath and went to say something. "..." but nothing seemed right. Mitchell laughed. |

Sawyer joined in laughing with Mitchell, she hardly knew him yet here she was - close enough to hear the steady drumming of his heart. "Did I happen to take your breath away, sorry about that," She told him in a haughty tone, half-grinning at him. Well this year just got a lot more interesting, she thought as she moved away from Mitchell and rested on the boulder she had vacated, sitting indian style, she looked across the grounds, her thoughts chasing each other across her mind - she looked towards the forest, emersed in her own world. |

He winked at Sawyer and leaned against a tree, which was situated just behind him. "Well, you've certainly accomplished something" he finally managed to say. I wish this moment would last forever. Mitchell felt wonderful, away from the harsh realities of life, and other people. He wasn't great in crowded places, and tended to get into arguments a lot quicker in them. Here he felt comfortable. It was just Sawyer and him. |

"HEY!" Sawyer said indignantly - coming out of her stupor, "I can accomplish a lot more than that pal!" She picked up a stone and tossed it at him lightly, it made contact with his thigh. Sawyer stuck her tongue out, she felt like she was seven years old again. Digging through her leather jacket, she withdrew her pack of cigarettes and lit one, slowly inhaling and exhaling - attempting to hide her smile. "What are you thinking about?" Sawyer asked suddenly, gazing at him with intense curiousity. She knew virtually nothing about Mitchell, which tugged at her conscious, she really should be more attentive. |

Mitchell stared at Sawyer in shock. "I didn't mean it like...I..." he bit his lip and rubbed his leg as the stone hit. "Ow" he muttered, not really meaning anything. It always goes wrong somehow doesn't it. Mitchell lost himself in a train of thought, but was quickly snapped out of it when Sawyer spoke again. "What are you thinking about?" "Me?" he asked. Obviously. "Well, right now I'm thinking about how much my leg hurts," he joked, and winked. "Well, I'm, uh, thinking that I like it here. With you. Just the two of us." he smiled. "I don't do crowds. Well. Not very well. You know the whole 'being angry all the time' thing" he smiled as he quoted what Sawyer said earlier. Mitchell shrugged slightly. "You?" he sked, curiously. |

Saywer thought for a minute, her mind was racing too fast and she hadn't had time to collect herself. "I'm thinking what a mess my head is right now, and how this weather is absolutely beautiful," Oh god, stop talking about the weather! She cleared her throat, "And how much I'm enjoying seeing you not angry," Sawyer threw Mitchell a wink, "And how much I really ... missed Hogwarts," She finished, taking another drag of her cigarette. There was something about Mitchell, something Sawyer couldn't place. Being angry at his parents she understood, but taking it out on the rest of the world, now that was Tinsley-ism. Her eyebrows constricted as she looked at Mitchell with a strange look on her face. Anger seemed second nature to him, habitual; almost like blinking or breathing. Anger was all he knew, and Sawyer understood that, but it still gave her the smallest fraction sadness. "Stop being such a baby, that rock barely touched you!" She added as an afterthought, as his previous words echoed in her head. She laughed, Sawyer was the least bit athletic and threw like a girl, which was okay with her...because well, she is a girl. She took another puff of her cancer stick. |

Mitchell winked. "I like not being angry too..." he smiled sadly. I just can't help it. Mitchell sighed. "I missed Hogwarts aswell." this waas merely a statement, he was thinking aloud. Not particularly talking to Sawyer. Mitchell lowered his eyes, and stared at the ground for a brief second, before returning his gaze back to the girl leaning against the rock. "Baby indeed. Have you seen the power you threw those rocks with across the lake. I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of you" he grinned. "And you're right. This weather is absoloutely lovely. It's not that often you get a day as great as this" Well that clearly had two meanings. Mitchell cocked his head to one side slightly, and looked at Sawyer, smiling. "You're beautiful, you know" Whoa. |

"Baby indeed. Have you seen the power you threw those rocks with across the lake. I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of you," Mitchell said, grinning. Sawyer snorted with laughter. "I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of me either," She told him seriously, chucking her cigarette butt to the ground where it burned and finally extinguished itself. She wasn't like Mitchell in the sense that she wore her anger on her sleeve, but she was 99.9% sure that everyone was like a teapot, and needed to vent every now and again. When she finally decides to stop pretending that everything's okay, and does let her rage consume her - well, lets just say it will be bad news bears...and Tinsley. "You're beautiful, you know." Sawyer attempted to hide her smile, taken-aback by Mitchell's comment, but had no luck. "You don't look half bad either," She told him, trying to make it sound offhand. She sighed happily, stretching herself out ontop of the boulder until she was half sitting, half laying ontop of its rough surface. Sawyer barely noticed the jagged pieces of rock piercing her back. |

Jay strolled onto the grounds. He headed toward the lawns and threw his bag down. He wondered where everyone was? summer had not shown up in the great hall and drama was about to go down in there so Jay decided to leave and wait outside for his next class. History of magic, just what he needed. And with the slytherins too. what a day! Leaning back, he looked up to the sky, missing the deep blue sky of home. He wondered what his grandmother was doing and why Chelsea was in such a weird mood? He knew she had skipped last class but Jay was getting a little worried about her. Hogwarts had changed somewhat in the last year and he wondered if things would ever be the same again or was it simply that he was growing up? He lay down, closing his eyes, listening to the outdoor world and wondering. After a few moments, he heard the change of period bell and slowly rose and walked steadily back inside the castle to head for History of magic and a well earned rest he hadn't got during magical theory. "Half bad?" he raised his eyebrows, and smirked. He didn't mean to be arrogant in his comment, but there was a gruffness to his voice, which he really wished wasn't there when he said it. Ah well. Mitchell jumped slightly, as he heard the bell ringing faintly in the distance. Whatever. He personally hated History of Magic, and wasn't good at it either. Even though he wasn't one for ditching, he chose to ignore the bell, and stared out to the lake instead. He would much rather stay out here with Sawyer for the rest of the lesson. "Whoa." Mitchell was hit with a thought. "Don't the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang pupils arrive soon?" he excliamed, looking to Sawyer for a comfirmation of this. Good for some, not so good for others. |

Sawyer winced at the sound of the bell. No force on Earth could convince her to attend History of Magic today. She shrugged at Mitchell's statement, "I guess..." Sawyer informed him uncertainly. She really wasn't paying attention at the welcoming feast, and didn't really care about the Triwizard Tournament. "I'm not really big on tournaments, or any of that." She told him while running a pale, bony hand through her dirty blonde hair. Half smirking, Sawyer cocked an eyebrow. "Why? Can't wait to see all those Beauxbatons girls and their veela-ness?" Her smile grew, "Or wait, don't tell me. Are your actually thinking about trying to be Hogwarts' Champion?" |

Mitchell shrugged. "I might give it a shot." Doubt I'll get picked though. It's worth a try anyway. "And no, I'm just looking forward to seeing my sister again. Actually" he frowned. "And I think it'l be good to get some fresh faces around here. I suppose." Never thought about that before... Mitchell rolled his eyes. "Why, thinking i'd run off with some other girl?" he smiled, trying very hard not to laugh. |

Sawyer threw her head back, "You act like I'd care if you ran off with some trashy girl..." She told him with a tone that suggested she didn't care about anything he did. Actually, when Sawyer thought about it, she would care, more than she'd like to admit and that bothered her for some reason. "Your sister, huh?" She said, tossing the idea of a girl version of Mitchell around in her head. Well, if she had any of the anger he had, Sawyer thought, well then this year was bound to be full of even more drama. Sawyer might as well send an owl home and tell her father she wanted out of this school before shit hit the fan. "What's she like?" Sawyer asked with curiousity, Mitchell seemed like a complicated individual, she wondered what the rest of his family was like. |

Mitchell's eyes darted over Sawyer's face. She wouldn't care? Mitchell gulped, surprised that he felt so hurt. A lot more than he would have thought. "My sister. Well she's..." he racked his brains for a way he could describe her. "The exact opposite of me." he grinned. "No, she's just." he sighed, grinding his teeth. "I don't know. She's so different to me, so much nicer. And care-free you wouldn't believe" MItchell smiled sadly. If only I could be like that. "You wouldn't think we were related if we weren't twins." "You got any siblings? Or is it just you?" he asked. Mitchell remembered the time when he was an only child, before he had even known his siter existed. He hated it, and was so glad when Aphrodite came to live with them. It's so much better now. Mitchell's eyes widened as he heard Professor Aphelion's voice realised. He smiled. They're coming! He was so going to be there when the foreign students arrived. "Coming?" Mitchell asked Sawyer, before darting towards the lawns. Edited by Mitchell Kalvor, May 5 2009, 11:04:43 AM.
