Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Aubrey left lunch early and hid out in the empty classroom. She had nothing to say to John but wanted to talk to Summer. She felt betrayed. He started everything the very same day that James had almost killed her, killed them. She was pacing in the room, unsure of what else to do. Summer had gotten her message. Now all she could do was wait it out.

OOC: Posted this as a mental reminder. Now just waiting for Summer.

BIC: Aubrey sat on one of the desks, waiting for Summer. She was leaning against the wall, singing softly to herself.

And there I was all misty eyed just licking it up.
What became of your self-inflicted wounds.
And then the blood started running and a running right from your nose.
But you just let it flow because the color's so beautiful.

Denial feels so good.
We don't have a problem at all.
Oh, denial feels so good.
I'll even help you put up your wall.
And I'll applaud you as you fall.

Whoa, off and on, off and on.
We need to break this spell that we cast upon ourselves.
Whoa, off and on, off and on.
I need to quit.
I don't think I have the strength to live without it.

And there I was all cloudy eyed, I was trying to speak.
My family stood before me.
And then the tears started running and a running right from their eyes.
Don't you think I would stop if I could scream between the cries?

Denial feels so good.
We don't have a problem at all.
Oh, denial feels so good.
I'll even help you put up your wall.
And I'll applaud you as you fall.

Whoa, off and on, off and on.
We need to break this spell that we cast upon ourselves.
Whoa, off and on, off and on.
I need to quit.
I don't think I have the strength to live without it.

Just one final time.

Whoa, off and on, off and on.
We need to break this spell that we cast upon ourselves.
Whoa, off and on, off and on.
I need to quit.
I don't think I have the strength to live without it.
Off and on, off and on.

In her hurry to meet her, Summer practically run past the unused classroom. It was only a soft, but sweet voice that reminded her that she had walked past the designated meeting place. Smiling at the familiar song, Summer entered the Unused Classroom, panting from the long run all the way from the sixth floor, and hopped onto a desk besides Aubrey. She waited until Aubrey was done before speaking to her.

"Hi Aubrey....you wanted to talk?" Summer inquired nervously. The song had eased her anxiousness for a moment, but now that it was over the butterflies had returned to her stomach. What would Aubrey say? Would she tell Summer to forget about John and just move on? Or would she agree with John and tell Summer that she needed a break from him? Numerous thoughts ran through Summer's mind as she sat on the empty desk. Sighing, she decided to say something else.

"So, I think we need to talk about this whole situation, too. It's all really confusing to me even and we really do need to settle this. So...what do you propose we do?" Summer asked all in one breath. A part of her wanted to hear what Aubrey had to say badly, but the other part of her dreaded Aubrey's words.
Like a bird with broken wings, it's not how high he flies but the song he sings.

Aubrey opened her eyes. "Yes.. If you want to take your chance with John, please do. I'll tell him this, as well, but I think things between him and I have taken quite a turn. A break would be best," she stood, "and he's just.. happier with you. Aubrey smiled. "I'm sorry if I came off sour before. It's just.. you know how things go."

She fidgeted with her robes.

"Yes.. If you want to take your chance with John, please do. I'll tell him this, as well, but I think things between him and I have taken quite a turn. A break would be best,"

Summer couldn't believe what Aubrey was saying. Or, she could believe it, but she just couldn't comprehend it. It seemed to good to be true, but at the same time Summer felt slightly regretful...she couldn't quite figure out why exactly, but she just did. Summer didn't answer Aubrey right away, but she did slide off the desk and stand up next to Aubrey. She chewed on her nails, a habit she had thought she had gotten rid of a few years ago. Guess not. Summer didn't know what to say, she was that speechless. Nothing came to her mind; what she felt at that moment was too complicated for words. So, she decided to go with the simplest thing she could come up with. After taking a deep breath Summer slowly began to speak.

"Well...if you think that's best, then alright. I believe John thinks the same...he probably wants to talk to you, so...." Summer stopped mid-sentence. She didn't want to get involved in what Aubrey and John had to say to each other. That was their business, not hers. Now it was Summer's turn to become anxious. She nervously lifted her weight from one foot to the other before speaking once again. "Oh and, it's no problem. I'm sure I would've been much more mad if I were in your place." Summer chuckled a little. "So, we're cool?" she asked, returning to her nervous state. She didn't want this whole issue to stop her and Aubrey from being friends, but at the same time she wasn't sure how they could ever get past this.

Aubrey nodded. "We're fine." She smiled again. "I guess I got over the angry part.. I just don't want to lose a friend out of this." She shrugged. "I'll talk to John. I don't know where he is but when I find him, I'll talk to him."

Summer nodded along with Aubrey. "Good. I don't want to lose a friend because of something like this," Summer stated before smiling at Aubrey. There was an awkward silence, in which Summer tried to straighten her robes which were wrinkled and unironed from being shoved in her trunk. Finally giving up, Summer turned back to Aubrey. "Alright then, I think I'm going to go have some dinner. I'm starving," Summer chuckled, her stomach felt as good as empty. "Well, I think I'm going to go then...I'll see you around, okay? And, I'm sorry too. About this whole situation. Hopefully now it's behind us." Summer smiled weakly. For some strange reason, she couldn't stand being in the classroom any longer. She knew she should be happy, but she wasn't. She was more...confused. Waving at Aubrey, Summer walked out of the Unused Classroom.
