Read Today's Daily Prophet: Knights of Walpurgis attack Hogwarts; Belleford steps down as Hogwarts closes until further notice
Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Summer saw the single tear run down Ben's saddened face and patted his back. Her mouth had dried up at the thought of loving someone so much and then having to acknowledge their death.

"I'm sorry, Ben. It's not fair. You didn't get a chance to tell her how much you love her before...before it was too late," she stated, looking down at him from her spot on the grass. Life just wasn't fair. And it never would be. You would just die in the end, so everything you ever did would be for nothing. Right?

"You might mourn over Yvette's death and even hate yourself for it now, but pretty soon it'll be a thing of the past. Sure, you'll still miss her and love her, but you'll be able to move on. You can't change what happened to Yvette. You can regret it, but you can't change it. So why think about something all the time when you can't do anything about?" A large grin formed on Summer's face and then she added, "Trust me. I'm saying this from past experience."

Eric strolled out onto the grounds. He was rather with a smile on his face for once, despite last night being confronted by a rather large group of friends listening and playing music. Eric grunted at the thought and pushed it to the back of his mind.

He hadn't gone off to lessons for a couple of reasons; Firstly,Transfiguration disgusted him with their use of animals when forcefully transforming them to things they wouldn't dare want to be. Secondly the current lesson was Potions and being a born and bred Gryffindor, that subject was not one he enjoyed, it was more over in the Slytherin side of things.

The Gryffindor wandered accross the dry grass before spotting two figures settled down beside the lake. He sighed. At first he thought these two were two lovebirds hanging out to get some kisses away from others, but after a few seconds; he realised who it accutally was. Ben.

"Ugh him," Eric said with a snort to himself before thinking about what to do for second. Should he go away and stick apart from people like he loved to do, or would he put further torment onto his enemy he harmed just weeks before.

Eric strode accross the lawn and settled down behind the two of them, smirking all the time; before calling out suddenly, "Oh if it isn't Captain Baby and Miss Moan-a-lot," he spoke rather softly but with a hint of bitterness about it. All the time he was tapping his foot on the ground while almost posing to them when they would turn around. He relised the other student was Summer; a fellow Gryffindor who had been pissed off by Eric after the whole music fiasco. He smirked before mockingly waving to them.

The Gryffindor, Lone Wolf of Nature, knew he could strike fear into Ben whenever and however he needed to.

Before Ben could even give an answer to her comments, Summer was startled to hear an unfortunately familiar voice behind her. She quickly whipped around and stood up. When she realized that it was the bitter Gryffindor she had met the previous night, Summer just smirked and mockingly waved back.

"What do you want, Mr. Music Hater?" she questioned, glaring at him. Summer had never caught his real name, but she just used this as an advantage. "I hope you're not here just to say something mean. Because if that's the case, I'll have you know that we're just going to ignore your rudeness," Summer told him before sitting down with her back against the boy and looking out onto the lake again.

Before the Gryffindor boy could answer Summer, Summer herself stood up. She smoothened her skirt and said to Ben, "I think I'm gonna go up to the Great Hall to grab some lunch now. I had to skip breakfast to make it to Transfiguration, so my stomach is killing me." She glanced at Eric and then added, "Sorry to leave you with him. And don't worry about you-know-who. It'll be OK." She smiled one last big grin at Ben, frowned at the other boy, picked up her book bag and headed towards the castle.

Adrianne walked out into the grounds through the double doors of the castle, carrying her lunch with her. She felt like eating outside that day, it was a nice day and she didn't really feel like being around everyone else. Adrianne walked to a big tree by the lake, and sat under it, up against it's trunk. She began eating while thinking.

That Lyla Anderson really had upset her. The first day and someone was already making fun of her for being a muggleborn. Adrianne kept wondering why Lyla wasn't at Potions. She supposed that she was probably just skipping, but it annoyed her.

Adrianne ate some more toast as she looked out into the grounds. Just then she remembered what class was next, Care of Magical Creatures! This was her favorite class, so this thought cheered her up a bit.

Entering the grounds gracefully Melanie looked up at the sky . It was a glorious day , the sky was as blue as it can be . Perfect to be outside.
She remembered the last time she came to the grounds . She had met a Griffindor girl , which she couldnt remember her name.
Slowly looking for a place to sit , Melanie saw a girl sitting by the tree with her lunch too!
Smiling she approached the girl , who then she reconized . It was the Native American griffindor girl she had met at the beginning of year feast.
She gave her a smile and sat down "Hallo! Sein ein schönes Tag Huh? " She gave a little laugh and said "Ill be nice enough to translate that for you ." she couldnt continue with how much she was laughing . Happily she translated the sentence "Hello! Its a beautiful day huh?" Putting her bag down she said "I like making a fool out of myself. Mind if I join you ? Or may I say , Is it ok that I sat next to you?" she grinned , then took a bite of the chicken on her plate.

Adrianne looked up at the girl who was talking to her. It took her a second to remember her, and then she remembered her as being the Slytherin she had met on the Grounds the night before. She couldn't remember her name, but she had seemed very nice then so Adrianne smiled and nodded when the girl asked to sit next to her, her mouth was full at the moment so she just nodded.

"It's great to see you again! How have you been?" Adrianne asked, not wanting to sound as if she had forgotten the girls' names.

Eric simply smirked to the girl as she mouthed off yet again to him, he sighed, rolled his eyes and sat back in the grass as she wandered off, before perking up and glancing at Ben.

"Well baby-Benny, looks like it's just you and me," he snarled before getting to his feet, he knew the boy was scared of him, "But I'll save you the embarassment for now...until later," The loner smirked once more.

He smiled to himself then went to kick Ben, he didn't of course. Just pretended; But the Gryffindor did enjoy placing fear into the boy's brain and heart. And with that, he left the grounds; to go back into the castle for lunch.

Melanie smiled . "Well I have been ok. It has been a boring day" she said , grabbing the fork she had brought and then put some rice and beans in her mouth . As she chewed her food , she wondered what was the girl's name . "How about you ? How've you been?" she grinned , then kept eating her food.

"I've been pretty good as well. It's been exciting getting back to classes. I'm excited for Care of Magical Creatures, that's my favorite class. What about you? What's yours?" Adrianne asked the girl. She couldn't stand it, she had to know what the girl's name was.
"Um.... this is probably going to sound really rude, but I've met so many new people..... what was your name again?" Adrianne asked nervously, she hoped she wouldn't upset the girl.

Melanie smiled as the girl asked her what was her name again . Quickly she swallowed her chicken ,and said "Oh my name is Melanie . Though you can call me Mel , or Mela ." she gave a little laugh and continued "My favorite class is potions , though I hate the people who teach it . I got points off my house for coming late . ugh . I know I dont like my house much but still. Care of Magical Creatures is interesting , but I like potions more. " Slowly eating her rice she told the girl "You know , I forgot your name too . What is it again ? " she said , shrugging a bit.

Adrianne smiled, glad the girl wasn't mad at her, and she was glad she wasn't the only one forgetting names.
"Melanie, that's it. Thanks. My name's Adrianne Eswara. Yes I do like Potions a lot to, but I don't particularly like the teacher either, she's very strict. I'm sure she means well though," Adrianne said. She began eating more of her food. She wasn't all that hungry, but she supposed she'd better eat.

Ben Thomas

Ben scowled as Eric, the Gryffindor who attacked him for no reason in the summer appeared on the scene, soon after Summer left him. He shook like leaf as he feared the boy. Ben bit his lip and jumped as he pretended to attack him.

Afterwards, he watched the loner wander back across the grounds towards the castle. The sad thing was; Ben was now the loner. Summer had left him sitting her, still shaking after the encounter from someone who nearly equaled Julian on Ben's fear scale.

The Hufflepuff sat, curled up. On his own.

After around 10 minutes or so, a cool breeze caused Ben to shiver and look up across the grounds. He hadn't really noticed until now about how beautiful they were, even after the battle. He sighed, the last time he was out on those grounds he was visiting Yvette's body once more, then he ran into that massive fight/war.

Ben shrugged and looked around. It was still slightly gusty but very nice weather to be outside in. The noises from the nearby Care Of Magical Creatures class echoed towards him. He should be there but he really didn't want to be.

A flash of green. Suddenly something caught Ben's eye. He wasn't sure if it was green or not; but on the edge of the forest he could of sworn something was there. The wind wisp again before something crept into sight again.

That's...That's...That's a damn Leprechaun!" Ben shouted in shock. They were rare to the human eye. It couldn't of been could it? Ben raised an eyebrow. Had he just seen one of muggle's myths - A leprechaun.

The Hufflepuff looked again, nothing was there. It was definitely not a Red Cap, even though they looked slightly the same.

Still shocked Ben jumped to his feet and looked around for someone to tell immediately!

OOC - Now I need someone to come along and ask Ben's whats up, he will tell them and they won't belive him. Anyone please! Then I need Riley at some point, or that can happen later when Ben starts mouthing off about it then (at like dinner or whatever.)

The wind blew accross the grassy meadows of Hogwarts legendary grounds, the cool breeze relaxed the usually uptight Robert, as he walked across the grounds.

He came to an sudden halt as a Hufflepuff boy came into sight. It was Ben Thomas; he didn't really know much about the boy except he was slightly strange for his age. Luckily (For Ben) Robert didn't know of his close relationship with Lola.

"What the hell are you doing Thomas?" Robert called out as he strode past the rather intriguing Hufflepuff, whom was still jumping about like a rabbit about something.

Robert looked up to the sky and sighed, it was so beautiful and blue with only a couple of white, fluffy, sheep-like clouds staining it. Then he looked down again and raised an eyebrow to Ben. As he awaited an answer.
"I'm just another lush who's had one too many."

Ben jumped as he heard a sudden deep voice, he swirled around to see a Gryffindor walking by. The guy was Robert Rorson; someone who Ben hadn't really ever spoken to in his life but he knew the name of; afterall in this place, rumours spread easily. So it was no real big surprise either that The Gryffindor knew his name.

He shook it off however and smiled before remembering exactly why he was running around with so much excitement. Ben jogged up to the boy; his fellow Fourth Year and spoke suddenly in a rather jibbering way, "Over there!" He pointed with his left hand in excitement.

"A leprechaun! A leprechaun!" Ben said with a rush; it was rather more like a chant then an answer to Robert's question.

Robert simply raised an eyebrow at the boy; Ben was one of these people who nobody would belive. Not in that childish state he always in, this was probably one load of gobble coming from The Hufflepuff's mouth.

The breeze swept accross his face, it was starting to get chilly as some stray peices of grass blew along with it. The Gryffindor rolled his eyes and put a sarcastic hand on Ben's shoulder, "Yes Ben, a leprechaun," he nodded while saying this, very down gradingly.

He then once again rolled his eyes and yawned; Robert was not in the mood for being horrible or such to anyway, he just wanted to get back inside before the weather took a turn for the worse, "Erm, see you at dinner, maybe," Robert said in an unsure way, he gave Ben a nod before entering the castle at a jog. He couldn't be bothered to go to lesson now, it was too late for him, the teacher - Professor Concordus; whom happened to be his head of house which made things worse, would just take out his recent anger on Robert.

Ben scowled to the boy's back as he walked away from him; he could tell his comments were nothing but sarcasm in a mean form. Rolling his eyes, Ben took steps back towards the castle; only to stop half way and look back to the forest once more.

Was there really a leprechaun there? He needed to tell people straight away about his "discovery" but would they belive him? Would they all be like Robert Rorson the Gryffindor was just like?

All these questions went through Ben's mind as he approached the big, wooden, impressive doors of Hogwarts' Castle, he smiled and muttered a simple, "Bloody hell!" Before Ben re-entered the castle at some speed.

Mudwin Sinbyte

Mudwin walked out to the grounds, Abominor in hand, head hung low. Once again he had been defied trying to bring Bibby back to the Sinbyte Estate; once again by a filthy, dirty Hufflepuff who was probably in love with half of the digusting creatures anyway.

He growled in the back of his throat and marched around to the side of the castle - the place where he had gained entry many times; The Hogwarts' Defences were just not the same...then from...Ally's day...Mudwin rolled his eyes at the thought of her. Her death came back to his mind and today he had killed an innocent House Elf. However instead of feeling guilty this made The Dangerous Sinbyte literally raise his head in pride and smile. He laughed a bit before walking towards the boundries.

As he walked along he noticed something. Some weird, dark, battered shape nearby to the castle walls. Mudwin frowned to catch a glimpse of it...and then he did. It. Was. A. Body. Any other person would gasp or feel their stomach churn and turn, but this was a member of the infamous Sinbyte family who stuck to their own ways; He made his way over.

It was the corpse of a Slytherin girl, it seemed; unsually; to be not-rotting or such. Something was protecting it, but at this time it looked empty. Like the spirit was away.

Rage was still built up in Mudwin's body, his blood was pulsating rather quickly throughout. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply before pulling Te Abominor out from within his pocket. He placed it down and muttered...it glowed Orange again.

Soon after; the girl's body did the same as Rolpho, the murdered house elf, did. It rose up into the air and began to glow. Mudwin smirked as he pulled out his wooden wand, he waved it in the air with a swish towards The Abominor. The death defying object would only be able to do one last killing, after all something with that much power being used too much in a short time would cause alot of damage to bigger forces.

Yvette, not known to Mudwin rose up and a ticking sound began...soon after. She was gone. Like Rolpho. The probably murdered corpse just left laying around Hogwarts had been eaten away by Mudwin's deadly object. He smiled and picked it up again, but something still didn't feel right around the air. The Sinbyte Estate Owner shook his head and shrugged it off before placing The Abominor back into his handy jacket pocket.

A cackle from Mudwin followed before he looked at his pocket watch, "It's time to go," He muttered to himself; remebering that now he had to resort to Isaac's plan to bring back Bibby, he had to, it was that or nothing. Bibby had his chanced slimmed down now.

And with that, Mudwin Sinbyte, The Powerful Elderly Sinbyte Estate Owner, left Hogwarts. But would be return someday? For now it was another Sinbyte's turn...
