Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Kayden entered the Forest, not even feeling scared or anything, especially knowing that she would be meeting up with her mother. She walked farther and farther and everything seemed dark, with some light from the sky. She pulled out her wand and murmured, "Lumos," and held her wand low, in order for her to see where she was walking. Kayden found a willow tree sitting by itself in a secluded area, and she sat down around it. She put out her wand and placed it inside of her blazer. Resting her head against the bark of the tree, Kayden waited, for her mother to come.

Dark Witch Posts: 58 Group: Knights of Walpurgis Member #630 Joined: Oct 6 2008	Theda entered the Forbidden Forest and walked along fast and vapidly. She didn't need a wand or light, she knew where she was going and what needed to be done. Tears were falling down her elegant face and animals scurried away as she walked past each of them. Theda stopped dead in her tracks when she heard a young girl humming, the young girl, is her daughter. Theda put a hand over her mouth and began to cry more then she ever could've said she has. She's so beautiful, Theda thought to herself. The air was crisp but still warm to an extent and the sky was becoming darker and darker, especially deep in the forest. Looking across at Kayden sitting under the tree, she couldn't even see much because of the dark surrounding them. Clinging on to a tree, Theda climbed up one up high where she let her feet dangle, and sat upon a branch, being able to look down at Kayden, but Kayden not being able to look up at her. "My daughter," she said in her snicker of a voice.

The voice of Kit was a soft, squeaky little thing that Kayden didn't take after, no one did in the family. Kayden's voice was lower, and much more sarcastic then of enthusiastic. Kayden sprung up from the Ground and whipped her jet-black hair over her shoulders. She instantly drew her wand out, for Kayden thought it was going to be a dark witch coming and attacking her. "Who are you, and what do you want?" She asked in a tone that anyone could sense confusion and anger from.

Theda knew that Kayden sensed something was going to either attack her, or frighten her to the fullest. Theda took a couple steps forward and made leaves crack beneath her feet. It was silent except for the sound of Theda moving across the forest towards where Kayden was standing. The sky was completely black, except for a hint from the moonlight. Theda was shaking, for she wasn't even scared. "Kayden, you are such a strong, brave, and beautiful girl to come out here in the night, when I could very well be an imposter," she spoke in her arrogant, but humble voice to Kayden. She would think it would soothe anyone with her sense of arrogant mind. Slowly, Theda took the mask off her face and placed it in the inside pocket of her floor-length black, trenchcoat.

It was so black, Kayden couldn't see anything, or whatever it was coming towards her. She simply took a step back and mounded herself against the tree. Her lip trembled and she wasn't sure what this vindictive plan was, but she was sure it was something that wasn't going to end up in her favor. "B, but, my mother's owl came, what would I have to be fearful of? No one can send me a letter except.. m,m, my, mother," Kayden said very shakily. Nothing was making sense to her. That owl, only could be used by her mother and she knew that for sure, because even someone in the same family couldn't get that owl to send a letter. Kayden never actually saw Kit send the letter, but she always received it from her. Kayden waited for a response from the dark.

Only half of her face, if even parts, shone and Kayden could now see that a person was there. A beautiful woman was standing in front of her. Theda's cheekbons and jet-black hair were now in the light and she wanted Kayden to see, to actually see who she took after. Not Dragomir Slayer, and certainly not Kit Garsnickle. Theda, Kayden's mother, had the same resemblance that her daughter had. "Kayden," she said stepping out of the moonlight, but to allow herself to be right in front of Kayden, she took a piece of Kayden's hair, the same color as her own, and said, "It's me, I'm your real mother."

The woman took a piece of her hair and played with if softly, allowing a warm and welcoming smile to spread across her face. The woman was beautiful and Kayden saw that, she also saw that the woman did in fact, look like Kayden Kayden smacked the hand away from her head and said, "You're not my f*cking mother, and I don't know why you're pretending to be." She pulled out her wand again. ______________________________________________________________ Theda rolled her eyes. Of course, she thought to herself, how could I ever think she would just go with the flow and pretend I'm her mother? She pulled out her wand and yelled, "Petrificus Totalus," and Kayden's body was instantly seized. Before Kayden could actually fall to the Ground, Theda caught her and left the Forbidden Forest, along with Hogwarts.
