| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? So I just had this brain blast a few minutes ago. HI should have something like a character diary forum where each character can bring out their journals and write whatever they feel they must, to get their feelings out or to get their thoughts together. Maybe even write down their homework assignments. Just an idea, but i think it'd be pretty darn awesome. -Tabbs. |

If we see a man glorifying his race, gender, or creed, we can understand there is nothing about himself that deserves glorification.

I don't see why not, but this can also be used in your completed character application. Seems easier to categorize that way as it will already be in the location that includes everything about your character. |

Meh...I've seen it done on another site, and it was terribly underused. I know that Savannah Edkins in particular kept a diary in her character bio. If you want to have a character diary, then no one is stopping you, but it just doesn't seem necessary to allocate a whole section to something I'm sure not a whole lot of people will use. Besides, I know a lot of characters who would not keep a diary if they were threatened to at wand-point. Ian, in particular. If your character would keep a diary, then write one and stick it somewhere, but I just think that this wouldn't get used much for a number of reasons. |

"Dear Diary Mood: Apathetic My life is spiraling downward I couldn't get enough money to go to the Blood Red Romance and Suffocate Me Dry concert It sucks cause they play some of my favorite songs like "Stab My Heart Because I Love You" and "Rip Apart My Soul" and of course "Stabby Rip Stab Stab" And It doesn't help that I couldn't get my hair to do that flippy thing either…Like that guy from that band can do...Some days, ya know... I'm an emo kid, non-conforming as can be.
