Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Fifth Year Posts: 5 Group: Hufflepuff Member #879 Joined: Apr 16 2009	Alright, this will seem like an odd request but in order to make this character work, he is going to need some pre-established friends. I'd be more comfortable with him having friends from all four houses instead of being one of the "House Only" types even though the Puff friends he has will be closer to him in all actuallity unless he has gone out of his way to be great friends with someone of course. 5th Year -Necromancy: Practice is taken in private as often as he can find to do so. Of course so there is not a huge fuss, he practices on things such as insects and other small bug type creatures. Most of the time he can kill them before they elude him, but it might be interesting if a "Risen" spider were to be running around the school for the majority of the year, not hurting anyone, but just around. Necromancy is viewed as an evil school of magic simply because it involves the Dead and their being brought back, but that doesn't mean William will go that far with it, at least not know. See below for more details. -Fan Following: During the TWT is when the "patriot" will come out in him in the sense that he will be annoyingly pumped about Hogwarts possibly winning the Tourney. To those of you that are going to be in his fan circle, beware of this -Girls: I don't think that William will find a girl that he can steadily date the first time he tries. After all, he is Mr. Shy-guy which is going to put him in a bit of an odd place as far as his romantic life goes and that might be for the best, at least at the start. Still, if any of the ladies on the site are brave enough to give him a shot in the future, let me know so we can discuss that idea some. Factions: Clearly the school has multiple types of people, but when it all comes down to it there seem to be three types. Those on the light side of magic, those with the darker following and those trying to stay the heck out of it all. I think it would be really interesting for him to have friends on both sides that might try to pull him in the various directions, and this in turn will help him to find out a little more about himself than he might if he coasted through will Neutral as his "tag." The Big Picture -Necromancy: When people find out about this, and the right people will at the right time, there are several ways this can go. If it is those that are "good" who discover this talent, then they will most likely advise him to forget it and also sheild him from the "evil" forces that would want to use this power for their means. Of course, the more interesting side comes from the "Evil Forces" finding out that he has abilities tied to Necromancy and use him in order to acheive their end. Two options there, actually turn him to their side or use him and then get rid of him. I am open with this, so those that might have ideas, or if William's dark skill fits in with a plot of yours then throw it out there. I will of course expand on the bigger picture here after I've had some time to get used to the site and everyone on it. It also has to do with the fact that I've a lot of reading to do and really need to figure out the overall plot and where my character can fall into it.

Deleted User	You do realize that, as far as Harry Potter and this RP are concerned, there is no such thing as causing something to "rise from the dead" imprints of their personalities can be fashioned (like the portraits or ghosts themselves) and things like the resurrection stone can create "echoes" of the dead, but the art of raising the dead isn't something that's possible. Will can look into it and try all he wants but as for making something rise from the dead, that's not possible.
