| Read Today's Daily Prophet: Knights of Walpurgis attack Hogwarts; Belleford steps down as Hogwarts closes until further notice |
| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. ''Yeah, hop on I guess.'' Morgan smiled, patting the end of the broom enthusiastically. ''Just, watch you don't slip off?'' Morgan added as the broom rose up into the air gently, taking height as his fingers clutched around the front of the broom. When he reached a decent height, Morgan leant forward on the broom as sent it flying above the surface of the blue lake. It picked up speed, gradually approaching just over fifty miles per hour. He didn't push for sixty. From being so close to the waters surface, the air whirring around the broom made the water of the lake below them streak backwards as if an invisible boat was riding across the lake. Morgan drew the broom slower, curving it downwards to the right. They had stopped by the middle tower on the bottom platform. Morgan edged the broom to the left, so the platform was below their feet only by centimetres. ''Huh. Wasn't too bad, was it?'' Morgan asked as he slid off the broom carefully and caught it in his hand after Tabbitha had stepped off onto the platform. |

Tabbitha hopped from the broom and smiled, looking up at Morgan, but keeping quiet. She smoothed her hair down and winked softly at him. She took in a long breath and let it out slowly sighing, taking a seat on the edge of the platform. She shook her head in answer to his question, keeping her head down, gazing at the water below. |

Morgan moved to the edge of the tower and hopped up onto one of the wooden safety barricades. ''So, you're from Durmstrang?'' Morgan asked, assuming as such from her fresh Bulgarian accent. ''I hear they've got quite the Defense Against The Dark Arts classes. Not as many safety rules there as we have in Hogwarts?'' Morgan added, trying to make some conversation. |

Tabbitha nodded, the wind blowing harder onto her face. She turned swiftly around, now facing him and nodded once more. "Yes." she accented. "We do. We had quite the professor for that. Never seen such an old witch come at a dementor with that much force." She smirked, remembering then time Azkaban had raided the grounds of Durmstrang. "She was nothing like what you'll find here." Tabbitha completed, rolling her eyes at the thought of the only few professors she'd run into on her first day back at school. |

''Wow. I'd love to see you in Defense Against the Dark Arts class here. You might be more advanced than the rest of us. Possibly even show the Slythie bitches what's what?'' Morgan smirked, looking down to the lake behind him. ''I'd hate to go down there. Morgan murmered, lingering in thought. ''You know, there's a colony of merpeople at the bottom of the lake? I hear their quite aggressive creatures. Although, as long as you have your wand I suppose you of all people would be alright, with your amazing curses and defensive spells.'' Morgan smirked, turning his gaze back to her. |

Tabbitha nodded, lifting her head, and smirking back at him. "My father read into the history before I came to Hogwarts...before we moved. I could tell you the past of every inch of this ground..." she said, mysteriously while picking at a loose piece of wood on the platform. "And he could speak Mermish. Dunno if he still can though. I do suppose it's been awhile." Tabbitha's bright green eyes scanned the lake as she turned and threw her feet over the edge. She looked up and tilted her head back as far as possible to let them meet with Morgan's once more. "Come here often?" she asked, smiling. |

''No, actually. Not over on the towers.'' Morgan murmered, sitting down by Tabbitha on the edge of the platform. Pulling off his shoes and socks, he placed them by his side and dipped his feet into the freezing cold water. Morgan shivered and noticed Tabbitha didn't seem to notice it--probably since she was from Bulgaria and was used to the low temperatures--so he didn't say much of it. ''Made any new friends at the Slythie table at lunch today, then?'' Morgan asked, wondering how her social status would develop with the pure blooded bitches of the Slytherin house. He couldn't imagine very well, though. |

Tabbitha smirked at his question. She took a breath in and let it out quickly, snickering. "Are you kidding?" she asked they boy, rhetorically. "My first day and that Jocelyn girl's already at the top of my list..."She took a breath, slowing down, and tilting her head to look into the glistening water below them. "I suppose it's my bloodline. Traitor, they call me." |

''Yeah, apparently I'm one too. When I met Jocelyn I engorgio'd her chair in the middle of Herbology. Her theighs only hit beneath her desk and she only fell on the floor-- although she was pretty embaressed to have a 'mudblood' show her up like that.'' ''Later I struck a duel with some other Slytherin girl. Beatrix, I think her name was. Some kind of goth girl. I'd imagine she has it in for me now. Can you believe the bitch actually casted black magic at me? I wouldn't be surprised, her whole family are probably Dark Wizards or something. Anyway, she got thirty-five points taken off her house for it.'' Morgan smirked as he remembered the girl's face as she almost shook with anger. Morgan paused, considering the fact that they both disliked Jocelyn and her annoying attitude but he also disliked Catalina possibly more for the act she put on at first Period Transfiguration that morning. ''We could get Jocelyn back? I'm the commentator for the Ravenclaw Quiddich game. That might work to our advantage somehow? If we do, you could help me get back at a girl called Catalina?'' Morgan couldn't help but smile at the idea of revenge. It made him tingle inside. |

Tabbitha smirked as the wind blew harder against her face, throwing her hair to her back. "Oh sweet revenge." she murmured at the boy's idea. "Good idea...except the tiny issue is, if you're commentating, then how are you supposed to get her ba--. Oh." she corrected herself, smiling and winking. "I think to much like a muggle sometimes." was the sentence the used before smacking the palm of her hand to her own head. Morgan. She was gonna like this kid. |

''Yeah, and I'm only commentating for one game. We should get revenge at both of them at once, y'know? Set them up real good. You could..'' Morgan paused, brainstorming as he looked down at the rippling waters of the lake. ''You.. you could lock Jocelyn in the broom cupboard before the game. Bind her to make absoloutely sure nobody can detect her, and take her wand. Take a hair from her for a polyjuice potion to assume her form before the game starts. Whilst I'm commentating, you could attack Catalina and flipendo her onto the quiddich field in the patch of another player or bludger. I'd announce what happened and embaress her in front of everyone whilst she's on the field. You'd have to run back to the broom closet and let out Jocelyn before you turn back into yourself? Maybe obliviate her, if possible? Oh-- and Catalina would have to be at the game. I'll make sure that she will be there myself, and ensure the staff that you were elsewhere during the quiddich match.'' Morgan was pleased at himself-- he was fairly good at setting others up and the plan seemed almost flawless. Sometimes he wondered if the sorting hat was right in putting him in Ravenclaw. He may not be book smart, but he was good at plenty of other things. ''Have you got anything to add to that?'' Morgan asked, turning to Tabbitha once again with a grin planted on his face. |

Tabbitha nodded, but then shook her head. "I think it's perfect, but doesn't the Polyjuice Potion take months to brew? Unless someone already has some around here?" she said, eying the shore of the lake, making sure no one else noticed that they were there. |

Summer smiled back at Jayceon and her smile turned into a sly grin when he asked her to race him. "Sure, I'm up for that," she agreed, nodding. "But, I have to warn you. I'm pretty fast." Summer smirked and stopped her broom in midair as well, turning to her side to face Jayceon. "You ready?" Sum asked one more time, turning in midair again so that she was facing the endless sky. |

"I was born ready, Miss Gryff!" He laughed and steadied his broom. He knew how fast he was. He'd been captain the previous ear in Kenya. Now he hoped he could push his skills beyond hers. "Ready, steady, go!" He shot off from where he'd been waiting. the air rushed through his hair and made his robes billow incredibly. He turned to look where summer was. |

''We could check in the store room and the Potions class store closet. If we can't find any, we can't really frame Jocelyn.'' Morgan turned and looked at Tabbitha, a smile etching onto his lips. ''We should find a polyjuice potion now, then. The matches are both tonight. We have a few hours until tonight.'' Morgan said, raising his wet feet from the cold lake water and slipping on his socks and shoes. Standing up, he held his hand over his broom. ''Up.'' Morgan commanded, causing the broom to leap up into his open palm obidiently. Morgan stepped onto the front of the broom and cocked his head back to face Tabbitha. ''It'd be so much more easier to do all this with an invisibilty cloak. You wouldn't happen to have one, would you?'' Morgan asked as the broom rose into the air gently and hovered foward, rippling the water. Morgan pointed the broom upwards and sent it dashing forward towards the sky. He never pushed up to the sixty limit, or too high. He had yet to conquer his fear of heights. Soon, the broom dashed dangerously low to the ground as they reached land, and rose as it neared a thick oak there planted at the bottom of a hill. Morgan lowered the broom down to the ground neatly. Morgan's feet planted onto the grass behind the large oak tree, and he slid of the side of the broom energetically. ''I'll go to the Potions classroom if it's empty, and you can take the storeroom cupboard. Be sure to lock the room once your in, and cast silencio if you think you might be making much noise. We could meet back at this spot when we're done?'' Morgan couldn't help but smile gleefully as he nodded to Tabbitha. He could see he would end up being very good friends with this Slythie. |

Summer rolled her eyes, but before she could say anything else, Jayceon had zoomed right by her. Summer blinked, the air from the speed of his broom adding the the wind blowing her hair astray. She had to admit, he was incredibly fast. But that didn't mean she wasn't faster. Summer scowled at his head start before leaning into her own broomstick and quickly increasing her speed. In no time, she was flying alongside Jayceon. "You can't beat me, Jay. Flying is second nature for me," Summer declared, her voice playful and even calm, as if to show Jayceon how easy this was to her. She leaned forward once again and passed Jayceon, waving behind at him and laughing as she did so. |

Jocelyn strolled out onto the grounds, killing time before dinner. She stretched her arms out in front of her and yawned deeply as she continued to walk on the water's edge, staring out into the horizon in front of her. She abruptly turned her back on the setting sun. Her icy blue eyes peered over her surroundings and finally landed on a Ravenclaw standing behind a large oak tree. Jocelyn's eyes narrowed; she knew the boy. "Mudblood," Joss muttered under her breath as she slowly approached the boy. She was quickly reminded of their brief meeting in class a while ago. Jocelyn's irritated expression immediately turned into a smirk, however, when she reached the oak tree and firmly placed one hand on the bark. "Hm. What do we have here?" Jocelyn called out, a feet away from where Morgan stood. Despite the confident expression planted on her face, she still didn't want to take any risks. "A mudblood, a Ravenclaw, and a trouble-maker; all combined in one." Jocelyn's smirk grew wider as she stared the boy down. "Perfect." Her voice was now low and harsh, almost inaudible. "I seem to know your little Slytherin, blood-traitor girlfriend you were talking to earlier. Tabbitha? Yeah, we're really good friends, you see. And she's also very gullible. She's the type that's really easy to deceive." Jocelyn licked her lips eagerly. "Kind of like you, believe it or not." The smirk on her lips faded and she puckered her eyebrows. Her other hand - the one that wasn't touching the bark of the oak tree - was stuck deep into her pocket, firmly gripping her wand. |

Jayceon saw her zoom by him and cockily wave behind her. O so she thinks she can beat me, does she? Jay's competative nature took over now and he flattened himself against his broom handle and urged his broom onward. He was catching her and as he pulled level he grinned. "Did I mention I was captain of my school's team? Fastest chaser in Kenya's history?" He smirked as his broom handle just inched ahead of hers. She was fast, that he didn't or couldn't deny. He admired her ability and loved her competativeness. |

Summer managed to easily fly besides Jayceon, this time not bothering to fly past him. She wanted to keep the conversation going and was highly impressed by his skills. "Oh, really? Wow. I don't think I can beat that reputation," Summer admitted, the content grin on her lips growing wider. She urged her broom to go a bit faster, but not much. "I would tell you to join the school team," Sum continued, keeping her eyes on where she was going, but still glancing at Jay out of the corner of her eye. "But I don't want Ravenclaw to be any better than they already are." She chuckled, and the cheerful sound lifted her spirits. Something about Jay's presence always made her that much more happier. Summer didn't know why she was admitting how good he really was. Perhaps she just wanted him to know how amazing she really thought he was, or maybe it was just because she wanted to tell the truth. |
