Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

The Grounds; Day 3, during the Halloween Party

Dahlia walked out onto the grounds, sighing as she got outside. She stopped in her tracks and looked behind her, no one came after her. That's all she wanted to see and feel, someone actually coming for her, but no, not even Morgan. After this night they've spent so far, Dahlia came to the conclusion, another player.

Taking a deep breath of the chilly air, Dahlia began to walk forwards slowly, seeing as she would be by herself. She walked on the path farther and father into the Grounds and continued to take steps, pacing slowly.

Morgan jogged down the steps from the Grand Hall onto the grounds, then broke into a sprint across the pathway through the Grounds after Dahlia.

Catching up with her walking pace easily, he stopped close to her right.
''What's wrong?'' Morgan frowned, feeling hurt that she would have of left him without a second thought for helping such a confused, dazed Gryffindor girl for only a couple of minutes.
He was going to make it up to her by going to the Astronomy tower with her for the rest of the night.

Dahlia heard footsteps behind her, so she sped up a bit. Then slowed down as she heard:

"What's wrong?

Dahlia turned around slowly.. to see Morgan. "Morgan, I'm fine
," she said putting her head down,"I just didn't feel like sitting by myself, that's all." It was true, Dahlia felt completely deserted sitting at the table alone, a fool she looked like. "Really, I'm just going to stay out here," she looked around,"I like the chill."

Morgan frowned and laughed slightly.
''I didn't do anything wrong, I only left you for five minutes to help some mentally distorted girl with missing limbs, who seemed to be very confused. There's no reason to leave me in the Hall without a date like that. If you really wanted to go and 'enjoy the chill' you would have of said so.'' Morgan didn't raise his voice, but couldn't help sounding angry.

''Nevermind anyway. It's my fault for not ignoring that girl when she practically collapsed in the Grand Hall when I was watching the doors. I should have of just ignored her for you.'' Morgan finished off, breaking eye contact with Dahlia and walking quickly across the rest of the path on his own into the Ravenclaw tower.

Dahlia watched as Morgan walked away, she sighed and called after him,"Morgan, please come back here." Dahlia didn't know that girl "needed help" and it didn't even bother her, she truly didn't want to sit alone. If Morgan came back and gave her an actual chance to explain, then he would see he wasn't the victim in this situation.

Kane, after leaving the loud and crowded party, emerged onto the Grounds. He searched the Grounds for anyone he might know. He finally spotted Dahlia Walker, the girl he'd met earlier that day. Surely he wouldn't remember her, right? You guessed it.

Kane walked up to Dahlia, like he'd never seen her before. "Why, good evening, Miss. Why, may I ask, are you not attending the festivities that are happening inside?" he asked her. He looked at the many trees around them, then stared at the Black Lake. "I don't believe we've met before, have we?" he said quietly, "My name is Kane. Kane Resultran. You are?"

Dahlia's focus turned to another guy, not what I need right now, she thought. She did want Morgan to come back, the Astronomy Tower could be looking so beautiful up so high, especially with someone she enjoyed being with, except for the fact that Morgan had completely left her, outside, all alone, at night.

Dahlia couldn't help but smile though, this guy was kind of cute, kind of nerdy looking. "Hello
," she said holding out her hand,"I'm Dahlia Walker, and if you want to know why I'm not enjoying myself, it's because I was left out here alone." She said with a big smile, being sarcastic of course.

Kane smiled weakly and took her hand. He frowned slightly though as she mentioned that she was left alone. "What happened?" he asked, concerned.

Dahlia felt Kane take her hand and she shivered a little, not expecting that. "Sorry." she said, attempting to give him a good cover by a weak smile. "Well," she began to say,"I went to the dance with this guy, and everything was great, I actually was having fun, and dancing," she began to giggle and looked down at where their hands intertwined. She said,"I came out for fresh air, and he freaked out on me, but he was with another girl anyway, not my problem, man." She raised an eyebrow as she looked where he walked away.

Constanta sprinted through the lawns at full speed, not caring who saw her, just that she made it somewhere safe, somewhere where no one could be hurt.

No one but her. She was the only one allowed to hurt.

Her vision was warping the world around her, and she slowed to a stop near what she was able to discern as the Whomping Willow. Splitting pain was the only thing she cared about at that moment, the pain that she just wanted to stop, the pain that was spreading through her limbs and torso until it was consuming her. Her body was being ripped apart at the seams and she couldn't bear it any longer. She threw back her head as she felt her knees buckle and screamed, a shrill sound that merged into a long, low howl.

No thought was spared for her beautiful costume as thick, coarse fur grew all over her body. Her nails lengthened and sharpened, becoming fiercely sharp claws. Her nose grew longer and shaped itself into a snout, her teeth morphing into deadly fangs. Taller she grew, and finally she stood up on her back paws.

The pain was gone now. Her instincts took over, and she prowled around the grounds.

The wolf was hungry.

Kane looked at her with a sensitive look. "Some people are such idiots," he began. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I've had my share of stupid moments, too, but... I'd never leave such a pretty lady out here in the cold all alone." He looked at Dahlia as she shivered and took off his jacket. "D'you need this?" he asked her.

Dahlia nodded as Kane was talking. Hm, so this guy is pretty darn chill. She smiled at the words "pretty lady" and said,"Thank you," when he offered her his jacket. She took his jacket and put it around her shoulders.

"Would you like to sit or something?" Dahlia didn't necessarily feel like going back to the party, or even inside, the chill made her feel alive and she also liked having the company of someone other then herself.

Dahlia saw a pretty looking willow tree and she turned to look at it, then turned to smile at Kane. She squeezed his hand then let go and walked over to the tree, expecting him to follow. Kane's jacket was long on her, almost down to where her knees were.

Kayden sat down by under the tree and heard a ripping sound. Her eyes widened and she looked down to see she was caught on a root coming out of the earth. It was stuck into her tu-tu. "Argg.
" She made a sound trying to tug it off, it clearly wasn't working.

Kane walked over to where Dahlia was and looked as she struggled to break free from a root. "You need some help with that?" he asked solemnly.

Summer rushed onto the grounds, having followed Constanta out of the Great Hall and trying to keep up as the girl's steps got larger and larger. Summer finally reached the edge of the lawns and stopped abruptly, placing her hands on her knees and panting heavily. She shivered as the cold wind slapped her and wrapped her velvet veil around her so that it covered her arms. Summer glanced up into the endless darkness, her eyes searching for a movement, a shadow -- anything. A thousand questions flowed into her mind, among them the one asking where Constanta was and, more importantly, why she had so suddenly ran out onto the grounds.

Just then, Summer heard it. The high-pitched, sharp scream that gradually, but clearly, turned into a low, long howl. Summer's breath became shorter in fear as she hesitantly walked further into the grounds, heading towards the Whomping Willow. As she swallowed nervously, she could see her breath in the air, sparkling white against the pitch-black darkness of the night. Summer couldn't see anything, but she could hear the footsteps, growing heavier and heavier as they came closer to her.

Summer ignored the voice inside her head that was telling her to go back into the castle immediately and forget this had ever happened. She felt like she was in a horror movie and that this was the part when the girl opens the door or goes into the strange house, even though the whole audience is screaming for her not to. She didn't know what made her keep going, but she did. And finally, after what seemed like hours when it was only a few minutes, Summer caught the first glimpse of it.

The wolf.

Summer screamed and screamed and screamed, but nobody heard her. The wolf was prowling the grounds and it's fiercely sharp claws and teeth were the only thing Summer saw. But Summer knew that this wasn't just any old wolf. It was a werewolf. And it was also a girl by the name of Constanta Lupei.
Like a bird with broken wings, it's not how high he flies but the song he sings.

She was stuck, and she felt that if she had help, her costume would rip entirely and all her hard work wouldn't have paid off. Strugging, and tuggling on her tu-tu, Dahlia attempted to say,"Er, uh, .. No I think I, argh!" She continued to tug and she took a deep breath and pulled as tightly as she could. She gasped and looked down at her bare thighs, trying to cover them with his jacket. Her tu-tu was stuck on the root, and off of her body.

She blushed and looked at Kane, hoping he wouldn't see her face in the moonlight. "Oh dear," she said looking down,"I'm sorry about this." Dahlia did have great legs and a body as well, but what would this guy think, she was trying to sell herself or something? Panicking, Dahlia kept thinking of suggestions before he could respond.

If we see a man glorifying his race, gender, or creed, we can understand there is nothing about himself that deserves glorification.

Hellius carried Emma on his back out onto the Grounds without much effort. The girl was quite light and with his Quidditch influenced muscle structure, it was like a field day for his regimen. Yawning absently with the bright, white moon shining above, he slowly shifted his gaze to look up at the dangling object which seemed to be growing closer to crash into the surface of the planet. The moon was gazing and magnificent, almost taking up the entirety of the sky.

Taking a deep breath, he separated his stare and glanced back at Emma.

"I think you're gonna like this spot," he broke the silence. "I spent a lot of nights over here; the view is... breathtaking."

be fearless; // EM: THE .GIF QUEEN!

The events of the evening seemed to flash by in a blur, with Em blissfully unaware of anything going on. The moonlight streaming down on them, showering them with ghastly light, Em's hair sparkled as her arms were wrapped around Hellius, quietly smiling as they walked in silence. Emma's chin rested on his shoulder, Emma occasionally sighing and giggling. She felt calm, and at peace, like nothing could faze her - the memories of her mother, of Fera, of everything melted away in the moonlight as Hellius walked, the silence not an awkward one, but a comforting one.

"I think you're gonna like this spot," he broke the silence. "I spent a lot of nights over here; the view is... breathtaking."

Emma smiled softly. "Ooh, my." She sighed and kissed the back of Hellius' neck as he walked.

Nephra stepped out into the grounds, feeling the cold breeze brush at her face and through her hair. Her feet walked forward, her body being dragged along. Nephra looked up at the sky, looking at all the beautiful stars, "I wonder what stars really are, and how the got up into the sky, and how do they stay up? she said looking puzzled and amazed by the stars.
