Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Fourth Year Posts: 35 Group: Hufflepuff Member #550 Joined: Aug 9 2008	Jesi slipped into the empty Great Hall, tired from a rough night's sleep and wanting a glass of ice cold juice. The silence was refreshing after being in classes. Only one left, Jesi, she told herself, sitting at the end of the Hufflepuff table. She had left class early and was wondering how long it would take for the other students to arrive. Until then, she pulled out a book and began to read.

He was still holding his Potions book from the class before and he hadn't gone back to the tower to put it back yet. He looked across his table. He couldn't see many seats available besides the ones closest to the end of the table by the teachers, which was hardly a good spot for him considering his oddly good skill in getting in trouble. He looked over at the Hufflepuff table. He noticed a girl he hadn't seen or heard about before. Perhaps he just didn't bother to get to know her. It wasn't exactly nice of him. He went over and sat down next to her, just to get her name. "Hey." He said simply to her.

She took a deep breath and looked around the hall. At the Hufflepuff table, was Xander Johnson, or as Tinsely and Precious called him: 'Mr. Rock God'. Her eyes wandered over to the Hufflepuff girl next to him-a girl with green and blue hair. Precious rolled her eyes. "Seriously, if you want to be an attention whore, do you have to copy me?" Precious said, touching her pink hair. Obviously, her hair was better and people would rather stare at an attractive looking girl with pink hair than a wannabe. Precious strutted down to the Slytherin table and took a seat, pouring water into her goblet.

She rushed over to the Slytherin table, sitting across from her best friend, Precious. She quickly poured water into her goblet and took a long drink. She then set the goblet down. "Preci, I have some great news!" Genesis said, bursting into a wide grin.

She smiled. He was a cute guy. More words floated from behind her. Seriously, if you want to be an attention whore, do you have to copy me? Jesi stood and spun around to face the voice; Precious Hindert, Queen Supreme Wannabe. "Excuse me? Listen, you little spoiled rotten with a bad dye job. I don't know you, have never seen you, nor really care about you. Is daddy not giving you the love you need? Feel the urge to lash out at other people? Do it to someone else - I was in the middle of a conversation with this sweet young man." Jesi sat back down, adjusting her robes. "Sorry about that.." Jesi flushed.

She always seemed to find a reason to stir up trouble, even if it meant hurting some deep inside. He turned his attention back to Jesi and took her hand and shook it. "Xander Johnson. I'm from Ravenclaw, obviously. May I take a seat here? I don't see many people I know from my House at my table right now.."

Sixth Year - Blonde Bombshell Posts: 1,394 Group: Hufflepuff Member #338 Joined: Mar 16 2008 Gender Female Age 19 Location Normal, IL	Lola strolled into the Great Hall, this time determined to eat. She sat down at the Hufflepuff table and let her eyes scan the room. She noticed a Hufflepuff girl she had never seen before, she was pretty, but there was something about her. Maybe the fact that she was in Hufflepuff; Lola had kind-of began to embrace the Hufflepuff house, though not fully. She raised an eyebrow as she watched her talk to Precious. She ignored the two and pulled a plate over to herself, serving herself some steamed veggies. She had enough junk food for the day, back in the Common Room with Katriane. She ate a few spoonfuls of her veggies and eventually began to poke at her food. Her appetite seemed to come and go easily these days. She sighed and took another spoonful and began to chew, slowly.

She was in a good enough mood that she really didn't care if someone grouched at her for getting dirt on the bench. She grabbed a few random pieces of food and began eating; she didn't think she'd eaten enough for breakfast or supper last night. She glanced at the doors every so often, wishing that one of the Slytherins would walk through them.

Having skipped breakfast, she was rather hungry. Glancing at the Ravenclaw table, she noticed it was completely empty. Well, that's no good then. With Slytherin territory clearly off-limits and the Gryffindor table similarly deserted, Paisley made her way to the Hufflepuff table, settling herself across from the other Ravenclaw and the Hufflepuff girl who was seated there. "Hello," she said simply, putting her bag beneath her. She carefully set her wand above her plate - never go unarmed, you don't know when trouble might flare up - and then bit into an apple. It was really sweet; she smiled. Note to self: don't skip breakfast again!

Xander was there, as were two girls. She smiled and waved at Paisley, a girl she recognized from classes but never really spoke to. She put some food on her plate and smiled at the other blue haired girl. "I'm Aubrey; who are you?"

"I don't know anyone here, hardly.." she confessed, blushing a little. "What do you like to do for fun?" She hoped to keep talking to Xander. Another girl sat down at the table. Jesi eyed Lola with curiosity. She was a fellow 'Puff but she hadn't seen her around much. She recognized her from classes, though. She began to say something but was cut off as another Ravenclaw sat down. "Hello!" Jesi said brightly. The party seemed to grow as another girl took her seat, across from Lola. She stared Jesi down. "I'm Aubrey; who are you?" "Hi.. I'm Jesi. How are you?" Jesi felt like an outsider.

She ate a bit of steamed broccoli and swallowed hard. It was the most foul thing she'd ever tasted. Sighing, she looked around for someone to talk to - preferably Summer or John. This needed to be resolved. She was through acting childish and she hoped Summer got her note. "So, Jesi, what do you do?"

Sixth Year Posts: 1,113 Group: Slytherin Member #135 Joined: May 8 2007	Julian walked through the double doors and spotted Constanta at the Slytherin table, ignoring the others about the room completely. As he sat he tossed his bag under the house table, helping himself to a cold drink. "Constanta, where are the others?" Though the Slytherin seemed to be simialr to the types of people he tended towards, he hadn't spoken to her as much as some of the others and so was reserving judgment for now. Though the fact that Tinsley and Ian accepted her made him think she was probably acceptable. Still...no need to take chances.
