| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. After a while of watching the animals with Banni and the other students, Addie began making her way back. It was the end of term feast after all, there was no way she was missing it. The girl gazed around, taking in the sight of the grounds, peaceful, as they should be. Addie smiled, entering the school. |

Jayceon breathed in the wonderful air of the outdoors one last time before retreating back inside the castle. The great feast was awaiting and food was one of his favourite things. |

Lucy sighed. The hippogriffs had kept her attention for a short while, but now she was bored. She realised the feast was still on, and being out here meant she was missing it, and there was no way she wanted to miss Gryffindor's win. She turned, and trasped back into the Great Hall. |

Ella turned away from the hippogryffs just in time to see a Gryffindor girl give her a funny look before turning to leave for the castle. She raised an eyebrow at the girl's retreating back, but then noticed that most everyone was leaving. Glancing around once more, the Slytherin girl joined the throng of students walking up to the castle. |

Before she knew it, each person had disappeared from the group surrounding the new born creatures. She looked around and followed the path that led down to the lake. Looking into the lake she mad sure to place her weight in the right spot so she wouldn't fall in. A breath of fresh air filled Iris's lungs, brushing her auburn strands of hair out of her face. The grounds were burnt and terrorized, the grass burnt, and barley any tress left. How could any one do something so terrible? She thought to her self. She couldn't wait to get home. The scent of the salty sea air filled Iris's nostrils, she imagined the dark forest surrounding, the scattered orange trees, and most of all, her loving parents. The thought made her excited, but somewhere, inside her abysmal mind there lay a reliance thought. Her parents were changing, and so was she. Her heart throbbed as she thought of her grandma, it'd been so long since she had seen here, her parents had torn her away from here after she had learned about Iris's magical abilities. Only did the two write. Something was going on over at Adeanna's home, Iris knew it. Even during winter break, Adeanna wasn't available, unless her parents were lying to her...... Never, her confiding trust in her parents shined through her doubts. They'd never do such a thing. Her eyes searched the lake, looking for answers. Everyone was in the great hall for the end of term feast. Why aren't I there? The new born hypogriffs had resembled something to Iris, it resembled new life and innocence. It made her wonder, where had life taken her? Her sense of wonderment always pushed her forward. Curiosity filled her mind as she wondered about elements beyond her control. Even though there was nothing she could do, Iris still felt guilty for death. She felt guilty for all the others in danger, and for everything that had happened last night. Spontaneously Iris burst into laughter. Her thoughts and guilt were nothing. She let go of the blame and released it into the air. Iris knew that if some one were to enter the grounds she'd look like an idiot, but it didn't matter to her. Life is good, she thought, everything is great. She thrust her arms in the air and laid down on her back. Her laughing ceased to a mere giggle. Iris stood up and looked from the castle to the burnt grounds. "I hope everything grows back..." she murmured aloud to her self, then made her way to the castle. |

Banni watched on as, one by one, the students all got a look at the miracle he'd wanted to show them. Hipporgryff births were rare, and even rarer was multiple births by one Hipporgryff. Nightwing the hippogryff rested now, quietly, with her young. Not far from here, Banni knew, Longbeak was watching over them. The father of the hippogryff young did not attack, of course, because he trusted Banni, and knew that he would not bring anyone who would mean them any harm anywhere near them. As the students gradually got their fill of the sight, and began returning to the castle, Banni looked over the state of the grounds and sighed. He and Peckle had just spent all last summer fixing it up after the fiendfyre had scorched the place. Now it looked almost as bad as it had this time last year. He would have a lot of work ahead of him. "Bannishtar!" someone called, loudly, from withing the forest. Banni and Orius both started, then turned to see Bane, Firenze, and a great number of other centaurs appearing out of the darkness of the forest. The were armed, as usual. "Bane? Firenze?" Banni said. "We've reached a compromise," said Firenze, "we thought you'd like to know." Bane snorted. "Compromise, my hoof!" the bearded centaur said, "I'm just well aware we've got more important things to do than fight each other. Those vile imps are still crawling around the forest..." "You haven't yet gotten rid of them?" Banni asked. "Every time we purge an area of their nests," said Firenze, "they return full force only weeks later. They breed quickly, as I've told you before, and enough of them always seem to survive our purge to start breeding again. We can't kill them fast enough." "But we're sure as hell going to try!" Bane said, smirking. The herd behind him answered with a battle cry, many of them brandishing their bows. "We could use your help," offered Firenze. Banni smiled and looked down at the young centaur by his side. "Well, Orius? I said I'd teach you to hunt..." Orius smirked. "Let's go hunt some imp!" said Banni, and at Bane's command the entire heard sped back into the forest, Banni and Orius included. ((OOC: Cue Lord of the Rings music! Lol.)) |
