Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Sixth Year Posts: 227 Group: Slytherin Member #24 Joined: Jan 5 2007 Character Age 16 RP Relationship Status In a relationship with the darkness RP Location The Great Hall	Jordanna walked into the emptying classroom, shoving a younger boy into the doorframe as she entered and he didn't give her way. She held her chin high, as was usual for her, giving off the usual feeling of total arrogance. She was somewhat distressed, but no one else knew that, and she didn't intend on letting anyone know. Besides, her moodyness was almost constant anyway. Taking a seat, Jordanna paid no attention to the fact that the professor had not yet entered the classroom, and she sat, alone. She removed from her purse a makeup kit, but instead of touching up, she simply stared into her own green eyes, as if staring into herself, trying to find the meaning of it all. She sighed audibly.
	Be my future here! Jordanna needs some friends.

Seventh Year. Lori rocks! But srsly, Morgan is the best! I love Malynne! But not as much as I LOVE ANNA AND LORI. BUT MORGAN STILL PWNS THEM ALL, THE END. I love Meg she is so awesome and epic. He shrugged to himself though, knowing that he'd see her next period for lunch, and then... The dance! I totally forgot about it. I wonder what I should dress up as? I hate dressing up... pretty lame, really, but I guess I'll look pretty weird if I don't and everyone else does. Thinking to himself, Dave remembered that this class was with Gryffindor, so he sat in a row of three, leaving the two seats next to him available for Addie or whoever else would come. He actively avoided Jordanna, knowing that she was one of Julian's crowd, and probably no better than him, though he made sure to totally avoid her, not only because of her affiliation, but because she was totally out of his league, and a complete snob to his standards. But again, quite the looker. Dave dared to shoot her a look, sighing slightly when he noticed her eyes focused on her handheld mirror, which was her usual stature, but this time she seemed to be deep in thought. I had no idea she even had a brain to think with, really. He snickered to himself and looked away.

Deleted User	Ray entered the class room and took no notice of the two slytherins already seated. Ray took a spot mid way down an isle and pulled out a quill and parchment. Fixing her hallowe'en costume, she settled in for class.

She saw two other Slytherins; one boy sitting relatively alone and a girl applying her makeup. She hadn't seen either of them before and wondered if they moved within the inner circle that included Tinsley and Julian. Those two were like the respective Queen and King of their house, each demanding attention and respect. Constanta sighed and wished there were less politics to do with her house. The professor had not arrived yet, so she leaned back and stared at the ceiling, not paying much attention to the rest of the room.

With that, she sat down, eye wide. It was a simple room, but Fera felt that it was filled with magic, pricking her skin. Fera dragged on her robe, feeling abit cold. It wasn't easy with one hand. Damn you, John. Damn you, red caps. She looked around, noticing a slytherin girl busy with her mirror, and a slytherin boy snickering to himself. Then there was Ray, a girl Fera honestly didn't care anything about. Why did she go to class this time?

Right, this class was with Slytherins... Which, of course, was good and bad, mainly bad unfortunately. On the positive side, she had a chance to catch up with Dave, her first friend at Hogwarts, whom she hadn't seen for some time. On the oh-so bad side. There was Julian, if he decided to show up for class, and of course, the rest of his little followers. Who'll no doubt make my life a living Hell this year, I don't particularly expect him to forget... Not to mention, despite Tortal informing her of her powers over light, she still didn't get a very good feeling from the man. The girl glanced around briefly, spotting Dave and making her way over to sit beside him. "Hey, haven't seen you in a while, how was your summer?"

Heaving a sigh at the fact that the professor wasn't in the room yet, Summer scrutinized her surroundings. Three Slytherins, Summer's very own captain, Fera Collis, and Ray Garner. Summer waved at Addie before deciding to take a seat next to Rayanne. The two weren't the best of friends, so why not try and strengthen their friendship now? "Hey Ray! How's it going?" Summer chirped, taking a seat next to her fellow Gryffindor and placing her book bag on her desk. She smiled the cheerful, heartwarming smile she was famous for. "Oh, hey Addie!" Summer said as Addie turned to them. "How are you?"

Both of you being athletic and all... hehe." Ray giggled. "I'm totally excited for the feast and dance. I haven't decided if I want a date or not... could be fun going with nothing tying me down, but I have gotten a few offers. How about you Summer, Addie?"

He looked to Rayanne as she spoke about dates, smiling inwardly to himself because he didn't have to worry about it at all, seeing as he was still going steady with Genevieve. It made him more comfortable around people, the fact that he was no single, because he didn't have anyone to please but her, and, in situations like this, he didn't have to worry about dates and the like.

She had almost forgotten about the Halloween party and have actually completely forgotten about the fact that she still didn't have a date. Summer couldn't help but admit it; she had been hoping that John would ask her and, after what had happened between the two in the student lounge, anyone would have expected him to ask her. But instead he had completely ignored her in DADA. Summer gulped. There was an empty feeling in the pit of her stomach suddenly. "Truthfully, I don't know if I'm going to go or not. I don't feel very well and definitely not like dancing or anything..." Summer's voice trailed off. Indeed she had suddenly began to feel quite sick. "Maybe I'll just go with a few friends or something lame like that." Summer giggled, although it was a hollow giggle unlike her usual enthusiastic one.

"I'm good thanks, and I love it Ray." Addie commented, laughing slightly and nodding. "I'm not sure what to be yet, though I was thinking of being a muggle story character. Though, I'm going with Tristan, it should be fun, I'm a little concerned about his costume however." She shook her head, a wry smile on her face. Addie paused, casting a brief glance to Summer, raising an eyebrow. Her look was subtle, but assuming Summer saw it, she would know the meaning. You okay?

She caught her non-verbal question but merely nodded and smiled weakly. I'm just weak, that's all. I can't handle uncertainty. I can't handle pressure. I can't handle anything. Tucker was right... Summer gulped and pasted on a smile. She didn't know why she was suddenly feeling so...empty. A strange feeling had entered her stomach and she inwardly moaned. This year was definitely not going the way she had wanted it to.

Like, I know I look awesome anyway, but this is just a chance for me to look even better, you know," Dave teased, smiling.
